Stylish rooms and facilities, rooms had everything we needed, plenty of towels, appliances etc, the pool is heated year round and was a nice added.bonus to use in December, gym was modern and the downstairs bar was lively, didnt encounter any issues, would stay again

Breakfast is served in the adjoining Italian restaurant, although it is not communicated very well by the hotel, breakfast was included in our room rate but they the restaurant says they don't know what the hotel does in terms of charging and vice versa, it's a 40$ breakfast credit so it's not a fully inclusive breakfast, hotel need to communicate this better to eliminate any confusion, reception could of ran through hotel facilities and brief tips upon check in including breakfast etc

The staff was friendly and welcoming. The hotels interior design is elegant and appealing. The room was spacious with a beautifu skyline view. The beds were very cosy. The outdoor pool was heated. Although we had warm sunny weather, it was great for swimming (especially in the morning).

The furniture (i. e. wardrobe) was of low quality. Some areas were not well maintained (i. e. lounge seats at the swimming pool). Wifi and breakfast were not included although the rate by night was comparetively high. The table, I was placed at for breakfast was not properly cleaned and showed stains. The employees although friendly seemed sometimes demotivated and lacked professional appearance. Compared to other hotels, the W hotel in Philadelphia misses plenty of "little" opportunities to make the customer's stay a true enjoyable experience.

The hotel is in a great location in the city centre, close to all the attractions, shops and subway stations. It's a modern hotel with all the facilities you need. All the staff were amazing and so friendly, and we particularly enjoyed interacting with the bar staff who were especially welcoming. The room was a great size with a huge bed and TV and the bathroom was spacious and had all the space you need.

The lighting in the bedroom was set up with electronic push buttons for different settings and we struggled with to find a way of selecting the right mode, unless it was all off or all on. Also the air con in the room was either quiet and freezing cold or alternated between a pleasant temperature and a really loud fan right over the bed. A more simple arrangement might have been better.

We stayed in the fantastic suite, city view which was very spacious, with great views and a contemporary open floor layout. The suite was also separated at the end of the hall and was very quiet.

Check-in was frustrating. As we had some important business calls to make at 4pm, I called in advance to request an early check-in by just 30 minutes so we could get settled into the room to make our calls. I also did the on-line virtual check-in and we arrived over an hour ahead of time to to check in, but could only get on their "waitlist". We only received a text for our meeting shortly after 4 pm and when we got back to the lobby, the check-in line was 12 customers deep. The hotel would benefit from a more staggered check-in and more coordination of their room cleaning schedules which I think would benefit both the guests as well as the front desk... avoiding the long wait times and the bolus of impatient guests.

The beds are very low/ no microwave in the room or anywhere in the hotel, so that made it difficult to enjoy food later while back at the room. The bathroom setup is very open, not private. Beautiful hotel but more stylish and sexy and the amenities set up proves it's not for a family visit, more for couple leisure.

The location of the hotel is great for downtown and walkable to most places. The room was amazing and extremely comfortable and spacious with an incredible view of the city. It was really quiet and the staff were very approachable and friendly. The pool was great!

It would be nice to have breakfast included and more gluten free options available. The wifi was a bit patchy and the gym was quite limited.

Location, location, location! This hotel is perfect for visiting the city of Philadelphia. The facilities are beautiful, the rooms well appointed and beds very comfortable. The staff was welcoming and always pleasant and polite.

The hotel was very very noisy during our second night, not sure whether the very loud music came from the street, although this is doubtful since we were high on the 32nd floor, or from a party that was given within the hotel... We could not get the nespresso coffee machine to work. In the end, I'm not sure this was worth $1200 for two nights...

The location was excellent as well as the view and the staff! Very clean!

I liked everything...what could have been improved on is more information on what the hotel has to offer...maybe a brochure that is kept in the room with all the highlights...we had no idea about the top of the building access...no breakfast was offered accept for Dolci, which you have to pay for...that could be emphasized that we do not offer "continental" or any type of free breakfast.

From check-in to check out, it was a great stay. The facility was clean, the room was wonderful and the staff was knowledgeable and kind. My only regret is that I was only there for one night! I'd love to go back in the future.

The additional cost for valet seemed inappropriate when you're paying $500.00+ for a room per night. The bathroom wall was see through and didn't lock. I can see some people enjoying that but it wasn't my cup of tea.
