Beautiful setting. Free transfer to airport - 15 minutes. Nice pool. Pleasant staff.

Food for dinner is very poor - we ordered Pick Me delivery second evening. Not within easy walking distance to restaurants or groceries. First evening there was a noisy retirement event next to the pool and our room - singing/drumming, with no consideration for other guests. Second evening there was a 21st birthday event around the pool with loud music for a couple of hours, again with no consideration for other guests, so if you have an very early morning flight like we did, no chance for rest before hand due to noise.

We needed a hotel for 1 night and a day near the airport. I chose this hotel for the nice pool and garden area, to relax and the free airport pick up and drop off was very convenient . We arrived very late at night and the pick up was easy . The room was well equipt, with sliding doors to the beautiful grounds. We had our own lounge area in front of the room. The pool area is wonderful, big clean pool, enough sun loungers and towels. The grounds, garden is beautiful and quiet, lots of birds around. The breakfast was ok and the food in the restaurant is also OK. You can take a tuk tuk to Negombo town/ beach, about 20 minutes away. The staff is very nice and we could stay the whole day and evening after checking out of the room, our flight was late at night and we were taking to the airport on time with the free shuttle.

What we wanted was a place near the airport for our last night in sri lanka because we had an early flight home in the morning. What we got was exactly that. Plus we had a huge room right by the swimming pool, which was a nice thing on our way back, so we could enjoy some water and sun one last time. The fact that it does offer free airport drop off was really great. Transfer did work without any problems. Price was great too. We were more than satisfied.

We had absolutely nothing to complain. Maybe it is worth mentioning that the place is a little bit remote and it seemed like there was not much around. We did not care though.

Amazingly beautiful location amid a small forest area, only 20 minutes drive from the airport. A perfect place to stay in transit from or to the airport. Spacious large rooms with balcony, clean swimming pool, all basic amenities very religiously taken care of. They also provide one free pick up or drop at the airport. The property has a vast lush green garden with trees all around resonating the clear sound of nature. The staff are really helpful and welcoming, especially the Manager Mr Niroshan, Refad, and their new driver Pasindu. The WiFi network is pretty decent as compared to many other hotels across Sri Lanka.

Outstanding staff particularly the manager who kindly gave us a late check out and even offered that we could store our bags at the hotel while we went into the city for dinner before our flight. Due to a heavy thunderstorm and flooded roads, she arranged for the shuttle to be ready as soon as we got back to the hotel. Very much appreciated! Thank you, you have superb customer service and a lovely gentle and kind manner with guests. Breakfast waiter also so friendly and offered great service. Pool was perfect, kept very clean by pool man! Rooms comfortably spacious. Quiet location yet not far from the airport. Highly recommend.

Pool was amazing. Grounds were beautiful and green and interesting to walk around. An oasis in the airport district. Staff were smiling and obliging. Transfer was easy even though it was a late night flight. Balcony opened on to the pool and grounds. Lovely spot to read a book.

A little mould in the bathroom maybe to be expected in such a warm climate. However the bathroom facilities themselves were clean and up to date. Rooms are older style but massive. I especially liked the Mini Coopers dotted throughout the property.

The hotel felt more like a resort. It was so green, what with all the trees surrounding the property. Secluded from the busyness of the city life . We only stayed there for 1 night, but would have loved to spend few more days if not for our flight the next day. Loved how big the room was, as well as the bathroom. Special shout out to the old gentleman who was always at our service with a warm smile. Made sure we even had our breakfast before we left the next morning. He is definitely a wonderful plus to the hotel.

We stayed the first night and last night during our stay in Sri Lanka. The pick up and drop off at the airport was good and convenient. Our drop off was in the night and the picked us up on time. It’s about a 15 min drive. The staff is very nice. Diner has a small menu to choose from with is included. Also the breakfast is included. You have to pay for the drinks. The food is fine. The price and quality ratio is very good. We booked a 6p room with was a spacious room with 2 bathrooms. If we ever come back to Sri Lanka I will book this hotel again.

Everything about our two day stay at the Oreeka was beyond our expectation. From the complimentary airport shuttle to the hospitable welcome early in the morning. The customer service was impeccable and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate any need we had. The staff was caring and kind. Our room was clean, the bed comfortable, shower was good with hot water. The grounds of the hotel were serene and beautiful. The chef did a wonderful job with meals that were extremely affordable. Being from the USA, it would only be possible to get this type of customer service from a high end resort or hotel. We were so happy with our stay we booked a night for the end of trip. I would highly recommend the Orerka Hotel for your stay. Thank you to the beautiful staff for making the beginning of our stay in Sri Lanka perfect. Btw- the airport shuttle is a silver van with the hotel's name on the side.

They have a very nice surroundings and lots of greenery , coconut tree and cool temperature as well as an amazing pool. I stayed there while I am waiting for my flight in the evening. Food is tasty , very friendly staff is the benchmark of this property. for those who are looking for really relaxed and calm environment , this is the ideal place.

Around 8KM away from the BIA airport & bit distance , other than that everything else was perfect. I feel better doing some service of Room's AC units , as it was very low cooling process.
