Location was perfect, across the road from the Old Town and 25mins walk to the Marina, because it was boiling hot I wasn't to sure about walking in the middle of the day, next to the Hotel was a little train for (€7 hop off and On all day), we jumped on this for our Boat trip to see the Benogil cave, after we finished we hopped back on the little train and back to the hotel. Room was clean everyday, Air-con was a blessing you needed it, and the sea view wow, excellent breakfast. Dinner in the Hotel was fantastic and fresh every day, a great range of Portuguese food and the staff at the restaurant were really welcoming and friendly, especially Sarah, Shahadat and Eduardo. Luis at the bar was also friendly and made the best cocktails. We arrived late on our first night 1am and there was some dinner left for us in our room, which was a nice touch.

Nothing bad at all, Just carry a little bit of cash, not all shops or seller's down by the beach, Do cash only.

Location is excellent and the views are second to none. Breakfast selection is good.

Wifi had to always reconnect. They don't refill coffee pods or bottle water, you only receive these items on your first night stay. So staying there for 2 weeks we had to buy are own coffee pods and bottle water, makes it inconvenient and felt like the hotel is cheap trying to save a couple of dollars. No beach chairs they are privately run and cost 5 euros per lounger.

Position of hotel is unbeatable. Food was always good. Hotel in excellent condition. Great drinks at the rainbow bar.

Some of the guests were very loud. Only two coffee pods all week. More variety in evening entertainment as the pianist was good but played 6 out of 7 nights.

I stayed there for about 4 weeks in December. Loved the room and the view with my little private balcony overlooking the beach and sea. Perfect. Staff were very helpful and very nice and accommodating for any requests, breakfast buffet had big variety and the hot food was well cooked with good ingredients.

The view from the room right in front of the beach. There is a balcony so you can feel as being outside and relax to the sound of the sea. You can hear the sea, specially at night you can fall asleep to it. (The balcony door isolates it greatly too). The breakfast was very good, a variety of fruit, broad, drinks and sweets. The staff was nice and friendly.

The sound proofing is not that good, walls seem very thin, so sometimes you hear other people talking or walking around (not too much bothrr though). The pool had to be booked and it was quite hidden down below so you couldn't enjoy great views from it.

On arriving at he hotel we were invited into breakfast, which was still ongoing. We were not expecting this, and we thought it was a lovely gesture, especially since we had been travelling from Manchester since 1.30am that morning. It was a very welcome experience. We also found all the staff very welcoming and helpful - reception, catering, and domestic staff were very friendly and did all they could for us to make our stay enjoyable. We loved the position of our room and the complete sea view which it offered. The balcony gave us a lovely view all day long and at night too.

Minor maintenance items outstanding at the time of our stay: Safe/strong-box not working, requires a new battery; bathroom sink plug not holding water, sealing ring missing from pop-up waste fitting; light bulb in bathroom not working; toilet seat becoming loose. None of these impacted on the enjoyment of our stay in any way. We would have welcomed the Kitchen attempting a curry and/or other Asian dishes at some point. Also, pouring sauces would have helped some of the dishes, for instance on dishes such as the battered hake; also pouring cream would have been nice to have for the dessert gateaux. But overall, we found the food quite acceptable. Some dishes did not have labels identifying what they were.

The design of the hotel meant you could go straight onto the beach from the ground floor, and out into the old town from the 5th floor. The bedroom and bathroom were large, plus there was a nice balcony, with a beautiful view over the beach and the sea. Very good choice at breakfast.

There were no proper towel rails, folded up towels are okay until you use them, plus we had pool towels, so there were always damp towels, with just two very small knobs to hang everything. Some of the hot items at breakfast were almost cold. The evening entertainment was poor. Just one evening with a good singer, otherwise very boring choice of music.

We loved everything about our stay at this hotel—from its fantastic proximity to the beach and restaurants to the incredible team that made us feel so welcome. Eduardo's warm greetings every morning at breakfast set a delightful tone for our days, and we truly appreciated the thoughtful touches, such as the light dinner awaiting us in our room upon arrival and the packed breakfast before our early departure. A special thank you for the bottle of bubbly to celebrate my husband's birthday; it made our trip even more memorable. The comfortable room and the staff's helpful local recommendations added the perfect finishing touches to our getaway! Massive shout out to the housekeeping team. We can't wait to return !😍

Directions to pool

Great location, right on the beach on one side and to the market/restaurants on the other side. Room was comfy and large enough, lots of wardrobe space. Very good breakfast.

The room had a weird smell, also lots of plastic around (all glasses/cups and also the sink was made in some sort of plastic material), it makes it feel a little cheap. I asked for a kettle for the room, I got one within 2mins but not after an half argument with one of the reception ladies (when I booked it said there was supposed to be one, but there wasn't, and the coffee machine to me doesn't count as a "plain hot water making" option)

The room was nice, clean and spacious. We had a lovely sea view and large balcony. The location was central - close to the old town and it was easy to get around for walking, shopping, dining, and hikes. The breakfast options were good and the staff in the dining room were very helpful and accommodating. The beach is large and beautiful with lots of chairs and activities close by.

There was a strange "sulphur" odour in our room when we arrived. We opened the balcony door and it seemed to dissipate. Each time we came back to the room after it had been locked up the odour was back and seemed to linger around the patio door area until we opened the patio door. Not terribly offensive but I mention this anyway. There were no tissues in the bathroom. We asked the front desk thinking the maid forgot to leave a box and were told they only provide toilet paper. We thought this was strange.
