Good but needs to Open at 7:00am

Breakfast 7:30 a bit late. No tea or coffee in rooms

I have stayed here before as I like the location and I had a small double room which was very comfortable.

No foreign TV channels only Spanish and no TV guide via the remote.

The rooms were both fabulous and very large. The bathroom was large and nice as well.

Front desk staff was overwhelmed and a bit cranky.

The hotel exceeded out expectations. We stayed only for one night, but we would have loved to spend there more time. The staff was amazing - very friendly and helpful. Our room had a balcony with a view over the city. Room was very clean and spacious, beds were comfortable. Bathroom was modern. As we only had breakfast once, then I cannot say whether it varies from day to day, but there's nothing bad to say about the quality. Coffee was very good! Hotel is very central. It was very easy to reach the hotel from the airport as well. I would definitely recommend it and would stay there again.

Maybe a bit more variety for breakfast would be great, like something to create a salad.

I was on the top floor with a lovely balcony off my room. The hotel is located in a very prime location for the old city in Malaga and all the attractions are within easy walking distance for just about anybody. The area is not noisy after about 9 or 10 at night. The mini refrigerator was a bonus.

I did not expect to get a twin bed. it was comfortable but I am not used to it. The dining room did not seem to be open most of the time and had a sign to call if you wanted service. I did not want to call for service in an empty restaurant so ate out all of the time.

Excellent location right next to the old town and the Marina, not too far from the beach either. Many nice restaurants and most of Malaga attractions just a short walk away. No parking but you can park at the nearby garage and get a discount with a stamp from the reception. Modern bathrooms with rain shower and comfortable beds. Good air conditioning and a small fridge in the room. Wooden floors and no carpet, great news for allergic people. Breakfast was 10€ and definitely worth it. Fresh bread and pastries, fruit and fresh tomatoes, local cheese and ham, warm eggs, bacon and sausages, tortilla and much more! It's also served from 7.30-11.30 to match anyone's needs. All in all good value for the money.

The interior is a little bit outdated and one of the elevators was stopping with a 15cm step to the actual floor. Probably needs to be repaired. Parking facility is quite far but you can stop in front of the hotel to load bags etc.

location was perfect, very central to all amenities such as restaurants, tourist attractions and beach etc. Everywhere was very walkable. We chose the hotel because it is small and just off the main drag. The staff were all very polite and helpful. Good breakfast and the time span for breakfast was generous. We didn't use the restaurant as we chose to eat elsewhere each evening.

Late at night the local bars and restaurants would use the bottle banks which happened to be sited under our window so it was noisy. However, the bottle banks were moved away towards the end of our stay and it is possible the hotel had no control over the siting of these.

quite noisy outside but I would recommend it to family and friends 🧡 we payed for breakfast but on our last morning 97 Spanish tourists had arrived on a tour so hotel could have mentioned it to us to have breakfast earlier as the restaurant was not suitable for all these guests at the same time. We were leaving that morning so couldn't get our breakfast due to the chaos and ended up spoiling it for us as our taxi was booked for 930am.

Convenient, clean, spacious- this hotel was a good choice. Buffet breakfast was a worthy cost at 10 euros each morning; no need to wander around town to find coffee. (Although McDonald's is nearby. Ha!) Close to all the sites, we enjoyed just walking out of the hotel and right to all the things we needed. Fun city vibe at night with tapas bars and restaurants.

Hotel Don Curro discounts parking at "Plaza de la Marina"; aim your GPS for that location. Per day the cost including discount is 19.50 euros. It is confusing to drive in Malaga so know your destination in advance. I had asked for parking information when booking reservation, but got no response, so we had to choose a parking garage we thought was closest- which was not the right one. Dragged our luggage to the hotel then to learn we were at the wrong parking garage. Had the hotel management responded to my question when I made the reservation all this confusion could have been avoided. That being said, Plaza de la Marina is so convenient. Close to hotel is a ramp which takes you underground to the parking garage without having to cross the busy traffic street.

Excellent location in the old town of Malaga, just near the cathedral and harbour, with plenty of restaurants, bars etc nearby. Good breakfast. Comfortable bed in a pleasant room.

There was a lot of traffic in the area, although not so much in the street outside, but with the windows closed and the air conditioning on it was not a problem.
