Great hotel, one of the few truly 5 stars hotels in Egypt. Nice room, ours was on the top floor with beautiful Nubian style ceilings. Staff were friendly and attentive. Breakfast buffet was great in quality and variety and the restaurant had a lovely outdoor seating area.

Knocked a point from this hotel because there were several geckos in the room, while this is due to the nature of the area it may be a problem to some guests, and during our 2 day stay no one answered our calls to room service, however; we got what we needed by calling the reception.

The food was delicious and tasty. The receptionist, Ahmed, was very helpful and welcoming. He provided an excellent and thorough explanation of the services and information

The room cleaning service was mediocre. Although the bedding was clean and new, when we entered the room, the surfaces were dusty. The housekeeping service did not come in the morning on its own, despite us activating the "request cleaning" sign, and we had to call the reception to send the cleaners. The service at the swimming pools was very poor and slow; you might have to wait a while to find someone to assist you with towels or opening umbrellas. On multiple occasions, I had to handle things myself due to the absence of staff. The children's play area was insufficient, with few games, and overall, I believe the hotel is not child- or family-friendly.

Nice hotel, breakfast, room, pool and beach all perfect. El gouna is a super place to go and Steigenberger is what we see the best option around the city Simply take a tuc tuc for €0.30 to go around el Gouna. Steigenberger felt save and has if you like it everything you need for a super Holiday

2 small improvements possible 1) a lot of services are offered by external sales people. Around 5-10 people will bother you when you almost sleeping around the pool. Also the services they offer are almost double the price then when you book them online or in Down Town El Gouna. 2) the hotel restaurant is super expensive. €85 p.p. Going to down town again you have a luxury dinner for €25p.p so a bit overdone by Steigenbergers pricing. Room and all the rest price quality is in balance

Amazing hotel. We stayed in a suite and the room was spacious and tastefully decorated with lovely views over the golf course. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was incredible (we were half board and were never disappointed, so much choice and it was all delicious). I couldn’t fault the hotel or it’s staff.

Difficult to mention all positives of the hotel. Starting with location and security, from welcomnes at the doors to all staff around the hotel - cleaners, lifeguards, restaurant staff. All have been very pokite and open to help and make our stay amazing. And the restaurant food, every night different topic, lots to chose from and catering for all tastes. Specific mention to one of their swimming pool/boat personnel - Tarek, who was making sure we always felt good! The salty lagoon around the hotel combined with the 2 swimming pools provide good variety for all tastes. Located just 1.5 euro from downtown and euro from the marina by TucTuc or Uber

The entertainment program was not the best and on the Arab nights dinner, the performance stopped around 19:30-20:00 when people were just going for dinner.

I am writing to express my utmost satisfaction with my recent stay at the Steigenberger golf resort El Gouna ,Having visited many countries and stayed in numerous hotels, I can confidently say that Steigenberger stands out as one of the best hotels in the world. Everything about my stay was perfect—from the hospitality to the restaurants, the attentiveness of the staff, and the impeccable home services. The level of care and detail provided truly sets this hotel apart. I highly recommend Steigenberger Hotel to anyone looking for an unbelievable vacation experience. It exceeded all my expectations, and I look forward to staying there again.

Everything is perfect

We had an absolutely amazing time at this beautiful hotel. The rooms were spacious and spotless, with great décor. The breakfast buffet was delicious and wide range of food and a huge variety of options! The staff were attentive and went out of their way to ensure that we were comfortable.m. The only disappointing thing was that the pillows were very thick and firm. I would have liked softer ones. Other than that, I can’t fault the place and will definitely go back. Special thanks to the the bartender HANA حنا he was absolutely an example to the excellent hospitality staff And of course Maximus ماكسيموس(hope the spilling is correct) one of the reception staff was a great help for us in everything honestly we were so happy and they just made our vacation better with having a friendly and efficient staff! Well done to the management of this iconic hotel ! We absolutely coming back soon

The relaxation vibes ❤️

Great place to enjoy the Red Sea, one hour away from the city of Hurghada. Great staff on all departments and third parties(taxi drivers, tuk-tuk drivers, tour guides and so on). We also had a lot of complementariness and surprises, like the cake for my wife's birthday. The hotel is in line with El Gouna policies regarding the environment friendliness : green cars and tuk-tuks, renewable energy, waste management, reusable items instead of plastic, etc. Steigenberger and Gouna are a great getaway if you are looking for a quiet and relaxing holiday in this restless country

We just left the hotel and wanted to share what a wonderful experience we had. The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was outstanding. The atmosphere throughout the hotel was inviting, and our room was both comfortable, beautifully maintained and clean. A special mention goes to Abdel Salam from the restaurant, who made our dining experience especially delightful. The staff at both the restaurant and the pool were consistently kind, always smiling, and even cracking jokes with the guests, which added to the overall pleasant vibe. They were incredibly helpful and always on top of their work. Our only suggestion would be to add towel hooks in the bathrooms, perhaps behind the door, for added functionality
