The staff was great and super helpful. Amazing Breakfast and many options in breakfast. The hotel is right next to bus stop like 2 mins walk. We reach center of the city in approx 15 mins from the bus. The room was great with nice view of the road and few mountain also even though there was a building in between mountain view but thats fine. Hotel staff clean the room everyday during my stay. Airport and Train station are easily accessible from the Hotel. The bus for Hallstatt is also from next to hotel.

Even though washroom was clean but it could be little more cleaner.

The owners treated you as a person and not a number because it’s a small hotel … They couldn’t do enough for you and made you feel very welcome … Lovely hosts served good continental breakfast … Spotlessly clean and the “housekeeper” certainly took pride in her work … The bed was large and comfortable … The bus stop to the centre was literally a few steps from the main door and costs 3 euros pp each way

The smell of smoke coming in from people outside as our room was above reception and the main door … The headboard had a shelf on so you couldn’t sit up in bed … We couldn’t find any English channels on the TV … The light in the bathroom could be brighter as it’s only one on the mirror

Easy self check-in from 1pm, which is convenient if you want to leave your luggage at the hotel and use the afternoon to see the city. Regular buses to the city center and main station (nr 2). Even though there is a main road, we could sleep well with closed windows. More of a residential area, but a bakery and pharmacy is closeby. You could hike to Gaisbergspitze starting from the hotel. The hosts are very kind, making sure that you have everything. The breakfast buffet is varied and probably our highlight. The room was clean and beds comfy.

There were two pillows per person. One in my opinion too soft, the other too hard, but I guess this preference depends from person to person. All in all a great stay. We would definitely stay here again!

Self check-in was easy. The rooms were of a decent size and the portable air conditioning unit/dehumidifier was great at keeping the room cool. The beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was really good, with a decent selection of both sweet and savoury. The owners were very pleasant when we met them in the morning. The parking places outside the hotel are a godsend.

Our bathroom was tiny, which isn't a problem but it would be challenging for a large person to dry themself in the shower. The location is out of the city, which we knew, but it's a good 25 minutes by bus. Also, it's on a very busy road, so you'll be woken up by traffic at 05:00 if you have the window open. However, it's lovely and quiet in the hotel with no noise from other rooms. No decaffeinated coffee available at breakfast, and the fruit juice was weak.

The Staff were brilliant. Very helpful. The person in the desk even helped us with our luggage up the stairs. The breakfast was very nice and again the lady there was very helpful. Housekeeping staff was very helpful too. HOFMANN is a small hotel with 7 rooms and they impressed us with the simplicity, comfort and behavior of Staff. Highly recommend. There is a bus stop very close to the hotel. Bus number 2 takes you straight to the Mirabel palace, Mozart' s residence and the Sound of music tour meeting place. Very convenient.

The only problem was the lack if elevator. But we got enough help though. Thanks to them. It was actually my mistake not to have checked beforehand if there was an elevator. But I am glad we stayed in Hoffman

Easy to use self-checkin. Friendly staff. Excellent breakfast. Easy to get to. The number 2 bus terminates 50 metres from the hotel (although it took us a few minutes to spot the hotel 🙄). It runs every 20 minutes and takes about 12 minutes from the city centre (Mirabellplatz). Last bus is just before 11 pm (23.54, I think). Taxi costs about 15 Euros.

We didn't realise one of the windows was slightly ajar (our fault for not checking), so from about 5. 30 a.m. we were kept awake by the noise of traffic on the main road. So make sure you shut the windows.

Loved everything other than the room and bathroom sizes - the owners were lovely people and also the staff :) Of all the places we stayed on our trip, they served the best breakfast and for a very reasonable price. They let us store our luggage for 2 days and transferred all the bags to our room when we came back. Thanks again to the owners(forgot to get their names :/ ) and Sevgi for making our stay wonderful!! P.S. They do not have a lift, but help carry the luggage if needed.

Great place to stay- Good and extremely clean room/ bathrooms (slightly small but cozy and warm- sufficient for 2 people travelling). Excellent host who was very polite and helpful. breakfast was also good. Another big advantage is the Bus stand is just 2 mins walk from hotel, for connectivity to rest of the city. Value for money and highly recommended by us !

There was nothing we didn't like as such. Just 2 points to highlight for travelers to keep in mind 1. No lift and our room was on 3rd floor so with Luggage, that became an issue. You can request for rooms in lower floors as per need. We missed this point while booking. 2. We could find just one cafeteria near the hotel for meal options- however, that is not a very big concern. You can either eat up before coming back or buses/trams are anyway accessible easily for travel anywhere (esp. if you have Salzburg city pass and unlimited rides covered)

Friendly & helpful staff, clean rooms with comfortable bed, easy parking, and an easy bus ride to the city at 2 min walk from hotel. Breakfast nice also. Great value for money compared to other accommodation in Salzburg, and probably will return here if I return to Salzburg.

The self check in is functional but a bit impersonal and would have liked a fridge and/ or coffee machine in the room. Not too much to do in the area - but easy to get around.

The hotel is located outside the city center, but this is very easy accesible by car or by public transport. Tram and bus stop basicly infront of the hotel ( 1 minute walk ). And because its located outside the city center its not as busy as it is in the center. Breakfast was great too, fresh bread, cake and more every morning and the host is there if you have any questions. They can help you what to do and where to go and how to go there. Rooms are clean, big enough for 2 and have a good and spacious bathroom.
