We loved our stay at Pug Seal. Our room was gorgeous, with a huge shower, large, comfy bed and stylish decor. The hotel is in a nice quiet area, though it's easy enough to walk to some nice restaurants. The hotel itself is gorgeous, set in an old villa with lots of original artwork, but the real highlight for us was the concierge and staff, who were so friendly and helpful, giving us tips on where to eat and what to explore. Breakfast was also delicious - would definitely return to Pug Seal if we're ever in Mexico City again

I'm not sure I felt the private tour of Teotihuacan we organised through the hotel was worth the money. We paid more than $100 USD each and our driver essentially dropped us off at the pyramids, gave us a quick explanation and then told us to go on to the museum if we wanted to learn more. For that price point I was hoping for a more in-depth explanation and detailed tour of the site

The best parts of this hotel are staff and breakfast. We felt like truly welcomed guests there and were surrounded by smiles and friendly attitude. You want to look out for Guillermo - he was the guy who made our entire stay memorable and pleasant. As far as breakfast, it is a-la-carte, super fresh, delicious and diverse. What's more, they will gladly make you any breakfast you want based on the ingredients they have.

Pillows are a slight disappointment, but with pillows you kinda never know.

The location was very good, easy to walk to shops and restaurants The breakfast experience was very good, great menu options and the staff was very pleasant Coffee/tea and snacks available 24/7 from the common area

Sound insulation is subpar Ground floor rooms have a high fence view, very little natural light Overall room quality is poor for the price, subpar amenities and outdated furniture No storage space, only a cupboard in the room that can hardly hold t-shirts Linens were spotted despite supposedly cleaned and replaced Poor quality mattress

The breakfast was absolutely incredible. It’s literally an al a carte menu of the finest mexican food I’ve ever had. The service was over the top good. There’s an honesty bar with good booze. The shower was phenomenal. I’ve traveled to 65 countries, stayed in countless hotels, most of which I immediately forget. This was different. It was special.

Slight issue with the fx rate I guess, my room was about $15/night more than I expected. Very minor detail. This place was outstanding.

The staff is amazing! They really go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. They are helpful and can guide you where to go. The breakfast is also really good and free! The garden outside is nice to sit at. We stayed in the suite and it was huge and very comfortable. Rooms and hotel have a fun, boutique vibe and lots of personality.

Beautifully kept property. The art alone was worth the stay as there is a fun new corner of the property to enjoy every day. Beyond just the property, the people make this Pug Seal great. The staff is so friendly, gracious and warm, everyone from housekeepers to cooks to wait staff to front desk.

We loved the unique and funky design elements, the stately oversized room and shower, the amazing chef-prepared breakfast, and most importantly, the friendliness and helpfulness of the awesome staff!! The proximity to the heart of Polanco and free bikes use were an added plus!!

Everything was perfect!!

Everything was exceptional. Breakfast delicious, location couldnt be more perfect, staff was welcoming, profesional and very friendly. The room was stunning. Bathroom beautiful as well, loved the bathtub especially after long working days. Al soaps, creams and shampoo is organic and artisanal made. Overall I loved staying at Pugseal, will definitely book again when in Mexico City

I truly loved everything

I Love the place, every corner is well decorated and immaculate. My room was amazing, comfy, big and very very clean. The staff was so polite, so welcoming and worried about my staying been perfect! I fully recommend it!

I’ve been in a lot of five star hotels but this one feels like my home and I already miss it , the staff go above and beyond to accommodate their guests , definitely going back !
