Lovely big rooms with nice layout, clean and very comfortable. Good aircon and provide 2 bottles of water each day and can refill downstairs. Replenish toiletries each day so good if you’re travelling light. In the centre of the old town so a great base for a stay in Chiang Mai. The staff were friendly and helpful. They have loads of info on tours and activities, we used a travel agent in the old town (would recommend as they actually gave us a better price than if we booked ourselves) but really helpful to get an idea of what you want to do. The breakfast was ok, but there are loads of great little cafes in town. Breakfast was convenient when we were getting picked up for day trips. Would recommend Estia and would stay here again.

The pool area has been upgraded since the photos and felt really relaxing, like a jungle paradise. The breakfast was decent but a little limited. We liked to take our breakfast outside to eat in the sun because the breakfast room felt a little dark. The location is great and the room was spacious. It was very quiet at night.

Our room was a little dark because the bathroom was on the window side. The WiFi passport has to be entered every time (and wasn’t an easy to remember password). There’s no convenience store nearby but the hotel was water and drinks for sale for a cheap price. We would have loved to have been able to order some fun drinks to have by the pool too!

Staff, always helpful, polite and smiling. This was my 4th time in Chiang Mai, but staff was extra nice. Breakfast was fairly good with at least one new meal for 3 days of our stay.

Cleanliness, like in many places in Thailand or lack thereof. Especially in bathroom. Hot water wasn't always as hot as I would like and with more time you spend there - it got colder despite being instant heater. Also what might be important to some people - AC is directly opposite of the bed. So if you're using it - it blows directly to you.

The staff are all fantastic! They're all very friendly and always anxious to be helpful. The facilities were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was adjusted for us so we could eat before leaving on our 7:00am tours. We booked 2 tours directly from the hotel for a reasonable price and were very satisfied with both. The location in the old city is very convenient and quiet. I will happily return if I go back to Chiang Mai.

The pool is small, but clean and ok. The breakfast is a little basic, but met my expectations.

Breakfast room was a little cramped especially early in the morning as all travellers who were going on tours would descend at the same time and there was little room to move. Different cultures tended to dominate and their expectations doninated over other more polite cultures. Staff in the breakfast room and at the reception as well has housing keeping staff were very pleasant and polite. Rooms were cean and the bathroom was also clean. Good hot water. Thehotel had renovations and they provided adequate notifications around the hotel and on their website. However, the noise did not disturb us much. The pool though small was adequate and well shaded from the very hot sun.

Breakfast could have been better.

for me the location was ideal. in the middle of the old town and an easy walk anywhere. good food around every corner, literally. The room was big and clean and the staff did a good job cleaning up each day. Always appreciated having the water replenished

I'm happy that included breakfast with my room for simple simplicity. However the selection was poor. Scrambled eggs and cold fried eggs each morning along with sausages/hot dogs and some kind of square sliced ham. The fruit was normally watermelon (good) and dragon fruit (not interesting to me) on the last day there was mango which was a nice surprise. I think given the number of guests they could add a solid Thai option. I certainly didn't come to Thailand to eat western food. Lastly, I wish there was a comfortable chair in the room to relax and watch TV or read instead of lying on the bed. The room is certainly big enough for that.

-Location Just walking distance to Sunday market , restaurant and temple . Very good location. Although there are few issues with staff competencies and breakfast arrangements, still nice hotel to stay at.

-Staff are not well equipped with reception management (may be only some of them) -Breakfast Breakfast time starts at 7am but they are not ready with most of main dishes (not one day but my entire 3 days stayed). Therefore, breakfast area becomes unnecessary crowded as we need to wait for the food to be ready. Not much choice but it’s ok with hotel rate that you’re paying for.

Location was very good! It was very centralised, with 1-2 mins walk from Sunday walking street. The rates were very good, staff were nice, beds were comfortable & rooms were clean. Our family room was spacious (2 bedrooms & living room), lots of space for the family & i really appreciate that there were mini fridges in both rooms. It was my dad's birthday, i expected (at most) a little cake from the hotel but they also included a card & a little room decoration! Overall, they did beyond our expectation!.

There were a little stairs to climb which wasn't too convenient for my elderly parents with kneecap issues but it wouldnt be a problem if you have no leg/knee issues. The breakfast was at most average, but at the rates they're charging, breakfast was really a bonus. Swimming pool was small but clean. As a chinese, i didnt like the room configuration: Main bedroom had 2 mirrors facing each other & the beds (our feet) were facing the room doors. Our bedroom was right beside the emergency exit stairs. The other room had 1 bed facing door, another bed facing mirror. IYKYK

Very well located right in the city center. We stayed in the two bedroom suite and absolutely loved the size of the whole apartment and the fact that we even had a living room. The people working there were very nice and helpful. I noticed that many people complained about the breakfast, which I cannot really agree with. It's true that they offer the same things every day but I think they have quite a good selection: cereal, fruits, scrambled eggs, sunnyside up eggs, sausages, toast with jam and one rather traditional dish and on one day they also had pancakes. I think you cannot expect a much bigger selection than that considering that this is not a 5 star hotel. There are plenty of great breakfast places around in case you feel like eating something else one morning (Fern Forest, Zohng Coffee ro only name a few). I also loved the fact that it's located in one of the side street because that way it was very quite. The pool is small but clean and it does what it's supposed to - cool you down. I can highly recommend this place, especially for families.

Everything was perfect, close to everywhere, with super nice, helpful, and friendly staff, and a complete breakfast. This was my favorite place during my whole stay in Thailand. The room where we stayed was kind of big with a lovely Asian Japanese style, in my opinion. There was nothing to complain about regarding cleanliness, and they replaced our bottles of water and towels if needed, with amazing daily service. In the lobby, they helped me book activities during our stay, and the recommendations for tours were accurate and amazing. This place exceeded my expectations for sure.

I wish I could stay more there
