Location is steps away from all the places I want to visit. Staff are really kind! I requested for late check out at 3pm (they waive the fee as room wasnt ready during check in) yet I only check out 3.30pm but wasn’t charge. A good variety on the breakfast menu that’s included in all room types from 7.30am-12noon. No morning prayers over the loud speaker at 6am!

Cleanliness upon check in of room can be improve. Windows can’t be open…curtains cant be drawn open for natural light during day

The hotel is small but quite complete + very comfortable, and I like it very much because I feel very homely during my stay there. It is operated by 2 very friendly and bubbly sisters who would do anything to ensure our stay is comfortable. My mom and some guests even had their breakfast in pyjamas every morning as everyone is treating it like their home. It doesn't have that kind of formality and restrictions as in an international 5 star hotel. Very family oriented and cosy!

Every staff/owner here is very friendly and helpful; you can trust them to ensure you have a nice stay. Breakfast is included; and the food was good. And the coffee, is my personal favourite. The linens and towels smelled fresh and scented, not musty or funny-smelling like some places I've stayed before. This, to me, is a very comforting factor in an inn/motel. They catered to my sometimes untimely requests without hesitation. I've had a warm welcome, a warm stay and a warm departure. Thank you, Good Luck Inn.

the door of the rooms are very heavy and so the door will slam loudly by itself, and therefore very noisy every time when someone in and out of the rooms nearby, sometimes can clearly hear noise from rooms nearby, the room with king bed is not as big as described on the web, actually a bit smaller than expected, the toilet floor is a bit sticky, not clean enough, the soap dispenser in the shower booth is broken,

The customer service is good. The hotel owners went out of their way to provide excellent customer service as they were attentive and ready-to- help with little details especially in providing information regarding transportation and travels within Ayer Itam. They managed to arrange for a taxi to bring me up to Batu Ferringhi on 4 February 2023 evening despite the big traffic jams in town due to the Thaipusam festival. Bravo! I am a happy customer, very satisfied with the excellent customer service of Good Luck Inn.

The noises from some people at nights..

The breakfast is made to order and done very well, exceeded my expectation because price is so cheap. The staffs are very helpful, and they do their best to help me with aircon issue even it's end of the day for them. I will definitely want to come back if I am to stay in Itam area again.

Wifi service is inconsistent, certain hours of the day I don't have wifi. But I don't expect too much given this is a MYR100+ per night hotel.

The room is well maintained. Bed is cleaned and comfortable. The water pressure is surprisingly strong, and the water heater works well. I met the lady owner of the hotel twice during the stay. She is very helpful and friendly. I thought the breakfast will be the standard continental breakfast ; well, it turns out that one can select penang hawker food from the menu. The lady host cooked and served the hot food immediately after taking the orders. I ordered fried koay teow, and it was good. Overall this hotel is value for money. If your activity is around Air Itam, Kek Lok Si and Penang Hill, I would like to recommend this hotel to you.

Feel at home with services given by the staff. Must try their oriental food, tasty. Rooms are pretty spacious, a king sized bed housed 3 of us comfortablely. Never encountered parking issue as per stated by some. As long as you get more information from the counter before checking in, parking is not an issue at all.

We were out most of the time hence didn’t spend much time in the room but when we did it was all cosy and comfy. No issues whatsoever.

Parking lot is an issue. And I hope the management could consider fitting in ceiling fans as there’s only AC and we had to rum it whole night. Not really good for asthmatic patients like me.

Just like another home to me. This is my second stay here in 3 weeks. Good value for money. Clean, comfortable, convenient location and most importantly the very friendly owners of the hotel who are very hands-on in ensuring the guests feel at home 🥰

Car park can be better but not a big problem to me
