The hotel is located in a very convenient area. The rooms were generally clean, and the staff was really welcoming and nice. The rooms were very spacious, providing all the space we needed. Additionally, there is a shopping center right near the hotel, which is really good!

The first thing I did not like so much was that you need to request room cleaning by 11 o'clock in the morning. I understand that it is the hotel policy, but there were days when we forgot or overslept, and then we found ourselves without the option to have our room cleaned. The second thing I did not like much is the additional charge for parking. I can understand that for guests staying just one night, it makes sense to charge for parking. However, since we stayed for 7 nights, it would have been nice if they allowed guests with longer stays, who are already paying a significant amount, to park their cars for free. Interestingly, there is a free parking lot in the shopping center just a minute's walk away.

Very convenient location, in a lovely area. Lovely big bed in a spacious room. The cafe near reception was great particularly as the drinks making facilities in the room weren’t great.

The door to the room needs better light insulation as the lights in the corridor shone through the gaps in between the door its frame all night, which kept me awake. An alternative would be to turn the lights off in the corridor at night or put motion sensors to control the lights coming on. The drinks making machine in the room was inadequate. A simple kettle for boiling water for drinks would be better.

Convenient, clean, dog friendly

The hotel has marked certain areas along the outside wall of the hotel as no-parking areas but does not enforce such policy against the guests who park there. This makes it very difficult for the guests parked in the adjacent designated pull-in parking areas to safely back out of their parking spots because the improperly parked vehicles are too close behind the designated pull-in parking spots. We complained a couple of times to the front desk but as the day went on there were more and more cars parked in the no parking areas against the outside wall of the hotel.

The room was very large-premium King! The bed was comfortable as being just right in firmness! Plenty of plugs and charger ports located beside bed! Large TV , easy to navigate! Good temperature control with wuiet heater/fan! Staff courteous and attentive, ie requested shower caps and they were brought to room very quickly! Nice refrig and microwave!

The shower is not comfortable with its rain shower. Prefer shower that can be hand held. All showers should have safety bars whether handicapped or not! Shower doors better than just a partial glass wall. Need free parking for guests. Need more than one luggage caddy. A brief brochure about room and hotel, hrs for bistro, how to's for TV, list of surrounding restaurants and shops etc. We were in ground floor and people above us were playing loud music past 12 AM. No brochure so did not know what the quiet hours were!

Quiet, scenic and convenient location. Easy access to freeway and shops for basics. Room window opened up to parking lot but to Mountain View as well (you can literally slide open the window enough to gauge the weather). Small property with appropriate sized pool (I didn’t have time to swim, but there was plenty of sun shining into the property to work on the farmers tan). Friendly and obliging staff. Good interior seating areas with a small cafe offering a sample of coffees, pastries and basic sandwiches.

Elevator was out the last day.

Location is great - walking distance to many places and 20-min driving distance to the beach. the room was big and clean. I like that the property has a pool and everything looked well maintained. A lot of people with dogs - I love pet friendly hotels.

the pillows - very uncomfortable. the bathroom door was squeaking loudly, the shower started dripping from time to time durning the night. parking at the property can be challenging- even if charged for parking, there are not enough parking spaces to accommodate all the cars, and other guests were parked between the spots…

The front desk staff were very nice, helpful and accommodated my late check out request as well as my request to have a room away from the freeway. The super comfortable bed with nice pillows and linens were my fave things about the room. Would return in the future if I’m ever in town again. Thank you.

The guests making noise in the hallway early in the morning - not the hotels fault though!

Extraordinarily calm, polite, efficient, wonderful staff who handled dozens & dozens of frazzled, stressed, shell shocked fire evacuees with care and empathy and professionalism. Truly EXCEPTIONAL service on all levels. Clean, roomy, quiet (even on the freeway side) rooms with elegant simplicity in the details & amenities.

The room was recently updated - it was modern, had a cool sofa, a small table with chairs, and a separate nook for the fridge and coffee maker when you first enter the room. Overall, it was a good setup. In terms of the location in Calabasas, if you want to walk to dinner in the downtown area, it's the perfect place to stay. It's basically in Old Town. You can also walk to the shopping areas just up the street on both side of the road. The staff at the hotel are very friendly and accommodating.

I didn't like paying for parking, that our in-room coffee maker wasn't working so we had to buy coffee for $5 a cup in the lobby. But, it seems like every hotel in California gets you on parking regardless of where it's located.

I love how friendly staff was very attentive. I was able to check in early with no hassle.

The water pressure in our room was very disappointing along with the showerhead. It was very dirty like dried up water stain. Definitely needs to be delime cleaned or replaced because there wasn’t water coming out of some of the holes in the showerhead that was the huge problem.
