Honestly had my doubts during check in but when we got to our rooms, I was impressed. Booked the family room, I thought it was just big in photos but I was so wrong. Exactly how it’s pictured, so spacious. I had even booked a separate studio because I didn’t think we’d all fit. We didn’t get to use the drink vouchers or take advantage of the discounted dining but even that is a bonus. Location is also not too bad or far from a lot of things if driving a car.

Cockroach in the bathroom. One of the pillows kind of smelt like it hadn’t been washed or replaced in a long time, smelt like someone’s sweat after a long night.

We loved everything about Nightcap at Commercial. The staff were really friendly, we received a complimentary welcome drink on arrival and10% off our meals. The bed was comfy, the room was quiet, and the shower was fantastic. We were staying there because of its proximity to KDV sports where a group of us were competing in a pickleball tournament. It's literally 5 minutes away. We will be back same time next year.

The check-in instructions were not clear. In fact, they were quite confusing. Luckily, we arrived when the hotel was open, so we went onto the bar and asked. A very friendly staff member explained the process and checked us in.

The room was SO clean, air con nice and cold when we arrived, free bottles of water in the fridge and a drink voucher for the pub downstairs on arrival, comfortable beds, nice shower and the ease of access to hotel/pub restaurant downstairs. Was worried it would be noisy but the rooms were so soundproof we didn't hear a thing. Friendly reception staff met us on arrival and check out process was simply dropping keys in a box. Park across the road for little ones and petrol station and other food stores nearby as well.

This is a hidden gem. I was very surprised that rooms above a restaurant/ pub would be so quiet. There was no noise interference from downstairs at all. The restaurant was handy for dinner and there was a cafe down the street that served incredible breakfasts. The staff were fantastic, check in was quick and painless. The room was spotlessly clean. I would definitely stay here again.

The tea and coffee (and biscuits) were not replenished. Not a huge deal but it would have been nice.

30 mins before check out, the cleaner knocked persistently on the door. When I opened it, she seemed surprised. She looked at me up and down then said "checkout is at 10". It would have been a better experience if she had either waited another 10 mins and I would have been gone, or she phrased and said her words differently.

We booked the larger room, which included a loft that the kids absolutely loved. The staff were friendly and helpful. The accommodation was conveniently located above the pub, making it easy to grab a meal.

There were three TVs but only one remote, so we had to share it. Most of the windows couldn't be opened, which meant we couldn't get fresh air.

Comfy beds. Handy location. Good pub meals. Friendly, courteous staff. Special thanks to friendly helpful cleaning ladies. If you don't need to be near beach this hotel is great. Sunday markets worth a short walk. Short drive to theme parks. Handy starting point for hinterland drives. This was our third stay and we will be back.

No breakfast available at the Commercial Hotel, however lunch and dinner menus are full of your favourites. Staff are friendly and the location is perfect for attending events at Heritage Bank Stadium. Close to Nerang Station with plenty of public transport options to the Gold Coast, Pacific Fair and event the Airport. We also received 2 complimentary drinks to the value of $10 each to enjoy with our meals.

Perfect for staying close to the Metricon Stadium. The staff were fabulous!! From the moment we checked in, we were warmly welcomed - even the cleaner was so lovely and accommodating. The bar/bistro staff were also fantastic. Room was clean and beds were very comfortable. The complimentary bottled water was much appreciated. But it was definitely the staff that made this stay so fantastic!! If only all hospitality staff were like this. Thank you Kylie, Loretta, Cellic, Cathy and James (apologies if I have got your names wrong/misspelt).

We were searching a hotel for a last minutes trip and stumbled upon this one with excellent reviews. Since there were highly rate cafe nearby we decided to book it. It’s cleaned and convenient to reach . There is a pub at ground floor actually we didn’t get a chance to try it .they even offered completely two drinks / coffee .. etc
