Location..an idylic island resort with all resort comfort like clean rooms, beds and services, including restaurants, bar and spa, pool, scuba dive facilities, kayaks..nice sea breeze, ocean views, fresh sea air..ideal for relaxation or corporate away events.

An earlier check in instead of 2 pm would be great as first ferry leaves at 10 am for the 20 minute ferry ride from the mainland to the resort.. otherwise, half the day is gone by the time one checks in..bags are stored and one can enjoy other services in the meantime, but nicer to put your bags away in your room on check in at the resort.

Great hotel just 40 minutes (bus + boat) from POM Airport. Free return transfer from the airport. Beautiful pool and great water villas facing sunrise. I made mistake with the date of arrival, hotel sent the bus but …… my plane arrived one day later. For the hotel it wasn’t a problem, they sent the bus and made a change in our reservation without any extra fees. Great service, thank you once again. Excellent place to stay very close to Port Moresby (which is not unsafe as described) with great diving options not far away (there is a dive shop in hotel). Hope to see you in July again

The place exceeded my expectations and made the experience worth every kina spent😊👏it's definitely an amazing place to chill, have fun, unwind and reset by using all the facilities provided to meet your needs and expectations. The staff, facilities, the food and the place were just amazing making our stay lovely with no issues

Nothing

The island is a fabulous location so close to Port Moresby. Apart from the obvious diving possibilities around the island, it has some excellent walks on the ridge and around the shore. The hotel and rooms are very modern. The airport pickup and drop off to the Tahira jetty went smoothly.

Nothing really significant. It's unfortunate that my room had quite a few cockroaches in it (part of the main building) so some control would be good.

Location, rooms (water villas), swimming pool and dive shop. It was my second stay at Loloata. Even better then the first one. This time I could go for scuba diving and I’m very impressed. Excellent dive boat, excellent dive masters and very good dive sites (outer reef). We have seen leopard sharks, sea snakes, walking shark, white tip sharks, stone fish and lot of small stuff. Great visibility.

A lot of activities to do

There are too many rocks in the sea, especially to the small sand bank and the beach behind the island. Not enough sandy beaches. It would also be nice to have a shower/rinsing place at the beach at the back of the island. Maybe also add a slide at the jetty, just an idea.

The whole peaceful atmosphere, the sense of freedom after living in Port Moresby, the beauty of the place, the trees and gardens, the wild animals that can be observed (Wallabies, Queen Victoria pigeons), the walk across the island with breathtaking views on ocean and mountains, the kindness of all staff and Managing Director, the absolute quiet

Nice retreat, a short ferry trip from mainland. Rooms are truly spacious and outfitted with good quality chairs, bathroom equipment and balcony lounge bed.

No gym, in use as a small conference room. Starting point for the high walking route difficult to find.

Beautiful spot. We enjoyed the different activities. Nature around the rooms is impressive. From the room we could even see small manta ray. Staff was flexible and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay.

Service at the restaurant was slow and room was clean but not completely. In the balcony furniture had some buay red marks.

A great location on its own tropical island. A good choice of food on the menu, and a good standard of cooking and presentation. I recommend the seared Barramundi, probably the best local fish in PNG.

Insufficient shade by beach and pool. Almost no feta with the otherwise very tasty Greek salad. I needed to work and Zoom, but the Business Centre has been turned into a small gym - that nobody was using. Staff told us not to tip, because they don't get the money. So mean.
