Clean friendly staff

I thought it was false advertising stating it had a pool and only after paying for the stay receiving an email saying pool was closed at the weekends

Close access to Aberdeen, very clean throughout, very good breakfast, great value for money.

Bit disappointing that I had to pay an extra 6 pound for parking overnight at the hotel, where I already paid 88 pound for the room, also there was no shower gel/shampoo in the room for me to wash myself with, I was staying there as my partner was giving birth in Aberdeen and was kept in overnight after the birth of the baby so I had to stay at a hotel, didn’t have any toiletries with me as expected the hotel would have them, had to end up cleaning my body with the tiny hand soap bar that you would wash your hands with.

I truly enjoyed my stay at the property. The staff was exceptionally welcoming and went above and beyond to make sure all my needs were met. The service was prompt and attentive, ensuring a comfortable and hassle-free experience. The cleanliness and upkeep of the room were impressive, with thoughtful details that made my stay extra special. The property’s location was very convenient, being close to my office and a supermarket. Overall, it was a delightful experience, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel to others.

Overall, my stay was very pleasant; however, there were a couple of minor issues. The safe in the room wasn’t functioning properly, likely due to a battery issue, which was a bit inconvenient. Additionally, while the breakfast was enjoyable, the selection of fresh fruit felt a bit limited. Addressing these small areas would make the experience even better

The Hotel itself has a great feel to it when you enter with the staff at the desk very nice, the room and pool were excellent as were the meals, the attention you get from the staff is also very good with everyone very helpful and keen to make your experience while with them a good one. We meet Sammie while having our evening and she was really good to chat with as were others as mentioned. Shall be coming to stay again this year for sure a few times as enjoy the whole experience.

There was nothing that came to us that needed attention, as I feel if you have to look for something that is not right straight away then it is not a true reflection.

Good location for attending events at the P&J. Was approx 1.5miles from arena (we walked there in approx 30 minutes). Plenty of parking outside hotel (tho it does cost £6 per 24hrs). Payment machine to get discount rate is in hotel. Check in was smooth and stress free. Bar/Restaurant staff were able to squeeze us in for an early dinner despite being swamped with bookings. Rachel (I think) was really friendly and helpful taking our order as was the on-duty manager (didn’t get his name- bloke in glasses) who didn’t seem to stop as he looked after the guests. The room itself was a good size, the bed was very comfy and was perfect for our one night stay. We also managed to fit in using the pool, which was warm and not too busy. Changing facilities were spotless. The jacuzzi was out of commission however. Breakfast in the morning was buffet style and comprised of both continental and cooked items, all of which were fresh and plentiful. We are in Aberdeen fairly often as our kids play ice hockey against the teams from Aberdeen and I think we have found our new base when we are up again.

Nothing really, although I’m never fully comfortable with hotel guests having to play to use the hotel carpark.

Requested a fridge in the room for medication in advance got no reply. Upon arrival was told I would need to upgrade my room for an extra £25 or the hotel could keep the medication in their fridge. I declined the upgrade cost as it was only for 1 night, arrived in my room to find it had a fridge. Found this strange that reception didn’t know this small detail. However this didn’t dampen our stay so not a criticism as the receptionist was very helpful this point is just to let others know in advance.

The ambience was really good for a family stay especially for one who pops in for relaxation. 1.cleanliness in the room, toilet and pool area are neat Including the bedding. 2.ammenties in the room are good and in good order 3. Wifi is good 4. Bar and other options are good. 5. Could provide the menu to the rooms for guests to order food to the room as well.

1. The lady at the reception didn't seem caring but it was only that one the other 3 I met were really helpful and caring. 2. No lift in the property for accessing 2nd floor. 3. The new paint smell in the staircase lobby. 4. Car park for guests staying is 6Gbp/night 5. No room service to get us extra towels to the room, instead I had to go down to the reception to collect it.

Check in was smooth with no issues , the restaurant was clean and was very comfortable, the meal and service was exceptional all the staff very pleasant and couldn’t do enough for you , even the owner of the hotel was on the restaurant floor working extremely hard and has a brilliant manner with the guests and created a brilliant dinning experience definitely five stars from us .

Some of the family went swimming later in the afternoon , but when they went in they found that the jacuzzi was covered up and was not available for them to use which was a shame as it was the only negative I have for my stay

Every staff member we met from reception/bar/restaurant/swimming pool could not fault from the minute we arrived it felt like we had already spent a week there they went above and beyond when we checked in the manger even came out and because we were a big booking he put us all together so the rooms were joined, had dinner the first night absolutely amazing meals had by all great flavors and sizes for the price, great family friendly environment.

Only issue was the mattress topper pulled out a couple of feathers threw the night but once they were removed it was fine.

The reception area of the property is beautiful, really stunning decor with a lovely check in desk. The rooms, whilst older in decor, are really comfortable, and super clean. The restaurant was really decent too. Gavin was really lovely, and we felt really welcomed even during a busy period with the event at p&j being on.

Charging for parking as a hotel guest is a little much in my opinion. I understand the airport is near the hotel and it could bring unwanted car parking, but paying guests should be offered parking included.
