We were 2 adults and a toddler, and we stayed here for 6 nights. Check in: Smooth and easy. We didn't spend more than 5 minutes. Parking: At 20$ a day, it seemed pricey, but since we didn't drive, we utilized the facility to its fullest. Lobby: A library and village entrance make up the lobby, as well as a barbecue area. Misc: There is a play area for toddlers, a gym, pool, and hot tub accessible on level P. The hot tub had 2 divisions, one receiving water in the form of a waterfall, and the temperature was perfect. We didn't use the pool since it was a bit cold and it was a rainy day. Room: We booked a 1 bedroom suite. The renovations seemed recent throughout. The kitchen was stocked with some basic kitchenware and came with dishwasher pods. The washroom was extremely clean and had all toiletries available. There are 2 doors, one of which doesn't have a lock. There is also an ensuite laundry, enough for light loads and 2 detergent pouches were given. The living area had a comfortable sofa that transformed into a bed (strap is behind the middle upright cushion), and a door to peek into the village, as well as a balcony to take in the entire view. The TV didn't have Youtube or Netflix (not a smart TV), and had some basic channels. The bedroom had a comfortable king bed, decent closet and drawer space, TV inside the cabinet, and heating controls on the wall.

There is a hint of disinterest from the staff when they realize you don't speak English (you know, with the village being a tourist attraction and all), or (and this is just my impression) don't look a certain way that they expect, but once they saw we spoke well, and we knew what we were expecting, we received a much better tone and service. While that's highly incidental, this place had everything, and we would definitely stay here again. If you're not driving around, staying inside the village is the way to go.

Location of Sommet des Neiges is ideal . Ski lockers on the lower level walk out at the base of the Gondola. Outdoor hot tubs were large but could have been hotter. Room's are newly decorated and clean. The primary bedroom's shower should be bigger, but otherwise very nicely appointed.

The shower in the primary bedroom's bathroom was quite small. Would have been better to make a large walk-in shower and skip the large tub.

Both concierges were fabulous, room was gorgeous, location could not be better, common areas were beautiful. Room service does a great job at cleaning the room before guests arrive. Bravo to all and thank you!!!

Booking.com is not clear on whether we get room service during our stay or just to clean up before and after. Either is fine but it's always nice to know ahead of time if it is only before and after our stay - like it was in this case..

Very cean. Room was well renovated and equiped. Location is ideal, right on the mountain. Underground parking is a bonus.

The spa was out of order. Would have been nice to have known in advance seeing it was a feature we were looking forward to. Room service was not available. Hotel undergoing renovation, but was not that much of an inconvenient. Price was high considering no extra services/amenities expected in a hotel.

Location of the hotel is fantastic. Very close to all the attractions, but not in a very noisy place. Beds are super-comfortable, the best I have ever had in hotels in Canada. Hotel is spotless. People at the reception are very friendly and helpful. The kitchen has absolutely everything, including dishwasher. The pool is big enough and the hot tub is spacious and very nice. I had a great stay and will be back for sure!

Convenient ski in/out, ski storage, ski valet, well maintained slopes. Little town was very nice and good restaurants were easily found in town and just outside.

More gondolas needed or covered lifts

Loved the location! Our room was on the end with a balcony overlooking the pedestrian village. Perfect! The room was beautiful, and the hotel had an Old World charm to it. Staff were very pleasant. Look forward to returning.

Our second stay here, and it works well for us. It is at the top of the pedestrian village, meaning that the starting point for many of the attractions is nearby.

Hotel does not have a restaurant, while nearby restaurants are crowded, rushed and loud at supper. Free wifi is very slow - I clocked the download speed at 5 mbps.

The facilities were a bit dated, however they were very well maintained with certain aspects thoughtfully updated, like our room kitchen. The entire resort and village were very charming, with an old world feel. It felt very quaint with a broad variety of food and activities. We had our young children with us, and the compact village was a major amenity!

The room was spacious and nicely appointed. There was some dust collecting in the hallway.

I was disappointed that there was not place to get coffee/breakfast in the resort.
