Our room was was a good size and well furnished with views across the gardens and surrounding agricultural land. Our hostess was very welcoming and helpful. We were pleased to be handed a list of pubs and restaurants in the locality that offered an evening meal. Breakfast offered all the usual selections. The property is in a rural area but my Sat Nav had no difficulty in finding the location. The house is set well back from the road but is easily identified by its name on the entrance gate post. The letters are large and can be read from the road.

Excellent location - not too close to the city, not too far. Anne was a pleasant, outgoing hostess. We came with dirty clothes and she washed them for us - bonus!!! Our family room had an amazing view of the area which we celebrated with wine & a cheese board. The other guests were friendly; we related our adventures over our full breakfast. Would recommend Anne and HCH to all.

If the jacuzzi was up and running - dismantled to add more rooms. Details on how to work the shower - it was an experience determining how to get it to work.

Very attractive new build in extensive gardens, Room and bathroom very good and modern.Breakfast to order very good but rather understaffed. A lovely lounge area for guests.

Obviously a really ambitious project all round but starting to need a little more care and attention especially the gardens and what was a large swimming pool extension but now closed and going to be converted to extra accommodation.A lovely country location but quite far from any pubs or restaurants

I own an Irish American tour company and of the hundreds of B&Bs I have stayed in this was hands down the ultimate experience. Anne McCarthy the owner made sure our experience at her gorgeous Frank Lloyd style modern home outside in a beautiful country setting outside of Adare was wonderful. From the drive up the tree lined estate, to the spacious well appointed rooms with expansive balconies to the delicious Irish breakfast cooked and served by Anne herself it was a relaxing break from leading my tour. Thank you Anne for the warm welcome and your generous hospitality ☘️💯!

Breakfast was lovely and kept us full for the day. The location was perfect for us as we were visiting relatives close by. The property grounds are very, very pretty and our room was clean and comfortable. We stayed overnight, traveled for a few days and came back to stay again at the end of our trip. We were so happy to return.

Very nicely furnished room and a comfortable, modern bath. Good breakfast, good, clean accommodations. Expect a lively greeting by the owner’s (adorable) dogs!

If you need to grab lunch or dinner, there’s not many places where you can eat nearby. And if you want anything other than classic pub food, you’ll have to drive about 20 min.

The owner was so welcoming and helpful. She went out of her way to make my stay pleasant and comfortable The room was spacious , very comfortable and beautifully decorated. The breakfast was fabulous as were the views . I would highly recommend this property, it has the charm and luxury of a rural hidden gem , but you can be into the city in 15 minutes.

Location is beautiful. House is spacious. Space to relax.

Long way to travel for evening meal. Breakfast, only one cup of coffee but a teapot of tea for my partner. Poor porridge. Had to ask for jam, etc and then an open jar 'found' in the cupboard. Lovely fresh fruit, strawberries, raspberries and blueberries the spoilt by gooseberries (good) but still with flower and stalk on. Felt 'in the way'. Cobweb in bathroom by toilet. Only one bedside lamp working.

Breakfast was freshly cooked and delicious. Anne was very attentive. There is a nice large sitting room, where I was able to relax and read my book.

It's a bit off the beaten track for my purpose - travel for work. Although the directions for going into Raheen were much more straightforward than the Google map route!!

An amazing large property, beautifully designed garden, modern architectural design house with old style quality furniture. Anne is a lovely, friendly host. 3 friendly dogs and 2 horses. Balcony for every bedroom. Quiet pastoral setting. Would recommend.
