Very stylish, relatively new, staff are all very very friendly and really want to get to know you/help. The location is perfect as you can walk right into the heart of Shinjuku in 10 minutes but don't have any of the chaos/noise of it. We stayed in a premium room and the space was adequate although slightly smaller than expected.

It's hard to criticise anything but the breakfast service is probably the only thing - the food itself is lovely but every day it seemed a little chaotic, almost like the kitchen isn't big enough to service the number of guests. Very minor issue though!

All staff (mix of Japanese and international) are very friendly and helpful, and I think this is what makes Kimpton Shinjuku standout above the rest. The hotel design is very stylish and smart, with lovely rooms, as well as smart lobby cafe, restaurant and rooftop bar, and a very good gym. Enjoyed a complimentary coffee in the cafe one morning and a drink and snack during social hour on a couple of nights. The breakfast is very tasty and big, more like going out for brunch. The location is excellent, within a 10 min walk from Shinjuku Station. Particular thanks to exceptional service from Antoine & Dat (F&B) and Laura & Eugene (concierge), which really made my stay perfect 10/10.

Hard to complain about this Hotel. It’s very very good. If I am being picky, then being Tokyo, with space at a premium, there’s not much space for luggage. I think I’d suggest removing the standup lamps for some extra space. I just packed my suitcase up each day to keep the room tidy. Otherwise, FYI, there’s no shower room for late checkout, if you have a midnight/1am departure out of Haneda.

The Kimpton is a very nice hotel in Tokyo in a reasonable location. Rooms are larger than average although still a bit tight with luggage. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. Very nice products and loved that there was moisturiser! Breakfast was very enjoyable (Signature Eggs Benedict was delicious) and bar food on level 17 was delicious. Complimentary kick-start coffee in the morning was a nice touch as was the social hour. Service was friendly.

The only criticism was that the a la carte restaurant was only offering a set menu the night we wished to eat in the hotel with a set starting time. It would have been good to have been informed upon check in that this was occurring to be able to plan accordingly.

Great location , short walk from Shinjuku station, surrounded by convenience stores within 100-200 meters for last minute shopping. Drinks every day in afternoon with staff, very friendly and welcoming. Feels different to other hotels, front desk staff superb and just everyone goes out of the way to reach out. District and Jones restaurants great for more formal or relaxed dining and free coffee in morning in Jones !

The staff was attentive and had a great gesture by offering me a better room when I requested it. The facilities are modern, clean and spacious, especially considering the accommodations in Tokyo. The breakfast was amazing - the à la carte dishes were tasty! It's a very inclusive hotel. The location is close to Shinjuku station, about a 15-minute walk away.

None - everything was amazing.

Reception staff was attentive taking good care of guests. I checked in for 3 days. But on the 2nd day morning I had skin rash and itch on both legs not knowing exactly what the causes. Feeling really uncomfortable, I decided to leave on the 3rd day. The staff at the reception especially the supervisor was very helpful to look for a pharmacy, buying baby soap (on the 2nd day) as well as to book the limousine bus to airport. He also mentioned that the hotel will see if the room charge on the 3rd day can be refunded. Really appreciate it.

Incredible ambiance, bar, restaurant, and spotless room in central location. Staff were absolutely incredible and went out of their way to welcome us. Included happy hours/social hours which we loved.

Some street noise during the night which may affect light sleepers. Not a ton in walking distance but central to everything we wanted to explore.

The hotel itself is brand new, beautiful, and in an absolutely perfect location. The amenities are wonderfully set and executed including café, restaurant, gym, and more. However it is the staff that will make the greatest impact on your stay. These people are some of the most attentive, considerate, knowledgeable and thoughtful staff we have ever seen. Alex in particular was able to help point us in the right direction on more than one occasion and his advice allowed for some of our best experiences in Tokyo (including quite possibly the best meal of my life). I could not possibly give a higher recommendation to this hotel.

There is nothing we disliked about this hotel. Our stay was perfect.
