- Nice Room space / Facilities (Shower was powerful and clean) - Plenty of parking - Staff were friendly + night staff (helpful and welcoming) - Ease of booking overall - Breakfast options were good - Liked the ease of self service for all items.

- Room didn't have aircon - Fan provided was dusty/dirty and poor - Beds were really hard and not very comfortable - Only one main towel provided for two people staying - Hotel seemed quite dated - missing pictures / holes and marks on walls along corridors - needed a freshen up - Dirty rockery left outside our room (presume from previous guests) - Not enough hanging / wardrobe space to unpack in room

The hotel has plenty of parking and indoor heated pool and we enjoyed using the pool and sauna. The staff was helpful when we asked questons. We were charged for the parking as we forgot giving our car plate number with the reception but when we informed the hotel, the charge was dropped. Highly appreciated their quick response on this matter.

At the time of check in, we were informed that we will be charged 10 pounds for using the pool but at the pool, we were told it is free for hotel guests. In addition, kids are not allowed to use the pool after 6pm. We hope the information regarding pool use to be a bit more clear....

The hotel is located well and had great facilities like the spa. Very good for weddings or large gatherings.👏 The room was clean, the bed was comfy, and the shower strong and hot.👌 The tea/coffee making facility in the room was nice with shortbread biscuits, though we only got one each.😏 The food served in the bar area was okay, the chalkstream trout was enjoyed by hubby.🙂

It took nearly an hour to get served our food! Very, very slow service, and it seemed like several tables all got served at the same time?😡 Breakfast was okay, but NOT worth the price charged, compared to Premier Inn!😢 The plates were cold, and the only eggs offered were scrambled. Nothing was very hot, and no staff around doing any cooking, like fried eggs?🤔 I had to request if there was any orange juice, and a lady went and brought a jug out.☹️

The location is central for the town and the business parks. It is easy to find. The staff are very approachable and the facilities are very good. The rooms are spotlessly clean. Lovely Hot water and warm. Beds are large and comfortable. I often stay here as it’s my favourite hotel in the area and good value for a few nights. Parking is free and well catered for. Bar and Menu at most times of day including room service. Can’t really fault this hotel at all. Even has late check out time of 12pm and housekeeping do not disturb you.

We used this hotel as a base to travel back and forth to the British round of the Motogp. The facilities exceeded what I expected for the price paid. There was both Continental & Cooked breakfast available, with the staff attending to our needs perfectly. The hotel is very modern with a gym and swimming facilities which were perfect. Our room was large, well set out with a comfortable bed & large bathroom.

The fixtures in the bath/shower made it quite difficult to have a shower without getting caught up in the additional fixtures.

I thoroughly enjoyed the stay and had the best nights’ sleep as the bed was so comfortable. The rooms were clean and so was the hotel overall. My only constructive feedback would be for water bottles as part of the complimentary tray as the rooms were quite warm.

Overall it was a fanatic stay, there’s nothing overly negative for me to criticise other than perhaps the provision of water bottles in the room or a water fountain were guests can fill their own bottles.

Both days breakfasts - £13 each! - we asked for Butter because there was none on display. The Sunday they only had Flora spread and blamed a large club that were there. They should have catered for them.......... On Monday when asked the waitress said there was non of either. After complaining some butter was found - frozen solid and placed in a bowel of ice cubes! it was unusable. After complaining when we checked out we were told there were problems with their suppliers. For the price we paid there problems were not our problem..............We received an apology and were told it would be discussed at the next management meeting. Not good enough I feel.

The hotel is beautiful the staff so friendly. Overall a great stay. And a refreshment table was set out for everyone returning from the grand prix which was very lovely to have set out. I would recommend this hotel to people and I would stay again.

The price was only so expensive because it was the weekend of the British GP so I expected to pay alot more for a hotel that weekend. But it was one of the better priced hotels avaliable. I think if I wasn't going to the grand prix and I was visiting the area I probably would have arranged my trip for a different weekend.

We were arriving by bicycle and I had previously contacted the hotel to get confirmation of storage. Yes the bikes were stored in the porters lodge. Not many hotels are this accommodating. The hotel is based around a court yard hence the name and I think in Summer that it would be an excellent venue. the location is quiet. Breakfast was good.

Restaurant was not open hence having to eat in the Bar area. I was advised it was because they struggle to get sufficienct staff to cover both areas. That said the evening meal was good.

Comfortable room

I had checked in online in advance of arrival - only to be told when we got there that "that doesn't work anyway" Breakfast wasn't mentioned when we checked in - and when we went to get some the following morning (happy to pay for it as, at that point we realised that we hadn't sorted it) we were told it was £16 EACH. - I'm sorry but that is a ridiculous price!
