We really liked the Hotel Mariners and its location. It is a very old building, so you have to expect everything that comes with that. Yes, it looks a little tiered in places, but we felt this added to the character of a buliding that's lived a life. We both really liked it, it was quaint, but welcoming and staff very friendly. Room was spacious and warm. Food was very good and we recommend the cooked breakfast. Evening bar well patronised by the locals and a very cosy 'pub' feel to it. Parking on site was fine. Also highly recommend the Seven Spice Fun Dinning Indian restaurant, which is a 5 minute walk away, very good, but book if a weekend!

There wasn't much we didnt like. Bathroom in room could do with refurbishment, as looking quite worn. It was all functional though and all worked, with shower and bath!

I love the hotel very much, it is located in the centre of Haverfordwest. It is very historic building but it has a modern look to it. The beds were also very comfortable and the breakfast is delicious.

The only down fall to our room was we could hear the neighbour using the bathroom within the walls next to our room. Everytime they flushed the toilet or used the taps I would hear the pipes make a loud noise which wasn’t nice because this would happen during the night too.

Breakfast was well presented and nicely done( ie:Bacon not well done)choice of preferred egg was welcome also Did not have dinner so cannot comment Room was okay but could have done with a bit more space

Can’t find anything I didn’t like staff were friendly and helpful & informative There were pamphlets available to take giving information on activities in the surrounding areas Buses were in short supply but taxis turned out a decent fare & taxi drivers were very good

Breakfast - Excellent, but could be a little earlier in the Sunday (say 8am rather than 8:30, although we were able to start breakfast at 8:15) Room was spacious. Location for the parts of the Coastal Path we were walking Plenty of car parking, easy to find

Bed - Double bed a standard size & a bit on the soft bouncy side , would prefer a firmer King or larger, the room is large enough to take a larger bed Window frames could do with a better clean, & a better clean of the bath, but acceptable

Excellent stay as a base to explore further afield. Staff very friendly, welcoming and helpful - nothing too much for them. The evening meal in-house for our first night, after travelling all day, was very good. Good real ale on the bar as well (always a bonus with me). Rooms very comfortable and spacious - as was the bathroom. Centrally located in the town - only a short walk to the shops etc and other pubs. Breakfast was varied and very good. Spacious parking at the rear too. Overall I was happy with the place and thought it good value for money all considered. Very characterful place. Oh, and if you get a chance to go to Milford Haven - check out their theatre there - had a fabulous Frankie Valli event there - as well as excellent restaurant food too - well worth a visit.

Okay, it's an old hotel, so all the corridors and stairs may get on some people's nerves a bit, but I didn't mind. However, if you have serious mobility issues then maybe it's not for you, as it is a listed building and so no lifts can be put in. The one-way system in town may be a bit confusing to the un-initiated, and some parts of the town are a little past their best - but that's hardly the hotel's fault is it?

Food and service was fantastic! The room was large and comfortable with a walk 8n wardrobe, tea and coffee facilities, iron and ironing board and a small desk. Room has evidently been recently re carpeted which was nice. The hotel is 400 years old and clearly has a lot of history, the welcome pack is the room describes this.

Whilst my stay was enjoyable the room was dated, the water pressure in the shower was pitiful, there were cobwebs in the room above bedside lamps and in door corners. TV remote didn't work with TV in the room. Due to the heat over the weekend windows had to be left open no fly screens resulted in a large quantity of small flies in the room

The character of the property. An old building whose decor created the right ‘feel’; contemporary but subtle, welcoming and comfortable. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. The restaurant and bar is very well laid out and the food is excellent. The hotel has its own parking, a big plus.

Nothing!

Friendly welcome and quick check-in on arrival. Ample parking at the hotel. Room was clean, comfortable and well equipped with tea/coffee facilities, toiletries etc. Bar/Restaurant welcoming, with good service - especially enjoyed the evening meal, plenty of it and well presented. Location couldn't be better, a short walk to the Haverfordwest High Street (maybe 200 mts) past the old church. Will definitely consider staying here again if ever in the area.

Nothing really bad to say, enjoyed the stay.

Excellent location in the centre of town with parking and well signposted. The Breakfast was very good and the dining area spacious. The option for a continental breakfast brought to your room if departing earlier than breakfast is a bonus. Rooms clean and tidy and well equipped.

The property is a little dated but maintained to a high standard and all worked well.

Arr, me matey! I be hearin' ye enjoyed yer stay at Hotel Mariners, aye? Well, let me tell ye, it be a treasure of a place! The rooms be cozy like a pirate's cabin, and the staff be friendly as a parrot. The scurvy dogs at the front desk be helpin' me with all me needs. The breakfast be fit for a captain, with plenty o' grub to fill yer belly. And the view from me window be like gazin' out at the endless sea. I be givin' Hotel Mariners a hearty "Yo ho ho!" rating! ⚓️🏴‍☠️

Nothing ye scurvy land lubbers!
