The property is amazing - right at the base of the volcano Teide. The facilities are clean and accommodating. The people working at the resort were kind and helpful. If you are going the visit Teide, I think this is a perfect place to stay.

The beds were a little rustic. 2 twin beds pushed together do not = 1 king bed. Overall, the place could use a little updating. One thing - which I'm not sure if it is the fault of the resort or Booking.com - is that my prepayment of the stay through Booking.com did not seem to go through, and the front desk asked me to pay the full amount after I already paid Booking.com a few days earlier. A miscommunication, perhaps, but it did make the check out a bit stressful until the front desk acquiesced and said they would work it out with Booking.com.

The hotel gives the vibe of those old detective stories. The room we had was pretty big and has a balcony. It has everything we needed. The bathroom has strong water flow and consistant hot water supply. The breakfast was incredible! So many variations to choose from. The juicy and the fruits were delicious. We went to the restaurant for dinner and the food was fantastic! I don’t normally like house wine but the one they offered was excellent! The view was incredible! We arrived in the afternoon and went for the first cable car next morning, it gives us plenty of time to explore the area and enjoy ourselves without stress Will definitely stay here again if we are coming back!

The smell of the corridor, I think it’s from the old time when cigarettes were allowed and the smell got trapped in the carpet. But the rooms were fine. Your have to ask the receptionist to turn on sauna! And it’s inside the male changing room!

The location was incredible. The star gazing is like nothing I've seen before espcially seeing the moonrise over the mountains. The sunrise was so amazing with all the colours in the sky and seeing the sun hit each mountain and the volcano in turn. The hotel staff were friendly and so helpful. It really was a stay my family and I will never forget. Thank you.

The food in the restaurant was ok. It wasn't very hot and also not very suitable for anyone who is a fussy eater. But there is no other choice as you are so far from anywhere else! Breakfast was a bit better but expensive.

We came to climb the Teide mountain over nightm and the Location at the foot Mount is perfect for that and for other hikes as well. The reception staff were extremely nice - informative, helpful. Even joyful. The cleanliness of the room has exceeded any of our expectations. The food at the restaurant is good - though pricey.

The Cafeteria has relatively few options, so don't count on a heavy launch at the place. We didn't need breakfast as we had left every day early for the hikes - but I'm not sure if there is one.

It is absolutely amazing to step outside the hotel and immediately be surrounded by the Cañadas del Teide. The location is just perfect for the incredible hikes and vistas - or some star gazing at night. I fully recommend a stay for that alone, at least for a few days to do all the tours you want to do: Just pick up your backpack and go - long before any of the daily tourists arrive. The hotel itself is nice, with comfortable rooms, good water pressure and WiFi. The breakfast has a sizeable variety, including the option to have freshly made eggs, bacon, beans etc. (or get a big picnic pack instead, if you need to start early). The restaurant has a relatively small, but very good list of options for dinner.

It's very expensive - too expensive for what's provided in the hotel itself, but I feel one also pays for the incredible location. Shower/bathtub was surprisingly slippery.

Parador Paradise in the middle of the volcanic park. Unique and unforgettable. (well, we were there for the second time and we are coming back for more) The best location in Tenerife and probably in the whole Canaries. Exceptional food, fabulous dinner and rich breakfast, all local cuisine. Lovely warm pool with a view to El Teide, you should start your morning with a sunrise session. Friendly and helpful staff. Go out and check out the starry sky, take a walk, you feel like you are on Mars and not on Earth. Then sit by the fireplace and enjoy this paradise.

It’s hard to imagine a better location. Stunning landscapes all around and a good base for walking trails, both long and short. I loved my enclosed balcony with the comfortable chairs. The breakfast buffet selection was good and you have the option of a freshly cooked addition to this.

The small chairs in the bedroom were uncomfortable. Not everyone wants to watch TV while lying in bed. The selection of channels, audio and subtitles was Spanish only. If you’re a solo traveller, do all your food collection at the start of your breakfast. One of the staff started clearing my table when I got up to get coffee!

I stayed here as I wanted to do some astrophotography. And this place is *perfect* - a short walk across the road takes you to a viewpoint with great views to the west where I could spend the evening photographing. The hotel itself is lovely, comfortable rooms with all the usual facilities. The breakfast and restaurant were both appreciated (I had booked half board so these were included)

One of the mains electrical outlets in my room didn't work (where the kettle plugged in) so to make a hot drink I had to carry the kettle into the bathroom. A minor problem, and I mentioned it when I checked out so hopefully it's fixed now

Incredible location! Especially if you want to go hiking in the Teide park. We also loved the fireplace, sauna and swimming pool and how relaxed the staff were although we were caught in a snow storm. And again- location!!!

I can’t blame anyone as we were there in a huge snowstorm with very strong winds (up to 100 km/h) but if anything I would have liked if they hotel management would check the windows strength before storms as ours just burst open with the strong winds and we had to move to another room to sleep at 3 am because the window won’t stay closed!

Great location, public areas of the hotel lovely, big open fire in the lounge, double bedroom very good size and views of mountains. Reception staff very helpful at check-in and getting us a taxi for leaving. Bar staff lovely if a little slow to notice that you are waiting at the bar. If the food had been good I would've given a 10.

Food in restaurant - evening meal quality very poor and let's the hotel down. Staff don't speak much English so language barrier not good. I had the steak and couldn't get through to the waiter I wanted well done so gave up, it came very red, full of gristle & couldn't eat it, hubby had goat stew and it was full of fat & gristle again not nice. Staff didn't ask if all ok just took the full plates away. All the food was luke warm. Breakfast was different, really nice choices hot & cold, although again the hot food came almost cold. Need to add some international dishes rather than just sticking to traditional canarian cuisine.
