The room was lovely and super clean, comfy bed, with a tea/coffee station, lots of extras like GHD hair straighteners and curlers, soaps and shower gels in the bathroom which were great touches for travelling when you can't bring everything with you! Also we had the bathroom with the big tub and a small balcony with a small view of the lake which was really exciting to wake up to the next morning and see blue skies and Lake Como!

Just a small thing - word of caution, we had heavy suitcases with us and had to lug them down the stairs into the property and then up stairs to our room. The lady who checked us in very kindly helped us carry them up together. Again when we were checking out we had to lug the suitcases down the stairs from our room and then back up the steps to leave the property.

The location and the room itself were exceptional! They really went above and beyond for the amenities (I’m talking GHDs ladies & gents)!! They brought us clean towels every day and also made the room all pretty.

I did pay for a ‘lake view room’ and although it technically had this I would say it’s a bit of a stretch. The lake view was a tiny square of a view that you could see from the bathroom balcony, you really couldn’t see much of the lake at all which was disappointing.i have attached a picture of the ‘lake view’.

Location was perfect. The building was very interesting from an architectural point of view and exceptionally renovated. The attention to detail by the management was astonishing. Parking was a bit of a challenge, however we managed.

Nothing really in terms of accommodation. Better access to parking would have made the experience even more enjoyable.

Breakfast was great

The staff was not willing to arranging my very early taxi pickup on my departure day. I was told to call a particular phone number to request the taxi after being on hold for over 30 to 45 minutes I gave up. I walked to another hotel and I was told that they couldn’t do any better themselves that it should’ve been prearranged the day before, I ended up having to walk to the train station in a hurry and that was unacceptable

The constant communication was fantastic. Easy check in, the design of the entire hotel including our room with a balcony was so special. European Breakfast had all you could think of. The marble all around was spectacular and the courtyard was unique and comfortable for a night cap. All of the people that work in this special place are so kind and thoughtful. There were too many items to list but they even thought of a hair dryer flat iron and curling iron and for foreign travelers that’s huge. Can’t say enough it was perfect!

We had such a wonderful stay, our suite was so beautiful! Very clean…The Bathroom was incredible , Loved the white and gold claw bathtub! We felt very comfortable and Happy! The staff were very kind and helpful in every aspect of our stay. Thank you so much Francesca for all your help!…The young man at Reception …you were wonderful! A few steps and we were walking through the board walk along the lake . So many restaurants and Cafes along the way ….We we’re so close to town… we walked there in under 10 minutes… lots to see, the historic church in town was lovely.. This place was excellent. The service from the girls also was great. Breakfast was first class. They drop the price to 120 to 130 euros when occupancy is low after 7pm ish. This place is good value anyway. At 200 euro. But 133 euro Inc breakfast was a big win for us. Stunning attention to detail and books of interest all over. Individually styled rooms. This was our best hotel exp.

Property had a great history, being the work place of a wonderful textile designer. Rooms were beautifully decorated and beds were very comfortable. Loved the morning breakfast in the main building and the proximity of the property to the lake.

You could drive up to the property to unload car without entering a ZTL, but not easy to park near by. There are several paid parking garages in Como that were suitable for overnight parking.

Everything. I was pleasantly surprised as this hotel was much nicer than I expected. The hotel is so unique and my room was very well appointed. Every detail was perfect- well decorated and comfortable. I love that they had a modern blow dryer, flat iron and curling iron in the room. There is a bidet, a towel warmer, a safe, and a fridge. The air conditioning actually works. In room toiletries included toothbrush and paste, shower cap, vanity kit. The staff was friendly and helpful and the breakfast was good. I would stay here over and over!

From the street, there could be a bigger sign to make it easier to find. The lack of an elevator makes transporting large suitcases difficult though I know this can’t really be changed.

Absolutely loves this hotel! The staff was super friendly and made sure to help me for any taxi accommodations or any questions I had. They were quick to respond on WhatsApp if I wasn’t at the hotel with a question. It is a 4 min walk from the train station lago which was super convenient. We were able to walk on the streets to the train easily with our suitcases. Loved this city it was quaint! This hotel gave me recommendations for food which we used as well! Thank you! Would absolutely stay at this hotel again!

Nothing could have been better! There are mosquitos outside so having a screen for the window would be nice if this is possible. This stay was perfect!
