The cottages are super cute. They are spacious and laid out nicely to maximize privacy but not sacrificing any of the beauty. The beds are nice and comfy. Having the little kitchenette was a huge bonus, I have a shellfish allergy and dining out in Chinoteague is a bit difficult sometimes because every single restaurant is seafood heavy in their options, so we were able to cook with ease.The complimentary bikes are a great feature and we took advantage of being able to ride around the island. Each cottage has a deck and there is also a little private beach where you can sit and watch the sunrises/sunsets. This was our second time staying here and we have loved each time. I have never seen so many butterflies in one area as we have at Key West Cottages. They have the right mixture of plants to make sure you can enjoy these beautiful creatures.

Just wish there was something used for anti slip measures in the tub. A couple of times my husband almost slipped.

Loved having our own space in these beachy, well keeped cottages. Staying here definitely made a great 1st impression on our 1st time visiting Chincoteague Island. One thing that we thought was extra nice was that you can control the temperature in each room of the cottage.

We can't say anything we didn't like during this stay. The only negative thought we had was that the floors weren't clean enough to our liking. We did not inform them until checkout, but I'm positive they would have cleaned them instantly if we asked.

The cottages are nicely laid out, they have everything you’d need during your stay, a kitchenette area, living space, bedroom and bathroom. The decor is cute and welcoming. The landscaping on the ground is lovely with colorful plants around each corner. The pool area was super nice, it’s got a lower area for kids or to lay in the lounge chairs, and the ledge to sit in around the sides is nice. The beach area is perfect to watch the sunset.

I honestly can’t think of anything off the top of my head, we had a great time.

The cottages and facilities were BEAUTIFUL!! The staff were all very friendly. Really appreciated the carts for loading/unloading. Every detail was thought of...lights for loss of power and clothes steamers. Pool was nice and big and beachy area was great!! Landscaping was gorgeous!! Big tvs in all areas were nice!!

Living area was tight for 4 people, but the bedrooms and bathrooms were great. It would be nice that a place that sleeps 4 would have a seat for 4 people in the living area.

the parking as it is now. building too many cottages in the same area. no parking or turning around available. our spot used to have room for at least 3 cars. we were lucky to have room to park our truck. there were times we had to back in and out of a long drive down a one car lane to get to our cottage. if the cottage near to us had been filled it would have made it tuff to turn around for us. not as beautiful if and area like it used to be. putting in too many cottages in such a small amount of space. it ruining how beautiful the view was.

The cottages were beautiful and clean, the perfect amount of space for the three of us. The little porch looked out to the water and marsh island with a beautiful view at sunset! The location was amazing, right as you entered town. I thought the proximity to the bridge might be disruptive, but not at all! And the pool was still open and heated on November 11th! In season this might be out of my price range, but they were perfectly priced for my off season visit.

The cottages! We had so much privacy, but still felt like a part of the resort community in the pool and beach areas, a great perk for a girl’s trip! We also really appreciated your lovely staff - so helpful and rescued us with a deck of cards for a game night and had great information about local eats, shopping, sightseeing, etc. It was also wonderful to be able to visit the local seafood markets (Gary Howard’s for the win) and prepare our own meals with Chincoteague oysters and scallops, so delicious! Just a really wonderful trip and I’m hoping to visit again with my husband and son - loved it!!!

Location and access to the island is excellent. Property is clean and easily navigable. All the staff were lovely giving off that small town charm that everyone should have. Love the layout and decor. Beds were super comfortable. The kitchen was a perfect size for a short or extended stay.

The pocket doors need an accessible pull latch for when the door is fully retracted into the door jam. A little “what’s happening in Chincoteague this week/weekend” as a display and on a Key West Cottages app would be great, as well as where to eat, where to rent kayak/paddle boards, island boat tour options. On the other side of the property map, all that can be printed or have a map of main roads and biking/hiking trails on the island.

everything about the property has been carefully thought out. It’s beautiful when you first walk into the lobby and check in from when you take the path to the cottages. The cottage itself is well appointed, surrounded by water, and some cottages overlook the pool, which is wonderful.  You’re within walking distance to the main shopping and dining areas and the cottages will loan you a free bikes to ride around.  They have free laundry for their guests, a picnic area with tables and Grill, as well as for a fire pit. The pool has floats, and they provide beach towels. You really don’t need to worry about anything, it’s a wonderful place. We will definitely be back.

We loved the location and the littel cottage was perfect. The pool was nice, the ambiance of the place is great. I wished we were stayed there 2 nights instead of one

I thought we were going to have an actual beach to swim in. It's advertised as private beach, but you can't swim in it. I like the view and the "beach area" but it wasn't actually a beach. Also, it's not pet friendly we have a dog and a cat that couldnt come along with us.
