The Grey is one the best "rooms" we stayed in the last 10 years. Location, service, assistance were superior: the decor of each room and common areas is stylish and functional with the best of italian design tastefully presented. All the equipment and the access system were operating correctly making life at the Grey a pleasure. On top of this Mr. Daniele and his team provided a competent and courteous service: follow their suggestions and Napoli will open specially for you. Location is among the best with easy, walking, access to 80pct of what you would like to see in town. Elegant, serviced, central apartment in Napoli.
Difficult to find something not likeable at the Gray. Once you buy the vision and philophy of the establishment, everything fall into place with a big TEN in satisfaction. A little more space in the standard room could be the only desire.

We booked super last minute and within a few hours, the staff, in particular Francesco messaged us to assist with our stay. He managed the quick change request and also ensured our stay would be comfortable as we were traveling to kids ( 3 years and 18 month). Upon arrival, we were greeted with everything we needed + valet taken car of! And Fransesco provided us with many local reccommendations that allowed us to really experience the authentic food from Naples I also asked if it was possible to arrange a day out on the boat so we could tour the Amalfi Coast, Capri and Positano so we didn't have to do day trips and he took care of all of that too!! It was the highlight of our Italian Tour

I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Grey, and my experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism. The rooms were immaculate and perfectly appointed, providing a comfortable and luxurious atmosphere. Every detail, from the plush bedding to the well-stocked amenities, contributed to a truly relaxing stay. A special mention must go to Daniele, whose outstanding service made a significant difference during my visit. Despite being injured, I felt incredibly well cared for, thanks to Daniele's attentive and compassionate assistance. He and the staff went above and beyond to ensure all my needs were met, making my stay not only comfortable but also memorable. Additionally, The Grey's central location made it incredibly convenient to explore all of Naples' main attractions. Whether you're interested in historical sites, vibrant markets, or delightful dining options, everything is just a short walk or a quick ride away. I highly recommend The Grey to anyone looking for a top-tier hotel experience. The combination of spotless rooms, exceptional service, and a prime location sets it apart, making it a standout choice for any traveler. Thank you

The rooms were lovely and very clean. The balconies were adorable overlooking the city streets. The staff was so nice and super helpful in scheduling taxis and especially with helping store our luggage after check out before our train.
The building is old and quaint with a lot of charm. However, travelers should be aware of the extremely small elevator (accommodations on the 3rd floor). It was very difficult to get our luggage in and out of the elevator; since we were in Italy for over 2 weeks; we had some large bags. We had to make multiple trips when checking in and out. We also had breakfast included (which apparently is not included anymore-it’s 12E) but did not know that it didn’t start until 8 am. We had to leave for a tour at 8 am so we couldn’t enjoy our “included” breakfast. The timing would have been helpful in planning tours. When comparing other hotel prices in the area, this now seemed a bit pricey for the area & accommodations.

My stay at The Grey was incredible, the owners of the hotel were very accommodating and friendly. I had a very late check in on the day and they ensured somebody was there upon arrival. Our check out was also very early in the morning and they had arranged an airport transfer to make life easier. The room was cleaned everyday and it was immaculate, the bed was very comfy and when the balcony door was shut you could hardly hear any of he hustle and bustle from the busy street below. The location of the hotel was about 20 minutes walk from all the tourist attractions but the street are filled with lots to do and see on the walk. Couldn’t recommend this hotel enough, you will have a guaranteed great stay.

Wonderful quiet serene accommodation in the centre of the hustle and bustle of Napoli city centre. Our 3rd floor accommodation gave us a lovely view of a very busy Corso Umberto, but once the double-glazed windows were closed it was quiet and peaceful. The room itself was modern and spacious with a beautiful bathroom Daniel, our host was charming and very patient with our numerous queries, and pointed us to the right Trattoria, the right pizza and the best swimming beach in Naples. The general staff were very helpful at breakfast every morning, and the coffee was delicious. We couldn’t hope for a better experience and certainly recommend very highly. Would go back in an instant.
we loved everything

The room was lovely, with a high ceilng. The beds very comfortable, the aircon quiet, the double glazing very efficient and the decoration tasteful. In addition, Daniele the concierge recommended a restaurant which was really good - a lifetime first for a hotel recommendation - and was in general very helpful.
The bathroom was a little small, and the breakfast was disappointing for a place of this kind at this price; sweet commercial cereal, sweet buns, sweet yoghurt, tasteless bread for toast, and only rather tired whole fruit. Fresh rolls, natural yoghurt, unsweetened muesli and a fresh salad of the delicious local fruit would have been really welcome.

The Rooms were as pictured. Location was great not in a super touristy area. We really felt like we were amongst the locals which we loved. Very close proximity to the metro and restaurants.
The only issue was the first day when we got there with all of our luggage The elevator wasn’t working so we had to walk up four flights of stairs with our luggage. They did of course offered to help with the luggage and by the next day the elevator was working again, so all is well.

The Grey has a great location at the edge of the historical district of Naples. Our room was very modern and clean, and the bed was the most comfortable one we had during our 10-day trip to Italy. The staff was very attentive and friendly. They kept our mini fridge in the room well-stocked with water and other beverages during our stay. Although our room fronted on Corso Umberto I—a pretty busy two-way street—it was still miraculously quiet through the night. Breakfast was available every morning between 8-10:30 and included fresh fruit, pastries, meats and cheeses, juice, and made to order eggs.

Spacious, modern, immaculately clean room in a beautiful historic building. Excellent sound proofing. Exceptional central location near the port and train station, walking distance to all sites of interest. Nice breakfast area, excellent breakfast options and great coffee. Professional, kind and very helpful staff. Daniele's priceless guidance and assistance with everything from restaurant bookings to transportation, as well as his extensive knowledge of the area, made our stay particularly pleasant.
The elevator in this historic building may be problematic for some. It functions perfectly well however when the instructions of use are followed.
