It is the authentic Roman dream. The rooms are in the former home of a surgeon. Getting to your room is as exciting an experience as walking through the best of Rome. It is true that everything is old, time has not passed there and it is not for comfortable travelers who prefer the comforts of a standard hotel. But I will return without a doubt. The landscaped interior patio is a dream. An unforgettable trip to the past. I would ask that it never be renewed. Just minimal maintenance please. Wonderful place

The things people complain about. Are true. but it's dies not matter. Beauty can overcome comfort

I really liked the old atmosphere and location of the apartment. The apartment is located on a lovely quiet street with galleries, even though the parallel street is very busy. There are many restaurants nearby. the terrace is simply incredible! Very beautiful and atmospheric, birds sing in the morning and you want to sit on the terrace and enjoy.

The room itself is outdated, it requires at least minimal restoration: replace the towels for fresh ones, blanket, blanket on the bed with new ones, I was also surprised that there are no slippers in the room, I had to wear shoes, which is very inconvenient. There is no kettle in the common room, and there was coffee only on the first day, on the second, when we went out to drink coffee, the plate was empty. I really hope the owner fixes this so that guests don't have to think about such little things that ruin the experience of their stay.

Loved the location, loved the decor and the authentic Italian feel it brought. It was tucked away from the street and felt really secluded- like a secret garden. The host was incredibly helpful and friendly and the booze shelf was very generous!

There was nothing I disliked about the property. We would have loved some more coffee cups and for the WiFi details to be readily available, but really, these are incredibly minor details of an overall incredible experience.

Nothing, it was perfect!

This property is in a great location. The room was clean, beds comfortable, and the shower as delightful. Miguel was absolutely fabulous, very responsive to questions and texts.

The walls are a bit thin…the gentleman from London really enjoyed his Roman holiday.

Not being met on arrival by host but his Italian neighbours very helpful and hospitable whilst we waited. Having to remind host to advise us of Wi-Fi details. Chased him for a tv remote also. No cups for coffee maker.

The location is brilliant as it is close to Piazza del Popolo. The B&B is very charming and the photos capture its full potential - depending on the weather, you might not get exactly those views. The host was very gracious and responded quickly, we had water and coffee on the house and the common spaces with the terrace are beautiful.

The suite was low lit, which is not ideal for reading but it is a matter of personal taste - it does make the room atmospheric. We could hear other guests nearby so the counterside to the homely feeling is a bit of noise. If you have one night in Rome and are looking for a fancy location and to treat your self, I woud not recommend this place.

Loved the rustic charm and felt like old Rome. Miguel was fabulous, so nice and helpful. Carried our bags, gave good dining suggestions and organised a taxi for us which we were finding difficult.

It was too expensive for what it is. Definitely not luxury with the bathroom needing a renovation.

I felt like I stepped into "Room With A View" The setting is nothing short of stunning. And the location is supreme. For anyone who enjoys high end shopping, or merely window shopping, great restaurants and some choice tourist spots within walking distance, u can't top this lodging. With a lovely host.

This beautiful place is ideal for the experienced traveler. Or knows their way around Rome. Someone not requiring front desk support. If you are that traveler, don't miss this spot. The perfect romantic getaway. or, merely to stir the romantic in you.

very beautiful room with a great view

can be quite cold and the AC doesn’t keep the room super warm however i feel like this is just normal when you have an apartment in a old building and two balconies in your room
