Location was great.

When we stayed in Verona, the hotel made sure they submitted our car rental info to the local authorities so that we could drive in the limited traffic zone. The Borgoleoni 18 entrance is in the limited traffic zone and we assumed they had done the same. Borgoleoni 18 states the parking lot can be reached without going into the limited traffic zone, which we did. However, we were not informed that if you follow navigation instructions, you will drive in the limited traffic zone for a short time. Hopefully, we will not get a ticket from Ferrara as they an be very expensive.

Nice cozy hotel in a beautiful building. The hotel has only a few rooms which makes it quiet. The room design is nice, and everything was very clean. The location is fantastic.

Soundproofing is not great, I could hear distinctly people having breakfast (my room opened directly onto the breakfast area). Not always easy to get attention from the hotel staff.

Nice little bed and breakfast located close to the heart of Ferrara. Very good personal service. The rooms were modern and clean although the design was a little different to what we were used to. The breakfast was fresh and coffee made to order.

I would have liked a blanket or quilt on the bed- it was summer so I think only a sheet is provided. It was ok - we weren’t cold but I like the weight of a blanket when sleeping.

Little boutique hotel very near to the centre of town, basically at a stone throw from the castle. The stuff was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was very nice, clean, large, and with a comfortable modern design. At breakfast there was lots of choice also with delicious home-made options.

This is a 15th-century house that has been beautifully modernised (have a look for the book in the breakfast room which shows this process at work). It is very close to the town centre (5 minutes) and on several bus routes to the station. Our room was beautifully furnished, very comfortable and clean. The breakfast was very good, albeit no hot food. There was a lovely array of fruit, yogurt, pastries and cake as well as the usual meat and cheese. The coffee was good. The dining area looks out on to an inner (first floor level) courtyard and it light and airy.

Very modern refurbishment and everything worked. Nice breakfast. Helpful staff. In the centre of town so easy to walk within walled city or rent a bike which was even better.

Street side was a little noisy due to it being Festival time and events finishing around midnight with happy party-goers. Only lasted a short time but irritating.

This is a hidden gem in the centre of Ferrara. The room was modern and immaculate. We arrived to a choral accompaniment from the nearby music school. The parking at the rear was ideal for our motorbikes (behind a locked gate). The town centre was no more than 5 mins walk away.

A privacy screen on the shower would have been nice.

The location is amazing - just step out into Ferrara! Breakfast wonderful, room very comfortable.

Photos didn't match the room - I was expecting a room with a spa bath but got a shower. It was fine.
