As beautiful as the pictures. Central location but quiet due to rooms all facing courtyards.Upper level had cloister style corridors round courtyard with outdoor seating. Reception staff very nice with fair to good English and helpful and efficient. Impressed by the courtyard restaurant arena style roof that was closed during a rainstorm!

Be prepared for rooms having v small internal facing windows. Breakfast menu and staff fine, dinner restaurant not as impressive as you might expect but convenient.

It is a very interesting hotel, being a converted convent. In this respect, the property has a lot of character and was what I was expecting. The location is super-convenient!

Some of the newer-looking furniture in the rooms is actually worn out, not seeming to be the highest quality. There were lots of scuff and rub marks, which appeared pale against the otherwise dark furniture (TV stand/dresser, tables in room etc). The furniture in the rooms is simply not to the standard of the building and shows poorly. The room automatically looked "tired". Breakfast service at the restaurant was disorganized and we were not served food at the same time. The coffee is really bad! It was much too weak! We asked to have new coffee brewed and it was barely better. The restaurant needs to double the amount of coffee grounds to make this coffee to the standard of nearby quality dine-in restaurants.

location, history of the building

we got assigned a room that didn’t resemble the pictures I saw when I made reservation. extremely small room , no space for walking. I didn’t have a nightstand and I had to make a tower of pillows in order to put my phone, water and watch. I went to complain to the front desk and I show them the picture of what I reserved and what I got. the lady at the front desk said: I’m sorry but Thai is the same type of room you booked. the pictures were wrong!!! it was not until I told her I was going to publish the pictures I had taken showing the pillow tower and the lack of space and storage until she said she will move me to another room ,,the new room was exactly what I had reserved.

We are personally well acquainted with this gorgeous ex-convent property of beautiful architecture and elegant decor and furniture. Fantastic location in the heart of the historic city centre.

The shower cubicle was big but the shower itsel was small thus one had to stand in one spot almost near the water taps. There was a water leak from the edge of the shower which made the bath mat get every time anyone had a shower - a touch up of silicone might fix it.

Location: walking distance to most attractions and VERY good restaurants. Interesting building. People very nice.

No in-room amenities. Have to ask for coffee, tea set-ups from room service. I think Covid is not a good excuse any more. Front desk not fully equipped with tourist maps, sights and such. Had to go to another hotel for print information. I think most of their business derives from localized travelers/business people.

The property is gorgeous! The location is near everything in the historical downtown area and very safe. The staff was very nice and always ready to assist. The breakfast in the open área was delicious and the ambiance wonderful. On the weekend there was a pianist playing while we ate and it was beautiful! The food was always fresh and offered a variety of the local dishes or traditional breakfast. fresh omelettes are an option. In the evening we would enjoy a drink in the bar and took in the day’s activities. Adriana our bartender was excellent! Overall I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Puebla. Also, although I went as a couple, I loved that it is a family friendly option as well.

It felt very safe to walk to and from sightseeing and not worry about walking back.

We liked the location, and the authentic style and scenery. It is really a beautiful hotel, and rooms are comfortable and clean. It is spot on in the city centre, but we had a very quiet room.

On Booking you can choose different rooms with different bed sizes. We chose the superior double with large beds (1.50-1.80), however upon arrival we got a room with small beds (1.30m), and they said they don’t have large beds in the hotel, all are matrimonial. They said that 1.50 is the width and 1.80 the length, which was both incorrect. It was definitively not what we booked. Traveling with 2 kids it would be impossible to sleep this way. After quite some discussion they added a single bed to our room. All of this fuss could have been avoided with correct information on the site.

Historic building with attentive staff , lovely dining in courtyard and in a great location .newspaper delivered each morning Excellent breakfast , bar was good too

The room was a bit cramped and a big 15th year birthday party kept us up into the night. A quinta real shouldn't book these sorts of events ... a mark on their reputation

The building is absolutely charming. It has the vibe we were looking for typical Puebla experience. It was super quiet, check out hour is at 1 pm so it gives us some extra time to enjoy the morning. The location is very good. We had problems with the wifi signal in our room but quickly the staff gave us an extra router that solve the problem immediately.

The window curtains didn't close completely. We did a workaround with hangers to close it totally. The bed mattress was sinking in the middle.

very well place in the centro 2 blocks from the zocalo, hotel quiet and with a lot of cacher in this hold covento. room comfortable estacionamento and valet service

Breakfast, a buffet, was not at the standard of such hotel. Except the omelette counter, the rest was so so .... And in the Governor suite, which is supposed to be one of the best, the a light just at the entrance of the room outside that remains on during all the night and inside the curtain don't overlap well enough leaving a space tho the light though the window above the room door lightning the room during te night . SO unconvenient.
