Hotel staff were fabulous, great communicators and service. Room had a great view and was clean, well-appointed and lovely and quiet. James St location was awesome, so close to cafes and the shopping precinct, and only a short walk to both the Riverside walk tracks and the fun of Ann St. As an added bonus, we had visited for our anniversary and the staff were very thoughtful. When we entered our room we were surprised by balloons, brownies with candles and a light up sign wishing us a happy anniversary, very kind.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Sage Hotel on James Street in Brisbane, and I must say it was a truly delightful experience. From the moment I walked through the doors, I was greeted with warm and friendly smiles from the staff, who made me feel right at home. The hotel itself is beautifully designed, with a modern and stylish decor that exudes elegance and sophistication. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and impeccably clean, providing a serene and tranquil environment for a restful night's sleep. The luxurious amenities, such as the plush bedding and stylish bathroom fixtures, added an extra touch of indulgence to my stay. One of the highlights of my stay was the exceptional service provided by the hotel staff. They were attentive, professional, and went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of my stay was perfect. Whether it was recommending local attractions, arranging transportation, or fulfilling any special requests, they were always willing to assist with a smile. The location of the Sage Hotel is also a major plus. Situated on James Street, it is surrounded by a vibrant and trendy neighborhood filled with boutique shops, art galleries, and charming cafes. Exploring the area was a delight, and I was spoiled for choice when it came to dining options. Overall, my experience at the Sage Hotel on James Street was nothing short of exceptional. From the stylish and comfortable rooms to the outstanding service and prime location, it truly exceeded my expectations. Location was great with lots of eating out options in close proximity. Retail shopping choices was also a pleasant surprise. Our room the Deluxe King was great and the bed was very comfortable. Reallly enjoyed the balcony for sitting out and the views.

Every aspect of our stay was most enjoyable. We can’t think of any obvious improvements. Your reception staff were friendly and always ready to help. Our only surprise when reviewing online comments from other guests was the the lack of reviews from guests staying for more than a couple of days. Sage is great place to stay regardless of the length of your stay.

Sage Hotel is located at a very nice district in Brisbane. There are nice bakery and cafe along the street. The street is full of nice shop and we enjoy walking around the street and explore local culture. Goodies and comfy bed are provided to the pet for pet friendly room.

The pet room is located at ground floor inner section where there is no outside view. However the little balcony is a nice substitutes. Parking can be challenging and the overnight parking is not very cheap. Free parking could be found for few streets away from the hotel.

Good location for us having a conference just down the road. Nice clean rooms. very friendly staff. nice coffee in the room

The cost was exorbitant. Twice the price of any other weekend, and we found out this was due to the Pink concert being on in Brisbane that weekend. We weren’t going to the Pink concert but were there for a conference so basically had to pay crazy amounts for a room. it’s a shame that hotels profiteer of this and exploit people and charge twice the amount. it’s unnecessary

Love the location and contemporary feel of the hotel.

Housekeeping were not always completely attentive to cleanliness off the room. I stayed 3 weeks, and had to ask to have the room fully vacuumed half way through. They also had no Kleenex/tissues for 3 days. I also didn’t like that I was disturbed 3 times in the afternoon despite clearly having the do not disturb sign out. One time, despite saying I was in my pajamas, the staff member insisted they come into my room to place signage for meal ordering. This was not ok.

After a slightly annoying start, all turned out great. Hats off to Ian for all his efforts and his attention to detail he showed real professionalism and restored the idea that customer service does still exists.

The hotel should warn people in rooms close to the club next door that they may not get any rest.

Perfect location for us near bars and restaurants, but not too loud. Fun bar right next door, and a bottle shop, CBD within easy walking distance, and fun residential neighborhood to walk through. Also very close to Brunswick Mall.

The roon could have been a little cleaner, the bed is on wheels and moves around without being able to lock the wheels. There was a spider in the bathroom which caused some anxiety. The key cards get demagnitized easily which is a little annoying.

Property had great street frontage, and was handy to the pub next door for drinks and meals. Loved the supplied toiletries, they're a favourite brand when travelling.

Comforter had some questionable stains on it. Bit out of the way if you're wanting to be close to the city. Unfortunately we were woken early by the construction site across the road.

The staff were awesome. Great vicinity of good quality eateries to suit all budgets, easily walkable to the office on Warner street.

The room could have been cleaner. There was some dust on the lesser used shelves that I use to throw things that I don’t need and the bathroom could have been detailed more on the floor in the corners. Neither of these were even that bad that I called it out to reception, but thought I would mention as a point of improvement.
