The location - located in old city it’s a 1 min walk to the gorgeous temple and the Sunday night market. Tons of trendy coffee shops and great restaurants nearby, as well as 7-11. A quick Grab/Bolt to the airport as well. If you are looking for a quiet area that’s walkable but still has great accommodations nearby, this is it. Service- friendly and polite staff. They were very attentive and greeted us every single time. Such a great experience. Room/Building - absolutely loved everything. From the characteristic charm, high ceilings, open pool/restaurant area. We fell in love with this place. Overall, would highly recommend 99 Hotel while you are staying in Chiang Mai.

Location was great with lots of restaurants, cafes, and attractions within walking distance. It is located within the old town square so most tours you book will pick you up at the hotel at no cost. Hotel staff was very nice and accommodating.

Hotel rooms are definitely well used with lots of random scuffs on the walls, etc., so it could probably use a fresh coat of paint or some updates. Pool is very small and basically in the lobby which is not an ideal set up.

The layout of my room was weird but in a good way. I liked it. You could walk in a circle from the bed to the bathroom to the balcony and back to the bed. The bed was very comfortable and I loved that the shower was semi-open air. There is no full roof on the bathroom. I think that is really cool. Plus the staff was super friendly and nice. Will definetly stay here again

The shower was usually either freezing cold or scorching hot and you had no real control when the temperature change happened so you just turned on the shower and hoped for the best. Also they still use actual keys with a lumpy block attached to it. I always prefer keycards

The location was good. The facilities were also great! The staff was friendly and helpful. We scheduled a taxi with the hotel to the airport and everything went as planned. The hotel also had a laundry room which was great to wash our clothes in the middle of the trip.

The decor is very chic and vintage. The rooms are big and clean. Got a small pool too with gym and work room. The staff is on the desk 24/7 so our early check out was a breeze. Staff are always polite and willing to help. And the location is very close to all the temples and facilities. The sunday market starts 1 minute walk from the hotel. hotel is next to tour store where we booked elephant and rafting tour. 24hr laundry and 7/11 1 minute walk too.

my second time staying here. I traveled with my mother here last year so this year I came back to Chiang Mai and immediately secured a one-week stay. The hotel is decent in a great location withing the old city walls. it's close enough to Tha Phae Walking night market and not too far from the hip Ninman area. The superior rooms were not the most spacious for a week's stay but you are paying the affordable price. The staffs were sweet especially the lady that is always smiling from ear to ear ( sorry I forgot your name!). Will definitely miss this place and the trip.

The location is absolutely perfect, it’s in old town and everything is in walking distance. The lady for booking tours and attractions was so sweet, I did pretty much all the sightseeing tours with this hotel. The staff are super friendly and accommodating

The WiFi is a bit slow and it disconnects frequently. The curtains in my room were quite light and during the day I would get so much sunlight especially in the morning which disrupted my sleep, would have preferred blackout curtains also the housekeeping staff in the morning are a tiny bit noisy so it wasn’t very relaxing sleeping in, even on vacation I was waking up at 7:30am

The room is beautifully decorated and absolutely huge. The high ceilings, balcony, living room area and outdoor spa made us feel like extra special. It was so nice to have a gym and lovely pool area to relax in afterwards. The views of sunrise/sunset from the balcony were magical. The room cleaning was exceptional. Unbeatable location in a quiet and clean area near markets, local restaurants and cafes. 99 The Gallery has been our favourite place to stay on our 3 months in SE Asia so far.

The wifi is a little unreliable making you log in multiples times throughout the day. Not a deal breaker but more something that was noticeable.

I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel. It is a very well kept, modern and an incredibly comfortable hotel in a great location. The bed was by far one of the most comfortable hotel beds I’ve ever slept in and the addition of the bed being a four poster bed in the centre of the room was perfect. The pillows were incredible - I wanted to take them home with me. The room had all required amenities and was serviced daily to a very high standard. I looooooved the outside bathtub and shower. I love Chiang Mai anyway, but even if I didn’t, I would come back just to stay at this hotel. Thank you 99 The Gallery for a wonderful stay - I can’t wait to return.

I loved everything about this property!

The Deluxe Room (room 402) was gorgeous, high ceilings, old black oak furniture, outside shower & bath. The decoration reminded me of those antique Japanese movies, which I love! The staff was lovely, polite and helpful from minute 1, always trying to help. Location unbeatable, right in the middle of Chaing Mai, 7 Eleven 5 min walk, around the corner you have temples, cafes, Boots, you call it! The hotel has a lovely decoration and the location can’t get any better.

Air conditioner was old so we had some issues with it during our stay and we didn’t want to complain or make a big issue out of it to the reception because they have enough things to deal with! In general it looks a bit old, but we can’t complain as we really liked it, but some people may call this “poor maintenance”
