We booked 4 family apartments for a family trip, and we loved the loft style. It looked like they had just recently refurbished. The carpet and downstairs flooring looked new. Can still smell a slight hint of new paint, which was barely noticeable/gone once the windows were opened and the apartment was aired out. The beds are comfortable with high-end sheets and fluffy thick towels. Each apartment had what looked like newly installed inverter heatpumps, though we didn't need to use it during our stay. We appreciate the fully functional clean kitchen as it gave our big group the option to cook some meals. The bathrooms are huge, although old, they were clean and functional without any leaks or smell. The location was perfect for where we needed to be. For what we paid and we got more than what we expected, it was well worth it. Will definitely come back and stay. Highly recommend.

The only thing we really struggled with was communication. Have to call them a few times as no one seemed to be around to answer the phone. However, we eventually got through and eventually got a reply through the Booking.com messaging. Our booking wasn't canceled, so I guess it's a plus for us and for them.

Very spacious accommodation: main room, kitchen, bathroom. Additional bedroom upstairs next to bathroom. Unfortunately, it was difficult for travelling companion to get up the very tight stairs to the bathroom. Otherwise, very happy with everything. Small private courtyard. Good location for our 4 night stay. Very helpful staff. Handy location for Bus service to Ferry Wharf - giving easy access to Auckland. Recommend: La Padella Restaurant, Howick.

The room was exceptionally clean. I could not fault it at all. The cooking facilities were also more than we expected so that was a great surprise. We arrived after dark and left in the dark the next morning so were not really around enough to comment on other facilities or location . We travelled up from Tauranga and were on a ferry to Waiheke early the next day and would definitely stay there again if we were doing that as it was so close to the ferry terminal at Half Moon Bay.

Newly renovated, clean and extremely comfortable beds. Office stayed open for us as we were arriving just after close. Great wee pool for the kids. So close to everything we needed. A great wee find for our spontaneous stay.

If I had to moan about something although so tiny and didn't actually bother us but could others. You can only watch TV from the master bed. We couldn't move it around to view from the sofa.

Sharn was a god send! Very accommodating and patient with us. We had a late night flight that just kept going wrong 😵 turned up gone 1am and a breeze check in! Had the 2 bed apartment, the beds were comfie and the shower hot, heating worked really well, it was just what we needed after a long flight.

The pool is cold but if you run around the outside you can make a lazy river to float in ^.^

The room was so nice and I’d call it a Villa rather than just a room. It was clean and soo comfortable we felt at home. The bed was super comfy and you can tell the effort that has been put into the styling of it. The manager was very lovely and came to our rescue to let us in when we arrived late with no internet or phone reception. The location was great for us due to family members we were visiting, living close by. Highly recommend!

Neighbour had a party on first night, but was tolerable. The stairs are very steep, a health and safety risk for older people to get to the bathroom from downstairs. I struggled and I am in my 50yrs. Prefer milk in the fridge rather than the creamer satchets.

The location was great and even though it was on a busy road there was no noise.

The bed was directly under the above rooms bathroom, could hear everything 😳 and the cistern was noisy. Was there three nights and after the second night I put out the sign for room clean towel change but when we arrived back in the evening everything was as we left it, bit disapointing

We all really enjoyed our stay. We were here for leisure so didn't get the chance to discover the motor lodge. Our room was very clean and tidy. The location was perfect for us and we were very close to food places etc. Will be staying again in the future.

Leaving. If we were very picky I'd say the downside was the toilet being upstairs.
