Beautifully appointed. Wonderful, breakfast and accommodations. The staff was by far the best we’ve seen in Italy. And that is saying something.

I realize that the facility is housed in old buildings which throws off the stairways and elevations. Uneven steps into rooms, and in the hallways makes it difficult for someone who is in paying close attention to their feet.

I loved this hotel! I stayed with my husband and daughter, we booked a family room and ended up with a small flat! we had a kitchen/diner, 2 large bedrooms and delightful shower. The main bedroom was a king (or larger) size bed, with two closets. A large television on the wall. Our daughter was in a seperate room on a double bed settee, which she said was very comfortable. The staff were a mixed bag, some were lovely and chatty and helpful, others seemed to be counting the minutes until the end of their shift! The location was just ideal, both for heading into the shops etc, but also for crossing the river and heading up to watch the sun go down over the city. Found some cute little wine windows around the city, keep an eye out for those. The restaurant just near the entrance of the hotel was a great find too, wouldn't usually eat so near our hotel usually, but our daughter wasn't feeling 100% and requested somewhere nearby, the food was very tasty! The Spa area is very compact but a nice treat to have the option of, it needs to be pre booked, and I can't recall if we had 1 or 2 hours use.

I'm really splitting hairs when saying negatives, and they're not necessarily negatives, perhaps more a suggestion to make the stay nicer. Top up the nespresso pods in the rooms daily, along with milk. I don't think it's too much to ask personally! Upgrade the breakfast selection, this is something we commented on in everyone of our hotel stays in Italy though, breakfast just seems very limited. And finally, our daughter would of liked a TV in her room!!

Beautiful old building in the heart of Florence with a very quaint modern and art inspired twist. Modern facilities gently set into huge rooms with high ancient ceilings . Equipped with all one needs! Fantastic sized bathrooms- large easy walk in showers, a bidet, large sized basins. Excellent water pressure on the third floor and good hot water temperatures easy to regulate. Fully equipped kitchenette- fridge, espresso machine with pods, sink, glasses, cups, plates, pots, cutlery etc.. We had two rooms , two bathrooms, two sofas, and two TV- like an apartment really. GORGEOUS!😍 Staff were very kind and friendly, helpful any time, with dual or possibly more languages easily.

The overall A/C was very loud at night, like a storm hauling around the house, and it was very warm in the rooms over night and I seemed not able to regulate it individually from inside the room.

The location of this hotel was perfect! It was very close to all of the key museums, churches and attractions and all of the restaurants! Breakfast was delicious and accommodated vegetarian and non-vegetarian tastes! Our family suite was beautifully designed, spacious, clean, functional with kitchenette and dining tables and beds were very comfortable and cozy! The spa was a soothing treat for aching muscles after busy day tours! Staff were more than helpful, efficient and friendly! We definitely would stay here again if we return to Florence! I love the Casual brand!

Spa hours were too limited - they should be extended to accommodate travellers who prefer to use the spa at their leisure.

Location is perfect, Florence is a very walkable City, and this hotel is located in the right spot to see all the major attractions. It's also very close to the hop-on hop-off bus stops. The staff were super friendly and helpful, always greeting us with a smile. Breakfast was nice, the rooms were clean, and overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Unfortunately the pool pool closing time is very early so we missed out on going for a swim. In addition to this, we found out that the pool is hot, not cold. Which isn't very refreshing after a hot day walking around Florence. It may be mentioned somewhere that it's a hot pool, if it does we missed it and that is our fault.

Incredibly large room, plenty of space to store clothes and move around. The pool and sauna, while needing to be reserved, were great to relax in after a long few days walking around Florence. Although the room was warm, AC brought the temperature down and made it more suitable. Staff were kind and helpful, and umbrellas available for guests to use on rainy days!

Breakfast was okay, with a selection of items available. After having it once, I'd rather go somewhere else in the morning for something more substantial.

Location, atmosphere, and value; this place exceeded our expectations so much we thought we were given an upgrade!

Only suggestion is to regulate the spa a bit more. Some guests were using it w/o booking their times and would place wet towels on the only lay down areas, thus making them unusable by other guests sharing the spa time with them. Signage or a bit more direction by staff would help.

Perfect location! Reception was very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast buffet was good. Suite was clean and bright, with a comfortable bed. Bathroom was large and well-appointed. The balcony was excellent. Elevator was modern and fast.

There was no literature in the room with pool/spa hours, check-out time or local recommendations. I felt pressure to check-out before I was ready and the receptionist tried to charge me for two breakfasts when I only stayed one night. Parking will not give you access to your car between 12:00 am and 7:30 am.

This was an ideal location! The staff were INCREDIBLE - so kind and very helpful. The hotel was immaculate and the room was spacious. Breakfast was definitely more than most Italian hotel breakfasts and we enjoyed our short stay! Will definitely return and will recommend to friends traveling to Florence. Grazie mille!

The only thing I would have liked to have been made more clear from the beginning is that the pool is not open to anyone under 16 years old. I may have missed that earlier so it was a bit disappointing to not be able to use the pool during our stay (especially because I was with my son).

The hotel is new. it was a historic building that turned into a hotel. All rooms in the hotel has painted ceiling renaissance style. Modern bathroom with toiletries, and heated floor. little kitchenette with dish washer. our room had an alter original to the building. the best part was the heated pool, sauna and gym. we reserved time to access the heated pool and sauna. it was the best!!! the stay in this specific location change the vibe and atmosphere. it is very central to the old city with all attractions lime Uffizi gallery, David at the Accademia Gallery and the cathedral of Santa Maria Del Fiore. the hotel was 20 minutes walk from the main train station.
