I enjoyed staying here. The staff was very quiet and mindful as well as courteously kind. whenever I had an issue, they fixed it and didn't make me feel bad about it. I appreciate how homey this location is it's also LITERALLY right around the corner from The Harpers Ferry and if you are willing to walk, this is the place for you. they had many cyclists that stayed here and plenty of parking for them as well I also loved it was right next to a little seating area that a chunky squirrel and an unbothered bunch of deer roam, graze and eat.

the walls were a little thin. I could hear EVERYTHING going on in the room next door in the middle of the night. I wish I hadn't.... but let this be a reminder that all of us should be mindful and quiet when we are out and around other people.

We typically do not like hotel breakfast so we didn't eat there. However it was very easy to load and unload at this motel with a 10 min parking space right inside the front door. The foyer was a little awkward as they were two of them. It appeared some type of renovation had been done. The thing that stood out to us was the dirty windows. Our room had a burned out light bulb in the vanity area, and we were not left any coffee pods with the coffee pot. We asked for those at the front desk, but usually bring our own coffee pot and supplies for a 2 night stay. The information about the area was very good. The detour of Rt 340 was a pain but that wasn't any fault of the hotel. Our room was comfortable enough. For such a small town the price for two nights was approaching $330 after Labor Day; a little pricey for what was there.

Clean the windows, double check supplies, pump up the lighting somewhat, rooms quite dark.

The property is getting upgrades and that is great new carpets, new furniture, new bedding. the staff and the owners are very conscientious and awesome and helpful people from Earl and maintenance of the cleaning staff to the front desk women. It is perfect for a stay in the area. Absolutely check out Bolivar Bread Bakery when you are here, too.

One treadmill was not working.

The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The finishes are showing their age, but our room was very clean and comfortable. Nice warm breakfast in the morning.

Location worked well enough for us but note that if you are walking into town it's not too far (about a mile) but part of the way is along a road with no sidewalk or shoulder. Note that some rooms are on the second floor with no elevator.

Good location, easy to find and easy parking. Breakfast was as expected.

The bed was too hard for my liking. I tried asking the desk staff on 2 occations about tubing in the area and they could only name one company and basicly referred me to the website. I would have expected them to have at least a basic knowledge of the local activities and tour operators and point out on a map where they are located.

I thought the place was very clean, I was thrilled with my room. The staff was nice.

I wish that I could have gotten a ride to town. I didn't have a car. I realize that there might not have been enough staff to do that. I also wish there was more selection for breakfast. I stayed at a Clarion Inn in Asheville in April and I got pancakes and sausages. I don't like waffles. Also wish there was more fruit selection, like bananas.

Loved the continental breakfast. Waffles were a nice touch. Coffee great and plenty of it. Nice tv screen. The maids do top notch work. Two treadmills in the workout room. Everyone friendly and helpful. Plenty of free and convenient parking. Motel easy to get to.

Having to keep our stay short.

Breakfast was included which was eggs, waffles you make, sausage, cereals, muffins, biscuits and gravy. Plus tea and coffee and juices. The staff from general manager to the receptionist were friendly and helpful. And very polite. Location of this place is hidden but also very close to town and AT trail is across street from lot entrance. Room was great, clean and roomy.

Didnt stay long enough to have any complaints in general. If you pulling trailer or RV'ing to stay be aware tight lot entrance on incline (If another vehicle is coming in or out) but trailers watch that dip to street.

The breakfast was fine; the staff maintained the hot food line and there were plenty of things to eat. The location was good for my husband and me. He was wrapping up on the One Day Hike, and I was volunteering at the Bolivar Community Center.

We had a double bed with a very soft mattress. That mattress in room 117 needs to be replaced.

I've visited Harpers Ferry multiple times & I wished I had learned about this place earlier. The location - and the ability to park at that location - makes the Quality Inn in Bolivar/Harper's Ferry an ideal place to stay for a night (or two). 10 or 15 minutes of a scenic walk & the entirety of historic Harper's Ferrry is at your disposal. No hassles with your car, breaks for R&R, etc. you can enjoy your stay in manageable segments. The location is quiet, the rooms are spacious & the staff is very personable. If you are an enthusiast of the area - I would highly recommend this place.

No complaints about the location. However, It can get quite hot in July & August ..... mid-September thru the beginning of November is the best time to go.
