The amenities were good, social areas and bedroom were clean. Very good offering for breakfast with a selection of non dairy milks. Tea and coffee available all day free of charge. Lovely outdoor and seating areas everywhere.

Shower on ground floor no warm water let alone hot. Brown sofa next to sink is a problem area for people talking on their phones too early in the morning, right next to bedrooms. Perhaps there could be a consideration sign? Extra hooks in the showers would be really helpful for towels clothes and bags etc. Lighting in room was not great and there was no curtain for modesty

- bed frames aren’t very stable and creek constantly. - Not really the hostels fault but there was a guy masterbating in the dorm one of the nights. - A/C was loud

Gorgeous hostel, felt much more homely than other hostels in the area and the staff were really fun to be around. I really liked the hostel vibe here. Very clean, good bathrooms, never had to wait, nice decoration and good social activities: movie night with fresh popcorn. Curtains on beds, personal lights and chargers. Really cute rooms and social areas.

Some other guests were not great, in and out at all hours, always being heavy handed with the lockers in the night. The room would always smell reeeeally strong of weed and they always left the room in a mess and never said hello. They brought (who i can only assume to be) a homeless guy into the dorm with his mattress and I woke up to him sleeping on the floor next to my bunk. Can't imagine the hostel approved this though! I would book a female only dorm to avoid this.

Facilities were very modern, staff were awesome and super friendly, the free breakfast was a great bonus and actually nice (last place I stayed had breakfast and it was awful!) Appreciated all day access to free coffee, giant TV and looked like there was a PlayStation as well?! Location was handy being just a few mins walk from Central Station. Room was well equipped and nicely decorated. Disappointed the weather packed in on the day I could have used the pool! This was one of the nicest hostels I've every stayed at, I would happily stay here again, and probably will on my next trip over.

As most hostels are it was quite noisy, especially on the Saturday night. Mostly I was annoyed that my room backed onto a busy common area so I couldn't get away from noise in my room, and they played awful music loudly in the common areas in the evening on Saturday, which I didn't appreciate while I was getting ready to head to a metal gig lol. Also found the cleaning not quite up to par, I went into a shower as the cleaner walked out and somehow there was still hair everywhere!

Brisbane Quarters is one of the best hostels I have stayed in. The whole place was very clean and modern, and the bathrooms in particular were absolutely brilliant. The bed were comfortable and had privacy curtains, and the rest of the hostel had good facilitates, including washing rooms, a kitchen, and lounge area and a decent sized pool. Lockers are available in the rooms, as is air conditioning. The centre of the city is along a short walk away, and there are bus-stops nearby, as well lots of places to eat and drink.

The 4-bed dorms are a little small, not much room to move around or store things, especially when it is full. The locker are only big enough to hold a few items, and not big enough for a whole bag.

I've stayed at a lot of hospitals in at least 10 countries and this was hands down the best one I've stayed at. The staff is so nice and helpful, the included breakfast is really good, they give you free towels and blankets, they don't charge a key deposit, there's a pool, a gym, and comfy common areas. There's also a laundry room and detergent is included which is amazing! The bathrooms are clean, the kitchen has lots of utensils and they have seasonings and oil accessible for everyone to use for cooking. I stayed in the pods and it was extremely comfortable and private, with a dimmable light and charging ports. I love that you have storage in the pod right next to you so your stuff is completely safe at all times. The rooms had AC and lots of storage options for my stuff.

Lovely looking hostel, staff always super friendly, good breakfast (vegan options available), nice communal areas, clean, never have to wait for the bathroom. Super location right on the edge of the cbd so shops and cafes are less than 10 min walk, with bank 15/20 min. Buses and trains round the corner.

I've stayed before and had really spacious dorms, this one was pretty small especially as the steps to the door run between the bunk beds. It had a fridge in the room which was nice but I think the space would have been appreciated more. Also the bunk bed ladders are the worst design ever, no way to get in without bruising your shin as the ladder runs higher than the mattress which was pretty thin too.

It's near Queen Street, gift shops, various attractions, and exciting events. Traveling to the Gold Coast by train was a delightful experience.

While the pool could be larger and a bar fridge on each floor would be helpful, carrying a weather jacket is essential due to the unpredictable weather.

The hostel is really nice and very well located. Within a few minutes’ walk, you can reach some great spots in the city, as well as the central station. Since I stayed for two nights before heading to the airport, this was the main reason for my choice. Having breakfast included in the rate was one less thing to worry about, and the place has a great vibe. The common areas are also well-equipped to make you feel comfortable.

Personally, the fact that there were only USB ports by the beds was a downside for me. I think having a power outlet would be easier and more useful for different phone models and other devices like laptops that might need charging overnight. As I stayed in a top bunk, I particularly missed this added convenience due to the lack of a power outlet.

Best hostel we have ever stayed in. Right from the moment we arrived, the staff were so friendly and helpful, the room was clean, tidy and the bathrooms were close to our room. The free breakfast with our stay was delicious and a lovely surprise that helped fuel us for each of our days. The fridge was always stocked with milk and fresh water incase we wanted a tea or coffee throughout the day. The pool area was always clean. We loved that on one of our nights, the staff brought in free pizzas for everyone. The TV and PlayStation were an added bonus. Location was excellent. We will definitely be back, couldn’t rate it highly enough!☺️
