We loved the Modern Cottage snuggled into the tranquil setting, above the valley overlooking the Dayboro. Perfect getaway from the City 9-5 grind. We saw Blue Wrens, finches, the song of wild birds just outside. We were met by 2 resident Roosters on the balcony. Just bliss immersed in nature. Charmaine had prepared our cottage just like your Mum would (it's got everything even had a washing machine/dryer. Webber Q cooker. Great host, she took us up to the farm gate, we met and fed the LLamas (very gentle animals) the resident cheeky goat herd. Escape to the country, its the best medicine and slows your mind and we found the whole so peaceful. Free parking, free animal hugs and great owners, super friendly, go the extra mile to so enjoy your stay. Thank you, Charmaine and Tim, for a very organic stay.
No meal service, BYO, BUT you can find dinner (Good burgers/ chips and beer) on a Monday night at the Sugarmill Cafe / Bar in the main street Dayboro 3 mins by car.

We stayed in the cottage with the spa bath. A genuine 2 person spa as well. The rural view from the cottage is fantastic and we were entertained by the antics of the resident goats each afternoon. Very private cottage that easily matches up against more expensive locations we have stayed at in both the Sunshine and Gold Coast Hinterland. A short drive from the lovely little town of Dayboro where we had breakfast both mornings. We decided to eat in both evenings (otherwise someone would have to drive and the balcony just demanded afternoon drinks) so we cooked up some steaks on the George Foreman grill. The cottage has good quality provisions and utensils that made eating in a breeze. A rainy first day wasn't lost as we were able to watch some of the DVD'S provided when we weren't snoozing on the comfy king bed and we were also able to read our books on the balcony when the rain lifted (we just brought the balcony chairs inside so they were dry for sitting on). Much better weather on the second day so we had a drive over to Samford and up to My Glorious in the morning. Such a scenic area to stay and explore. Also try Mt Mee lookout if you get a chance as the view is spectacular I suspect (not so much on the day we checked in). We also had lunch at Ocean View Estate Winery which is just a short drive from the cottages. Food and atmosphere were superb. Hope I have convinced someone to check out Dayboro Cottages.
Maybe a box of tissues could be provided.

We didn't have breakfast at the property, the cottage was rustic and had a beautiful quiet outlook, we were surprised at the lack of road noise, it really made the stay so much more peaceful and relaxing. The cottage had small kitchenette with microwave and fridge, a well set up laundry. As a great bonus it also had a small electric grill so you could BBQ on the balcony. Bathroom was really nice and very clean. Overall was a wonderful place to stay close to Dayboro. Hosts communicated via Text and were really helpful, the instruction to clear and easy to follow.
It would have been nice to have a ceiling fan, though that is splitting hairs as the Air con worked really well.

Absolutely stunning cabins with fabulous views. Intensely relaxing. Very well equipped cabins with luxurious bed. Owners have thought of simply everything you could need. We stayed in the spa cabin which has a huge spa bath with lovely touch of Bath salts provided. Good selection of DVDs to watch, comfortable furniture for lodging around and large balcony to take in the views. The wildlife and the local Llamas are amazing.

Such a peaceful stay with beautiful views. Everything you could need in the self contained cozy cottages. Very clean, great hot water and shower pressure, comfortable beds. We were ready to move in for good. The owners were very accommodating and kind with quick responses over text had we any needs. Couldn’t recommend this place enough, especially for the price.

My husband and I absolutely loved staying here. They were extremely friendly and welcoming, and we adored hugging and patting the baby goats and seeing the other animals. The view was amazing and loved listening to the wildlife. The cottage was beautiful and very clean, we felt very relaxed.
There was nothing we didn't like except we didn't stay longer enough lol.

Excellent location for a peaceful getaway. Llamas and pizza yurt was a great touch in addition to beautiful and well-appointed cottages. Village with shops/cafes close by was a bonus.
The air-con was a little noisy (but not enough to affect a great stay). A stovetop would be a great addition, but the electric frypan did the job!

The rooms were very spacious and well equipped. Lovely host who was very patient with me even when I didn't understand the upgrade instructions. Host went out of her way to return some items I left in the room. So thankful.
Everything was lovely
