The location was fab, 10minutes stroll into StIves town & porthminster beach,or a 5/8 minute walk to carbis bay beach. The room was spotless & had everything we needed, clean linen, clean towels, kettle, tea & coffee,milk sugar + cookies 😍. complimentary toiletries. The host was lovely, very friendly & accomodating but not in your face which for me is important 🙈..breakfast time was 👌🏻 and had a wide choice of selection, fresh fruit, cereal, toast, crumpets, pancakes, ham eggs fresh juices, yoghurts, tea & coffee, i could go on for ever with breakfast choices. I will definately return and i would recommend this B&B to anyone wanting a comfortable & quiet stay in a beautiful location.

The only thing i can think of is Put a toilet brush in the bathroom 🙈

Nice and light, good sized room, comfy beds and a nice fresh vibe. We had the honeycrisp room which had a nice big bay window looking out to the sea. Also we had a happy 2 year old as over the road there is a small park. Adrian was a fantastic host, friendly and helpful. We've stayed in many places in St ives harbour over the years and this was our 1st time staying in carbis bay and we enjoyed it equally. A plus point being that it's easier to park the car up and head out as and when than when you're in the thick of the town and sometimes struggling to get a parking space close to where your staying. We Will definetly consider green apple again in the future.

Location good. Walkable to carbis bay for train and life guarded beach Car parking no problem here either 2 spaces on property or street parking immediately outside. Continental style self service breakfast available. Inc toasted options, cereals boiled eggs etc Good sized shower, fresh towels in room, reuse or request more as room not serviced during stay Recommended the mermaid seafood restaurant st ives but book in advance. Avoid portminster beach cafe overpriced mediocre experience no atmosphere tiny portions left us eating snacks as soon as we left as were still hungry A really friendly host and great welcome

I'd stay here again, so no real dislikes. Maybe a better description on this site as "breakfast included" led to assumptions by me that it was a cooked hot breakfast. Good for carbis bay but Walking distance to st ives sloop inn by harbour around 45 mins and hard going on return due to uphill however £2 bus closeby/ £2train from carbis bay/ or £7 taxi was a good option for tired legs

Adrian, our gracious host, made our stay even more enjoyable with his warmth and hospitality. He kindly allowed us a late checkout, accommodating our schedule seamlessly. Adrian's recommendations for local attractions enhanced our experience, ensuring we made the most of our time in the area. The breakfast spread was nothing short of fantastic, featuring a variety of options from crumpets to toast, eggs, fruits, and cereals - catering to every palate. Overall, our stay at Green Apple Bed and Breakfast was nothing short of delightful, and I would highly recommend it to anyone seeking a relaxing and memorable getaway!

One area for potential improvement is the provision of additional toiletries.

Very warm pleasant and helpful host. Nice and clean room. Great location. Definitely had a view to the beach side. Easily accessible by public transport. Nice cafe around. Also a grocery store and pharmacy.

Bathroom - Very tiny, no space at all to turn around inside. I would reccomend to keep the bin inside the bathroom somewhere more accessible as it was in a corner between the close and washbasin which is kind of really difficult to get to.

We felt extremely comfortable. The room was very clean and spacious, and we also had enough room in the bathroom. The breakfast room is very friendly and spreads a very good atmosphere. The breakfast is very good - there is everything you need to start your vacation day. Adrian is a great host, always in a good mood - you can feel how much he enjoys running this Bed & Breakfast. If I go on vacation in this area again, I will definitely stay here again. Too bad we were only there for such a short time.

We were warmly welcomed by the owner, Adrian, who could not have done enough to ensure we were happy throughout the duration of our stay. Our room was cosy and very clean, as was the rest of the property after a recent refurb. The location was great and we were able to park on site. Great for access to the beach, St Ives, and the main routes to get around Cornwall. Often busy at breakfast, but again our host was happy to move things round to accommodate.

The host, Adrian, is friendly and extremely helpful. The breakfast area is bright and colourfully decorated. The continental breakfast has a wide variation of quality products to choose from. Carbis Bay is in a quiet location a short distance outside St Ives and a relatively easy walk if you are fit. There are good restaurants within walking distance. A bus service into St Ives and to other locations in Cornwall passes the front of the property.

Nothing that we didn’t like. Parking at the property is limited but there is street parking immediately nearby. We had a minor problem with a blocked shower waste that was fixed immediately.

Everything! Welcoming, charmingly decorated, clean and with an incredibly comfortable bed. Our host was extraordinary : warm, helpful and attentive. Our room overlooked the bay and we loved the view. We appreciated that the location was outside the St Ives bustle, yet a quick and convenient bus ride in. We started out with a rental car, but the location was so convenient to public transportation, that we handed the rental car in. And the beach is a short walk away. The continental breakfast was plentiful and with lots of choice and always with an individually prepared pot of tea! Spend a night or spend a week!!!!

If you enjoy a 'home from home' experience with warm welcome, a cosy yet quirky place to rest your head, and conveniently quiet base to explore from then this is the place to go:-) Especially nice for creatives and explorers, with a view of the sea from the breakfast room, maybe take an hour or so to indulge yourself and paint a seascape! That's what I'll be doing on my next visit, for sure! I've stayed in so many different B&Bs over the years as I absolutely love St Ives however, this one feels like it has a heart and is drawing me back for a return visit; and I'm sure you will feel the same, so why not give it a go!

There was nothing of any consequence to dislike, and I'm pretty opiniated:-) and the owners seem to really care about making your visit a pleasant one.
