The staff are very friendly I encounters with Jack pia Bella all three went out of the way to help me and anything anyway I needed and they know all the locations for attractions around the area very informational but definitely recommend this place very clean you're very nice staff ing I would definitely recommend this place to anybody who's interested in visiting Encinitas

I don't think I came across anything that I was disinterested in or didn't like

The rooms are large and you will more likely than not to get two king size beds. That is my experience each time. The live-in managers are accommodating and cordial. The hotel is set far enough away from the train tracks so you barely here the train when it passes. The room's window and door are open when empty so you can be certain that the air is fresh when you walk in. I've stayed at other hotels that don't do this and you can smell left over dinners or smoke or cleaning products.

Bathroom decor is dated, but for the price, this is negligible. I would suggest not getting a room that has an adjoining room access if you don't need one. The doors are thin and it is very easy to hear the occupants on the other side.

This was a nice place for one night stay. The pictures make it look lots nicer. But I must say that it was clean, quiet, close to walkable restaurants and as I heard, 15 minute walk to the beach. It was simply a nice quiet place with some amenities (near restaurants). Nothing fancy, but certainly adequate.

Staff was professional (meaning they did their job - checked us in), but not friendly at all. I don't think he even smiled. The rating may have changed a bit if there was some welcoming or friendliness.

Facilities need an upgrade - outside chairs rusted, inside room furniture in need of repair, bathtub needs rubber safety bathmat, room carpet needs cleaning.

Short 1 night stay, Rodeway Inn worked perfect for me. Clean, large room, hot shower, great help at front desk even though I checked in late. Even better are all of the coffee/drink, breakfast, and eating places right there at Leucadia Beach. I had a nice morning walk to Grandview Beach and back, after grabbing a nearby coffee.

Nothing. All was great. I got a great deal staying here on a Sat night and had made a late reservation during summer busy season.

Location and value and very attentive staff! There were a lot of power outlets for charging devices conveniently located around the room!

The power outlet at the sink didn't work, but we just didn't use the hair dryer....

The location was amazing, Fish 101 next door was delicious, and it was only 10 minutes from LegoLand. They let us check in late after the park closed and my sitter cancelled, they didn't charge extra for adding my two year old. Plenty of parking and the place was very clean.

The room was a little loud. My door was missing some insulation so a little light came in after hours. The room was a little run down but nothing serious (IE old faux silver rings in the drains, old bed covers, it really have off a 90s vibe.

The bed was very very comfortable and so were the pillows. I liked the fact the room has carpet. It was clean as was everything in the room. Mini fridge is always good. Staff was accommodating and friendly. I'm quite pleased with my stay here. The heating unit was easy to use and even though it was very cold here the room stayed warm and I hardly used it.

Coffee!!!! Need a coffeemaker in the room. Coffee is like water - a necessity.

The overall experience was really good. The staff was friendly and helpful. I loved the way that housekeeping brought me some fresh towels during my stay. that was great.

There was nothing that I observed that was not good

Loved everything. The room was very nice with a mini fridge and microwave. The rooms/bathroom was clean and we were provided with fresh towels daily which was really nice! Beds were comfy and the pillows were too. The location is perfection and in close proximity to anything and everything the area has to offer. The owner was very friendly and helpful also.

Parking was a bit tight and the rooms are definitely a bit dated.
