I had an absolutely fantastic stay at Heranya La:Ku! This hotel is perfectly situated right on Patan Durbar Square, offering stunning views and a vibrant atmosphere. Mahendra, the owner, was an exceptional host. He went above and beyond to ensure my comfort, offering airport transportation and even a complimentary tour of the area. His deep knowledge of the local culture made it a fascinating learning experience. Both he and his wife were incredibly welcoming and kind. The hotel is adjacent to a restaurant that Mahendra also owns. The food there was delicious, and the convenience of having such a great dining option right next door was a huge plus. The hotel’s setting allows for supporting a local business, which adds to the charm and authenticity of the stay. The entire staff was extremely accommodating, making sure that every aspect of my visit was taken care of. I highly recommend Heranya La:Ku to anyone visiting Patan. I am looking forward to returning on my next trip to Nepal. Thank you, Mahendra and team, for a truly memorable experience!

This home stay is in a great location! It is right in Patan's Durbar Square and is a good walking distance from many attractions. The room was very clean and comfortable. There are a lot of great restaurants nearby and attached to the property.

The only thing I noticed is that with a great location comes some noise. The rooms are right on the Durbar Square and you can hear anytime something is happening outside- but it was not a problem after 8pm, the square mostly cleared out and I was able to sleep well.

The location was brilliant and the view from the room was amazing. The staff were friendly, courteous and always helpful. The room was clean.

Wi-fi could have been better, and the breakfast service could have been better (although the food itself was decent). Everything else was great.

Where do I begin? Location is more than perfect, right in and overlooking the temples of Patan Durbar Square. The room has all the facilities you could ask for (except TV which we don't need), super comfortable bed, desk, kettle, bathroom with immediate hot shower. Breakfast on the rooftop with an even more extensive view of the square. Very friendly and helpful owner and staff. So good to enjoy the ambience of the square at night.

Designed in Traditional Newari way with all modern facilities.Views are stunning from all angles, rooftop restaurant with 360 view and wide varieties of foods , hassle free check-in/out process . Hot water in the shower with good water pressure which you will not even get in overpriced priced hotels in Kathmandu.sockets are available every corner of the room.The owner is friendly and always prepared to help . Price is very reasonable.

Location faced Patan Square but was not noisy after 9pm. Kettle in the room, and a hairdryer. staff very friendly.

No hot water first thing due to solar heating but by 11.30 hot water at very good power.

I liked the greetings, hospitality, the readiness of the room, the view, the privacy, and no disturbances.

I would have loved the following - hot water for shower in the morning, food after 10 pm and some provision to refill water.

if you want to check out urgently at morning time then there will be no staff to take care of room keys and other thing etc

The location on Patan Durbar Square is unique and the views are absolutely stunning. Owner and staff are very friendly and helpful. The food is good too.
