I will definitely start take care with the property's rating on Booking.com. Most guests are European or American, and they value "friendliness", smiling, waving, calling by name and find it beautiful to stay in a homely atmosphere. They don't care about comfort, high standard of services, quality of bed, furniture, shower, 24-hour reception and everything that a reasonable hotel has, expensive investment objective. But they don't give a good evaluation because they consider the treatment to be impersonal. This is the case with this hotel. Large room, comfortable, good wifi, safe and quiet. Great and efficient staff. The only problem was the air conditioning: Caserta is hot even in November and the air conditioning drops the temperature to 21 degrees and takes a while to cool down The solution is to go into the room to sleep and turn it on to 21 degrees so that in the end you have a temperature of perhaps 23 or 25 degrees in the room.

The room was clean, spatious and with modern furnish. The hot tub in the bathroom was very nice. Breakfast amazing with everything including fresh sfogliatelle, pastries cakes and savory options. Location right outside the private covered parking below the Reggia, very convenient to leave the car and walk around in the center. Staff was very nice. Very good value, I would go back.

No free parking at the hotel. The gym is quite small and opens only at 8AM.

Location was great but the photo on the web was of the location here not the hotel. Plus the parking next door was fantastic - first come first serve parking upfront. So - if you arrive at the hotel just look to your right quickly before you go under the tunnel. Park there. Otherwise nice place and decent food right around it. The little cafe next door sells water later at night if you need it.

For the price it was perfect. Americans like to complain - we do not. I've traveled a lot this was a nice place. Breakfast was perfect.

We chose this hotel because it was close to the train station (we came up from Naples by train), the Royal Palace (our main reason for visiting Caserta), and car rental outlets (we left in a rental car to visit the Campanian wine country. We were perfectly satisfied with our choice, the location perfect for our needs as well as being close to the centre of town (for window shopping) and good restaurants (there is an in-house restaurant, but we ate dinner elsewhere). The room was comfortable and well appointed.

No major complaints.

The staff was remarkable and friendly. They helped us tremendously with our transportation between cities and had good references for local restaurants. The bellman was welcoming when we checked in and offered us tea and coffee. We had a room with a view of the Palace. It was incredible! Finally the location is right next to the Palace. Visit the nearby midevil town 20 min away too!

Perfect location, close to station, close to palace and gardens, close to restaurants. Fantastic staff especially in the restaurant. They were happy to converse in English and clearly explained items in menu. Breakfast was excellent. I would stay here then travel to Naples to learn ok around.

There was nothing I did not like.

Well appointed room, close to the railway station and the Royal Palace.

On checking out, the receptionist made us wait a very long time just to pay for 2 bottles of water and to give us our account. We wanted to get going and she seemed to like to make us wait.

This is a really nice hotel in an excellent location. Modern rooms and a good restaurant. Really enjoyed our stay and the staff were very helpful.

There was a bad smell in the bathroom of our room. The staff tried to get it fixed, but it remained throughout our stay.

The retro round bed was extremely comfortable. The shower was huge and had lots of shower heads and options. The pillows were more comfortable than any others we encountered in Italy. The location was convenient to the train station.

The room had a fun retro vibe but the sitting area furniture was worn and the vinyl was starting to crack a little. it made me worry that the mattress would be old too but the bed was great.

Good breakfast, clean, next to the castle, nice personnel. Good sound-proofed rooms, efficient aircon, large bathroom.

Just a few narrow parking lots in front of the hotel (maybe 6-7 of them) and the access to these is via a large but ... one-way street. So if you happen to arrive from another street, no way to get there. This happened to us so we could not reach the entrance to at least un-load the baggages. So we had to get to the underground parking and drag our stuff up and all the way to the hotel. And by the way, the escalators, elevators and such are not working in the underground parking so good luck carrying the large baggage upstairs.
