- The apartment was lovely, and the view was absolutely stunning. - Check-in was easy; we arrived later than anticipated (around 9 pm) due to a road accident. The receptionist waited for us and helped us with parking directions, as well as restaurant recommendations. - The apartment is close to the city center, not even 5 minute walk to the main street. The room was also very quiet.

There was a bit of confusion, given the description of the room title. It was written as a "One-Bedroom Apartment with Terrace and Sea View," but the place was not a one-bedroom; it was a studio. A large studio but a studio nonetheless, meaning there was no separate room. For two people, it is fine, but we were three adults, with one sleeping on the bed sofa in the same room. This need to be rectified to avoid further people being confused.

Our stay at La Malandrina was simply world class. From the moment we entered, we were treated like royalty. My fiancé and I were gifted a free upgrade because I had told the Malandrina team that we were visiting Taormina to book our wedding venue. Well, what can I say - WOW, what a treat, we couldn’t believe our luck!! The apartment was spacious, well equipped, beautifully decorated, clean, and the bed was SO comfy with a choice of pillows so that you find the perfect one to rest your head after a crazy exciting day in the town. The apartment have thought of everything you might need - they even have a dishwasher which the maid kindly unloaded for us whilst we were out exploring! A special mention to Sara who I spoke to frequently on WhatsApp. Sara was absolutely superb and she really helped me during our stay by offering suggestions, booking train station taxis, and genuinely taking an interest in how our wedding venue search went. I felt very special 😍. The property is sooooooooo well positioned. All you need to do is turn right out of the property and then turn right again to go down a flight of stairs which take you all the way down onto the Main Street in a few minutes. There is also a handy supermarket about 1 minute away too! Honestly, I can’t wait to come back. Thank you La Malandrina team!!

Our experience at La Malandrina Apartments in Taormina was close to perfect. The proactive and helpful communication via WhatsApp before our arrival set a welcoming tone for our stay. The concierge service, available from morning till 18:00, was exceptionally kind and accommodating, making us feel genuinely looked after. Situated just a 5-minute walk from the center, the location couldn't have been better for exploring the charming streets of Taormina. The apartment exceeded our expectations in every way. It was spacious, beautifully and elegantly decorated, and fully equipped with everything we could need for our stay. The living room was inviting with stylish furniture, and the kitchen had all the essentials for meal preparation. The bedroom was a comfort haven with a cozy bed and ample wardrobe space. Additionally, the luxurious Ortigia bathroom products were a delightful touch. The attention to detail in the apartment's decor and amenities was impressive, creating a luxurious and comfortable atmosphere. However, there was one aspect that detracted from our overall experience - the lack of soundproofing. We could clearly hear the neighbors next door, which occasionally disturbed the peace of our otherwise serene stay. Despite this, our time at La Malandrina Apartments was exceptional. Its prime location, superb facilities, and the high level of service make it an excellent choice for anyone visiting Taormina. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and while the soundproofing could be improved, we would still highly recommend these apartments to others. We're looking forward to the possibility of returning in the future.

We stayed in a very cute and spacious apartment. The location was great. Striking distance to Porta Catania, which was the start of the Main Street Corso Umberto, with breathtaking views of the hills, sea and Etna, about midway through it. The windows had electric shutter blinds for blocking out light if you’d want to have a sleep in. A 40 minute walk up to Castelmoro, with incredible views and a little heart rate on the journey was also a plus, to then enjoy some coffee and cake or a drink and delicious food at the top.

The bathroom felt a little tight, especially the shower and we heard a little noise from the room next door. It wasn’t much though, so it wasn’t a deal breaker. No street noise though

Loved the property beautiful setting so much space and everything you could possibly need. The staff where incredibly helpful 2 mins walk time the most beautiful town of Taormina with spectacular restaurants Also really easy to get to the beach via cable car or taxi We loved our stay here so much

Bed was a bit uncomfortable quite hard But other then that perfection tge only thing that made us sad was we wish we had longer ! We will definitely return to Sicily to spend way more time in Taormina and would definitely stay here again

Lovely apartment, stylishly furnished and comfortable. Host was friendly and accomodating, with some helpful tips about Toarmina and the surroundings. Location of the apartment was excellent! Only five minutes away from Porta Catania parking and a couple of minutes away from the old town Taormina. All in all a very comfortable and positive experience! Would highly recommend.

Our bedroom was as the same level as a street lamp. The light was quite bright at night. I would recommend heavier drapes or blackout blinds. Minor issue though, didn't affect the quality of our stay.

Large 1 BR apt, we were pleasantly surprised by the size. Modern decorated rooms. Large bathroom. Good water pressure. Quality Ortigia toiletries. Quality slippers. Sara was very helpful with everything. The restaurants she recommended were all good too. Nice touch with a small bubbly (and cookies) left in the room on arrival.

Given the driving restrictions in Taormina, it was not easy to find the hotel on arrival. And the fact that we had to pay 26 EUR per day for parking (this is not the hotel's issue; Taormina is very difficult when it comes to parking) The idiot who stayed two floors down and spoke very loudly in Arabic at the balcony! And the coffee machine which did not work the first time around (again, Sara was helpful and looked to fix it right away).

Cute place to spend a night or two at a great location in Taormina, walking distance to the historical center. Staff were very communicative and friendly, with ample explanation on how everything worked, a map of the area etc. The room itself had a small balcony and a kitchenette and the decoration was tasteful. Bathroom was small (toilet so close to the sink that tall people will not fit easily), but it had all the necessities.

The advertised balcony was small and didn't really have a view of anything (just the road), but we spent most of our time in the town anyway. Girlfriend thought the bed was too hard (I liked it, as I like harder beds).

The apartment was very comfortable. The bed was great, the kitchen was small, but had everything you might need. The host was amazing and very accomodating when our flight was diverted and we were 5 hours late for check in. They had daily cleaning service. The views from the balcony were beautiful. It was a ln excellent experience all around. Be prepared to walk a lot, or have a mode of transportation. The place is towards the top of Taormina and a pretty steep uphill trek back from the main square, or really anywhere you will go. We didn't mind that, but if you have issues with walking hills, just keep that in mind.

The entrance to the bathroom from the bedroom is a bit low. I am 6'1" and had to duck a bit so I didn't hit my head. Not a big deal at all.

La Malandrina is one of the most special places we have ever stayed. The inn is elegant, serene and the suites are spacious. The hosts/managers, Christian and Sarah are absolutely the finest people who went way above the call of duty to help us through a travel crisis/emergency. We are forever indebted to them for their dedicated assistance during and after our stay. Truly superb people who went out of their way to assist us. There simply are no words adequate to express our gratitude. Even without their assistance, La Malandrina stole a part of our hearts with the attention to detail and for providing a beautiful inn in a magical place. The location is great and guests can be dropped off at the front door. Be prepared to want to stay forever.
