We really liked the guy who worked in the bar with the tattoos! He was very friendly and the boys loved how he engaged with them. The pool was brilliant and loved the room service

We arrived at 9.30am and had to drop our bags as we got off the plane, came back to the hotel at 2pm and had to hang around in the foyer for an hour with two primary school kids who were good but had been up since 5am travelling so we were exhausted. Others seemed to get their room prior to 3pm while we had to wait right up until 3pm. I also found the corners of the room/bathroom to be dirty, like their are using a round head mop/vacuum. Otherwise pretty good, there is a fairly grumpy girl on reception too but maybe she was just having a bad day.

Was a beautiful stay and didn’t let down on the view of the river! The bed was soooo comfortable & cozy. The overall presentation of the room itself was clean and comfortable. Awesome room service selection and are not stingy on the servings so great value for the price 😊

My reason for booking View Hotel was solely in the title of its name the view. The view was beautiful but all the windows were dirty from the outside it really tainted what could’ve been an almost perfect review. It was smeared, not just average build up of dust but literal smears, watermarks and I swear there was a shoe print on the outside of the window, was really a let down for me.

We were pleasantly surprised with the room and the view we got, after booking last minute and at a cheaper rate. We could see both directions up the river, we loved sitting in the seats and watching the happenings of the river. It was certainly a high light for our kids. We all found the beds super comfy. The bathroom was so pretty and the towels provided were soft and very generous in size. The decor and styling of the entire place was beautiful. We will definitely be staying here again.

Only thing that could have made it even better would be a little more attention to dusting of the room and cleaning of the tile grout in the bathroom. However, it wasn't terrible and didn't affect our stay what so ever.

View Hotel has plenty of character. I enjoyed its ambience. I was on the 6th floor and my room had amazing views due to its abundance of windows. I ate in the restaurant and the meals were a but on the expensive side but that is to be expected in a 4 star hotel. The food was good but not exceptional. The pool was a lovely retreat, nice and clean. All in all it was a nice hotel to stay at.

When I booked this hotel I did not realise that there were not many places to eat close by. I know that there is public transport very close, but when you do not know the area it can be a little daunting.

Luggage storage was handy! Staff were friendly! Rooms were 9/10 tidy! Could use some maintenance with the bathroom . View was great! Uber eats found us great!

Check in time was 3pm and we had an earlier flight so that was a bit inconvenient but we did get to check out at 11am! The spa didn’t look the cleanest, but I saw many people go in. Not a negative but a suggestion, putting a few pairs of cutlery in each room would be great!

Clean, comfortable and stylish room. Well maintained building and facilities. Excellent quality meal at restaurant. Loved short ride to the airport (one-way taxi ride approximately AUD40 - 45) . Lovely staff.

Two things could be improved: given the pricey room rates, there should be complimentary welcome water in the rooms. And given that not all people come in the same height, the unusually tall kids' gate lock for access to the pool should be accessible to people shorter than 5'2.

Clean and comfortable room. Bed was comfortable. Restaurant and bar are lovely. Top quality meals. All staff were lovely. Close to the Albion Park raceway, mostly free entry for a good afternoon of trots or dog racing. Also close to the Breakfast Creek Hotel is in easy walking distance, I'd recommend booking as it gets really busy. Lovely accommodation.

Nothing except the print on the wall that has half hidden skulls and faces in it. A bit creepy but not a deal breaker for us.

Rooms were comfortable and quiet. Location is great. View was beautiful. Pool area was great.

No prices for mini bar food (and mini bar was so full you could barely fit your own items in the fridge). Spa heater wasn't working. Sauna room/towel area was very messy and had towels all over the floor (my family picked them all up and placed them in the basket provided so nobody tripped on them). Staff didn't explain they were taking a $200 additional deposit (only asked for card and licence, didn't say what they were charging).

Had a heratige mannor feel with all modern facilities. No need to leave for a day out as everything you need is right at your fingertips when staying at View.

Room cleaner tried to accuse us of smoking in the room. None of us are smokers and wouldn't smoke in a closed up room that I have to sleep in if I was a smoker. Did notice a peculiar smell when first arrived. However, it was more a "musty" smell. This room had no opening windows, and I did wonder if smell was left from previous visitor. Beautiful bathroom. However, fresh mould growing in grout of shower that could be scratched off with finger nail, therefore, could easily be removed with cleaning products. My youngest son is allergic to moulds, so did not risk using shower during our stay.

Loved the room. It was huge and the bed was huge and super comfy. The room was made up every day and that's now not the norm, so was pleasantly surprised. Compared to other places I've stayed at for the same price this really was luxurious.

There's no self check out facilities. There's no key drop facility. Had to wait a few minutes until the desk clerk came back. Having to pay for parking. It's not clear up front when you're booking this is not included in the price.
