Location & cleanliness

Bit of a walk from collecting keys to then getting to the property. Only 12 mins but after a 10min walk with suitcases from the station to collect keys and then the further walk to the property we were tired.

Great location in the heart of the historical area with side views of the Roman Theatre and Alcazabar and castle. Good access on foot to bars, restaurants, the Cathedral, Picasso gallery, the port and beach. The main railway and bus stations were walkable in 20+ mins. The immediate area had a nice buzz most of the day and then was mainly quiet after 11pm. The room was clean on arrival and the hosts had arranged for us to have a change of towels mid stay.

We didn't realise at the time of booking that the reception and key pickup was in a sister hotel which is a 12-15 minute walk from the apartment. This was only inconvenient when we arrived 10.30pm in pouring rain. The apartment is best suited to short stays, as there is no cleaning, towel or linen change except at extra cost. The room, whilst a good size overall, is a bit cramped beside the bed, and the 3 sets of French doors do not have balconies.

Great location, quiet apartment, light and airy. 3 huge windows with balconies. Kitchenette facilities and fridge to store own snacks and drinks. Great size.

Collecting keys from another location- this was only apparent after booking. As I arrived close to midnight I was worried, however the walk is just 10 minutes and felt safe. Holding deposit in case of room damage, again only made aware after booking. Apartment was a little cold however I managed to get AC to heat mode.

The location was so central but also quiet at night. Outdoor space to sit was appreciated and the view was lovely overlooking the alcazaba. 2 bedrooms and bathrooms on different levels. The beds are really comfortable.

Did not like that the one bedroom was open plan zero privacy from the kitchen/dining area. €150 deposit then finding the tv lopsided, table incredibly wobbly and bins all half broken made me slightly nervous.. Needs extra seating outside 2 'bedrooms' then only 2 outside seats. No kettle is always a miss if you not a coffee drinker.

Extremely helpful staff at the Soho Hotel reception.

The city turned off the water supply at 1am on the single night of my stay. I needed a shower (and a cup of tea) and so I had to contact Soho Hotel reception, repack my overnight things, get dressed again and head out back into the city for a taxi to the Hotel. Thankfully there was a spare room at the Soho Hotel. If there hadn't been I don't know what would have happened. I had to leave Malaga the next morning so there wasn't a lot of time for me to find alternative accommodation with water supply!

Lovely big apartment in an excellent location right near the Alcazaba, cathedral and general old part of Málaga.Staff were very friendly and helpful at the main hotel where we collected our key and kindly upgraded us to a bigger apartment.The actual apartment was in a block about 12 minutes from the main hotel so it is a bit of a walk.Overall a lovely stay.

Comfortable, well-furnished apartment in the most central location of Malaga's historic town center. The apartment was available for early check-in, which was a wonderful surprise, and the reception staff were extremely helpful and welcoming. The bed and pillows are very comfortable, which is not the case everywhere we've traveled, so it was a great aspect of our stay here. The AC units work great, shower has good pressure and heat, kitchenette is functional for basic needs. The location is directly in the center of the historic town, but on a small side street, so there is very little noise or foot traffic outside.

You have to pick up keys at the hotel location, which is a 10-minute walk from the apartments; self-check in would be a great feature in the future! There is a coffee machine, but no coffee pods provided, and we only stayed one night and didn't want to buy an entire pack, so we just didn't use the machine.

No kettle. Electric cooker was a little tricky to master. Bathroom a little small and difficult to manoevre in. Good wet-room style shower, but water tends to leak onto floor of bathroom. Location is in pedestrian zone, so you have to walk with your cases from nearest drop off - however this was communicated when booking, so was not a surprise, and worth it for the location.

First of all - location is amazing. Cannot get any better. Bed is comfortable, AC working, staff was very friendly. Apartament was clean, all good. Location is very central, but the place is quiet and calm. We were given a better room with an amazing view to the castle from the bed and a rooftop terrace.

Some small downsides - plumbing smell coming from the toilet. But it did not get over closed doors so no problem. Apartament was lacking some supplies like a sponge for dishes, toilet brush, there was no washing machine which we usually expect when renting an apartament. Nevertheless these were minor things and our stay was great!

This apartment is an excellent location, with views of the Castle, if you look out of the window. Ours had 3 large French Doors with Juliette balconies and was very bright and cool even without the air con on. It was very spacious, comfortable and relatively quiet, with plenty of bars, cafes and restaurant within easy walking distance. There was also a dining table with 4 chairs, a coffee table, TV and bed settee (which we didn't need to use). There was a small kitchen, with most things you need, such as coffee maker, microwave, toaster and twin hob. Spacious bathroom with a decent shower, toilet and basin. Overall a very good spacious apartment, with plenty of storage space, safe and comfortable.

There was no kettle, but you could use the coffee maker to heat water for tea or coffee. We were told it had a safe deposit box, but it didn't, however the door had 3, 5 lever locks, so very safe and secure.
