Lovely little hotel in Nusa Penida with incredibly friendly owners. We only stayed here 2 nights but we really enjoyed our stay, And the owners were amazing. Our first night we had inquired about where we could get dinner. One of the owners mentioned the only restaurant that's nearby, but the road there gets very dark since it passes through areas with no lighting, and my wife didn't want to walk there, so she let us borrow a motorbike to get there for free! And in general they were always very warm and friendly when we chatted with them. The next night we discovered that they actually serve food at the hotel as well, and so we got dinner there, and it was very good! Also, if you have a chance to walk around the village, there are many lovely temples, and it's worth exploring the area.

While the location is in a small village, there's really only one small store nearby, and one restaurant a little further away. The hotel does serve food as well though, and I believe they had water and beer, possibly other beverages for sale. Also, be aware that there are roosters all over the area and they don't just make noise in the morning! The owner actually had earplugs for us though, which was really nice.

The property was clean and quiet. The host (couple) was super nice and helpful with anything we needed. They suggested us spots to visit, and were just the kindest people we met in the country. The location was also quite good. It was in the centre so that we could access almost all the major spots in the same amount of time.

Some spiders, mosquitoes and bugs in the room but it’s bound to happen since this is a place in so much greenery. No complaints.

We enjoyed four nights at Agasta. Putu, the owner, did his very best to make us feel welcome at Nusa Penida. Putu was very helpful to arrange all excursions and the fast ferry for us. We could even rent two scooters at the venue, which was very comfortable. When staying at Agasta Villa, you really need to be mobile. It takes at least 20-30 min to get somewhere. The bungalows are spacious, clean and have comfortable beds and airco. Other positive facilities: there is a fridge with chilled drinks available and laundry service.

We where less enthousiast about the food being served at Agasta Villa. We preferred to eat at one of the restaurants nearby.

The host Putu and his wife were amazing! The service was great. We rented 2 scooters from them, they were both in food conditions. Putu even took us to a spot to try some local street food! Besides that, the food in the villa itself is amazing and very reasonably priced. The iced coffee is the highlight! Location wise, it's perfect as its only 15 minutes from kelingking and 25mins from broken beach, this allowed us to go to these spots and enjoy it before the arrival of the day trip visitors! Trust me, this made a lot of difference!

The walls were very thin! Coming from Malaysia we have no issues with the sound of the roosters in the morning but there were times we could actually hear the conversations fo the back neighbors! Very clearly! Another point to mention is that the room furnishing is very basic but for the price point and the service we can't complain much! Had a great time nonetheless

Super place to stay in Nusa Penida. Greta prices and quality of services. Putu is a great host and take a good care of his customers. All the people here are really kind, the rooms are very cosy and clean. The pool is nice too. You can rent scooters or organize activities on Nusa Penida directly here ! Good location because you’re close to everything on the island (20min from Kelingking and the main harbour). Highly recommended !

For our first trip in Bali (we came from France), we chose to start with a few days in Nusa Penida, and we rented a room at Agasta villa, and we are very happy with it ! The place is very nice and well located, you can reach the main spots (Broken beach, Kelinkging beach, Cristal Bay) in about between 15 and 25 min. There are only 4 private bungalows in a quiet area so if you want to relax, perfect place ! + a pretty good WIFI connexion and a nice swimming pool. But the most important : our host, Putu ! We discovered the west coast of Nusa Penida with him, and it was amazing. Putu is the most friendly, warmful and helpful person in Nusa Penida. We went for a few hours with him to Broken beach, Billabong, Cristal Bay and Kelingking beach (the famous T-rex rock), and we left early in the morning to avoid other tourists as much as possible, to be quiet and enjoy fully. Mission accomplished with Putu, who lets you take the time you want on every spot, and show you amazing places. Not a standard guide, but the guide you absolutely want with you to show you his country. He also helped us for everything else we needed : pick up at the port, personnalized itinerary,… We definitely recommend him and Agasta villa !

Putu and his family must be the most welcoming hosts there are. They made us feel welcome the minute we arrived and the feeling never stopped until the moment of departure. Villa was cleaned daily, we had an opportunity to rent new scooters on site and there was a laundry service supplied by the hosts that were present all the time. Altogether pretty much anything you need could and would be arranged to an extraordinary level. The location on Nusa Penida worked also well for our needs, as we wanted to be away from the hassle of the ”city” around the port. Fifteen minutes to Kelingking beach by scooter, twenty to the west and an hour tops to all the other parts of the island.

The villas are located in the rural part of the island, so the sounds of both wild and domestic animals can disturb light sleepers. This was already a known issue to the hosting family, so I would expect solutions to the topic in the near future :)

Very friendly owner who is willing to help out with literally anything including tours and transport at a very fair price (bonus: is fluent in English). Other staff were very friendly as well. We loved the cozyness of the Villa and its charm as well as the nice conversations we had with the owner and the food options provided.

The location is very central, which is a plus if you'd like to explore the entire island from one location. But it might not be for people who would prefer easy access to the beach. Side note: Rooster noises might keep light sleepers awake. But it's not worse than on other parts of the island and you do get earplugs.

Putu and Nila were amazing hosts and we really enjoyed our stay. Everyone was just so nice and really taking care of their guests. They even offered us earpluggs against the noise from the chickens nearby. The rooms were super cleaned and also cleaned everyday. The breakfast was amazing with fresh fruits every morning. We can also highly recommend the island tours with Putu. He drove us to the best spots and also told us a lot about the balinese people and culture. If we come back to Nusa Penida we will definitly stay here again!

For us it was not disturbing but just good to know maybe: the roosters from the neighbourhood are very noisy.

Staff were brilliant and very friendly. Room is very clean, pool area is nice. Food at the hotel is delicious, especially the spring rolls!!!

The location is good as it is situated on the west side of the island closeish to the tourist attractions. However it is in a village which has no other restaurant within walking distance, Nusa Penida is an island with no pedestrian pavements therefore you must be prepared to either hire a scooter or hire a driver throughout the stay. The property was very loud on our first night with a ceremony at the temple next to the hotel and the cockerels are loud in the mornings if your a light sleeper.
