The views , great spa area, steps to go for a swim in the lake , great outdoor seating and balcony. Staff great and helpful. Would recommend

The description on the booking site was totally different to the room we got …. Disappointing It sounded like an apartment in the outside building with kettle , washing machine and fire place . Unfortunately it had none of these . Would be nice to have a kettle and cups for a coffee . Didn’t like the extra charges for a bottle of water in the room . The hotel has a fridge in all rooms but it’s all chargeable even the water . I would stay again but in the main building with a lake view

Room was spacious. View from terrace of the lake was superb! Restaurant meals were tasty and affordable. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Location was ideal with the Schluch See village nearby as well as many other scenic villages of the Hoch Schwartzwald. The nearby RotHaus Brewery was fascinating!

Access road to hotel was grungy looking but not much can be done about that. Hotel should mention proximity to highway and to train tracks but stress the fact the traffic on the road dies down at night… and the train doesn’t run at night. The brand new windows (which can be opened for fresh air)in the hotel shut out exterior noise! For the price of the hotel some fixtures should be replaced ie. bedroom light fixtures, bathroom trash can. They should be better than what could be purchased at a “dollar store”!

Large spacious bedroom. Amazing bathroom with large shower. Huge patio deck. Wonderful lakeside setting. Ample parking area. Great restaurant facility with outdoor dining deck overlooking the lake. Quiet country setting. Very close to train station.

Signage at the access road off the main highway would make it easier for tourists to find the hotel.

Its location on the Schluchsee was perfect. There's a railroad and road directly beside the hotel but we didn't notice either of them. The view from room 22 and restaurant is lovely. Spending the evenings in the garden on the bank of the lake were wonderful. The waitress in the restaurant was top class (weekend 11./12. Aug).

We do not like carpets in hotel rooms. Otherwise, everything nearly perfect.

Location is brilliant and the area like beautiful. Got an upgrade next to reception which was highly appreciated bringing a dog. Restaurant food and wine experience was well balanced between quality and price.

The additional price for a dog is quite steep - €20 - no doubt the highest ever experienced

The Staff at Seehotel Hubertus is young, dynamic and super friendly. The hotel lies directly at the lake, the view is breathtaking. Train station is next to the hotel, which makes it easy to commute to pretty town of Schluchsee. Rooms are a little outdated but comfortable and very clean.

The picture of the terrace says it all. There was also a small beach and a paddle board to rent. It was a very lovely place to stay on a hot summer‘s day.

My daughter (allergic to various things) was sniffling all night in the room. Perhaps the carpet or perhaps a dog had stayed in this (spotlessly clean) room before?

Nice room with this little corner surrounded nu windows where we could dit and enjoy the sun set. Breakfast was good. Enough variations, option for fresh fruits.

The restaurant was open only on Sunday during our stay, not on Monday and Tuesday. Being there with the motor cycle made it difficult in the evening to get food. We could go out for diner but cannot enjoy a beer or a glass of wine being on 2 wheels. On top the terrass was closed even for the guests and that was a shame since the weather was great.

The hotel sits by Schluchsee and we have a very good view of the lake and the mountain in snowy or foggy weather. It is astonishingly beautiful. During our stay, we also used the breakfast and afternoon tea and cake there. The food, especially the cake, is delicious. The hotel staff treated us with care and patience. We also used the sauna in the hotel. It is definitely a good place to go in winter and in summer.

The hotel is unfortunately isolated from other restaurants and shops. During our stay, the hotel kitchen was closed due to Christmas break, so we had to go to restaurants that are miles away. The restaurants recommended by the hotel staff were all very nice. It is only a bit inconvenient that during winter times we cannot walk for long distances but had to take the hourly train or bi-hourly bus. We would recommend people to come by car here.

The location is dreamy and the hotel is straight out of a fairy tale. Room was spacious with great view. Staff was so accomodating. Spais very extensive with great facilities. Loved the atmosphere. I wil come back!
