My girlfriend chose this place for us to spend my birthday! Once we arrived at the place we were very welcomed by the staff that told us that we were given an upgrade: a suite room. We couldn't be more happy! When we entered the room we couldn't believe our eyes: the room was awesome, with a kingsize bed, a huge bathtub and a marble bathroom. It even had direct access to the hotel pool and courtyard. It completely exceeded our expectations. The next day, at the breakfast, the hotel kindly prepared pancakes wishing "Happy Birthday". It was truly a great experience! Thank you!!

I'd say that it shouldn't be allowed for guests to book the pool daybeds in advance. The hotel should enforce a "first come, first serve" policy.

the rooms were nice and clean. location is great. parking in the garage is good.

the food in the restaurant was very bad. do not eat here. we stayed in SLH hotels before but this is not according to the standard. staff informed us that their restaurant was closed couple of months ago and the neighbor restaurant is now their place but again not SLH worthy. furthermore had a lot of kids in the hotel, we were slightly overwhelmed by this and their noise😞

Endlessly interesting. So many unique and random design elements. Amazing array of raw, natural and polished mosaic marble features. Brilliant pool and out door relaxing area. Big beautiful rooms . Lovely chocolate and port welcome. Friendly staff knowledgeable about the history of the hotel and the town. Fabulous food at the restaurant.

The amazing art and decoration is a disjointed and random. It was a brilliant experience and delight to see each thing but it left me with a strong desire to reorganise and align the decoration.

The location and cleanliness were excellent. The decor is a matter of personal taste and I found this amusingly a little over the top. But all in all if you can overlook the gauche design of which they seem to be very proud a decent place to stay.

Food at their restaurant needs work - not terrible by any means but will look for alternatives for dining if I find myself there again. Also a PhD helps to operate the bathroom knobs et al :)))

Amazing staff, amazing bed, a nice spa and a very good breakfast with top quality food and beverages. absolutely recommend. We got a room upgrade for free and without asking.

We were forced to buy a swimming cap to use the pool. Makes me wonder if they ask everybody to use a cap during summer…

Generous in space with temperature at 40c the pool area was very popular No space for a quite coffee away from the heat and no bar for pre and post dinner

Luxurious hotel, very quiet and in a convenient location. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast menu was extensive and the food was delicious.

The pool area is amazing, staff was extremely polite and helpful, rooms are spacious and very clean, breakfast was good, dinner at the hotel restaurant was an unique experience.

Although the food at the hotel restaurant is incredible, the hotel should also have a broader room service menu (or even a more simple bar or restaurant service) with more vegetarian options and also kids meals.

The staff are outstanding...Facilities are First class across the board...The pool area was my favorite during my stay...

Breakfast Buffet is not 5 stars period...

Great breakfast, really amazing staff, always ready to help and make you feel like you are royalty. Think it is a great Hotel for an energy "refuel". Its in a good location to go and visit a lot of historic landmarks, and walking distance from really good restarurants.

Didn't quite get why the tv was behind the mirror... it´s cool and all, but it´s very reflective and not centered in the wall. Think might as well have the tv centered in the wall and the mirror where it is.
