I have been travelling for 3 months all over Australia, this room was easily the best room I have stayed in. The room was very well presented, the bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was great, but the shower moved this room to the top of the list, exceeding some 5-star rooms I have stayed in. The owner was very welcoming and the price and location, you couldn't beat it. A hidden Gem.

Only petty, but the owners suggestions for restaurants. I suggest doing your own research as there are some nice hidden restaurants around town.

Wonderful stay. Room very clean and bed very comfortable. Room was spacious and well considered with places to store luggage. Fridge, microwave and basic crockery was a nice option to prepare light meals and snacks. Location convenient, walking distance to town and nearby RSL. Staff very friendly and helpful. Would stay again!

Great location near the centre of town, huge family room with king bed and two single beds in an adjoining room. Good size TV, bathroom was very spacious, good water pressure. Comfortable bed.

Smoking was allowed outside the rooms; with tables/chairs and ashtrays available. This was terrible for us non-smokers, constantly breathing in secondhand smoke as we entered or left our room when someone was smoking. Surely, smoking should not be allowed on the premises in 2023. The only bad thing about our stay. Minor truck noise from main road.

I have stayed here four times, I feel safe and 3/4 rooms have had great aircon. Every room is very clean and the staff are friendly. Best accomodation In Parkes.

Great motel, best in Parkes everything has been great other than one small improvement, fixing the aircon in room 11. :) other than that every time has been perfect.

This is the 2nd time I have stayed at Astro Dish Motor Inn. Convenient location, lovely & clean, spacious, comfortable bed, nicely fitted bathroom, air-conditioned with microwave & tea & coffee facilities. Staff friendly & helpful. Great for my one night stay.

Very clean and comfortable. Spacious with kitchen utensils and microwave.

Lots of trucks day and night going past hotel especially because of good growing season and good harvest. This will change in 2025 as bypass completed.

The location is very good in that one may walk to the local RSL, which has great facilities, and easily get to the Parkes Observatory.

All was good and I particularly liked the peace and quiet one enjoyed in the rear rooms.

The check-in was seamless, room was spotless and well proportioned, wifi signal was strong and location couldn't be better for a stay in Parkes.

The restaurant and bar was closed but we were so close to everything it wasn't an issue.

Convenient location on the main highway through Parkes. A short stroll to the town centre and its amenities. Very helpful owner who directed us to a pub which did excellent food and was off the beaten track. Breakfast was served in rooms and ordered the night before. Always turned up on time. Restaurant on site but limited menu - very nice food though Because we stayed 4 nights we were upgraded to a larger room. Plenty of on-site car parking spaces

The location was a bit noisy because it was on the main highway and giant lorries thunder through all night. The worst noise though cam intermittently from the railway line - grain trains being readied.

The location was suitable for my requirements, it was easy walking distance to the Railway Bowling Club, the RSL and the shopping centre. I had dinner one night, it was delicious and was delivered to my room in a timely manner. The staff regularly asked was there anything I needed.

I was happy with everything that the motel could control. The only issue was trucks using Bogan St but the motel has no control over them, plus I'm a light sleeper so hear everything.
