Location was great and the staff was friendly. I really enjoyed spending time in the bar and common areas. The room was small but very comfortable. Not only aesthetically pleasing but functional design as well. Most staff went above and beyond one team member even ran out to buy cream because they ran out and I was having coffee.

I received an email from the hotel asking me to check in on their app but it kept erroring out so I gave up. When I arrived at the hotel I mentioned it to the clerk and she let me know they aren't doing that anymore which is fine but, I spent half an hour trying to make the mobile check in work which was frustrating. Don't send that email if the function doesn't work. Only thing that was troublesome at the property was that there was supposed to be food available at the bar and over half the menu was out of stock. Also, they didn't have a coffee maker in the room because the coffee was supposed to be available downstairs in the common area. I was only able to find coffee there once out of the 4 times I attempted to get a cup and they were out of cream

Liked the location, very convenient for downtown and enjoyed proximity to cafes for breakfast - walked and used streetcar and light rail. Funky, informal vibe. Also used gym!

The room didn’t have any shelving or cupboards to unpack suitcases into so ended up literally living out of the suitcases which could only be stored open on the floor which left very little room and which we kept tripping over. A few trendy hangers but not actually practical for hanging up shirts, dresses or jackets or coats and nowhere to store shoes, tops, jumpers or smalls. Had brought quite a few changes of outfits as dined out at some fab, smart restaurants and was attending son’s graduation ceremony as well sightseeing. 😟

My stay was great, I honestly had no complaints.

There wasn't anything that I didn't like. I don't know why there were so many bad reviews. Staff was friendly. Everything was clean and comfortable. Sure, it wasn't like your typical room with a mini fridge and desk, but for one night, I didn't need those things anyways. They gave me a bottle of water at check out and a ticket for a free drink at the bar.

I really liked the location and lobby! very fun place to hang out inside of just your bedroom. they have some games and a nice bar area. when you book you get free drink tickets as well per person! I loved how the elevated wouldn’t move unless you scanned your key card. secure and makes you feel safe!

the rooms are smaller, which I don’t mind since we didn’t stay in the room other then sleeping and relaxing. but there is no fridge or microwave. nothing like that. BUT they do have coffee and stuff downstairs in lobby!

Marriott has discovered a certain vibe to put into the Moxy Hotel. I am not their intended market, already collecting social security. And many of my age group would find the room small, hard to work with ( there are no closets for instance). But I enjoy coming downstairs to the lobby and hooking my computer up to one of the many workstations/tables that are open for public use, having coffee in the morning seeing other guests come and go, and everyone enjoying this shared community space together. I've been lucky enough to travel around the United States, and even to Paris, staying in one of these campy, happy vibe, gems that are so not like the Hotels I have stayed in the last 40 years. Try it.

My room was hardwood floor, which I was very happy with. I don’t like public carpets because and I do know how clean they are and am concerned about allergens. The guests are quite. I didn’t hear any noise or closing doors. Nice hangers and very comfortable lobby. Staff was awesome.

Even though my room had an esteemed, I didn’t know how to use it. I went to community ironing section to iron my clothes. no ironing board in the rooms, which was fine with me.

We were greeted by a very positive woman, don’t remember her name but she was a short blonde. Check in was easy, room was very clean and quirky which is why we picked it in the first place. I also appreciated the drink tickets.

I do wish there was better shampoo as the one that is provided does not lather very well.

Check in/out process was smooth, helpful staff, friendly lobby/lounge & games/bar area, room was clean & had what we needed. Also, the welcome tickets for 1 drink per person at the bar was nice.

Would have liked coffee as part of the tea bar downstairs in the lobby.

The in hotel bar, the ability to use Netflix on the TV, the view. The accessibility to popular tourist areas. The room was comfy. The little market thing in the lobby. The staff was extremely friendly!

I wish the room had a little more open space, and had a mini-fridge to keep food/beverages in.

Location was great, fantastic lobby and check-in was quick and easy. Staff were great too, super friendly. Bed was comfy, great decor also.

We had to go request towels and an ice bucket and ice, zero storage but had some hooks that helped. Our view was a roof top with the corner of someone else's room, we kept the curtain closed.
