Wonderful location. We stayed in the off season so it was very quiet.

The communication was initially poor because apparently they use a company to manage the property. They rely on automated responses - it would have been nice to know that at exactly 3:00 the key code would be sent to us, and not a minute earlier. We were waiting outside at 2:50 pm wondering if we were going to be able to find the apartment.

The apartment is well located, on the 2nd to 3rd flight of stairs depending on how you count :), Very tidy and cute. Loved the white/blue accents. Common areas smelled amazing and instructions were quite clear.

The balcony is beautiful BUT - it has a full blown face to face view to the neighbours - in the sense that the outdoor space/your window is about 10 feet apart from their window (with no curtains so you fully see them live their life) - so we left the window covered/closed and didn't use the outdoor space at all, for intimacy purposes. It's not a big deal, but a nice to know IMO.

Location was one street away from the Duomo, quiet enough to hear street noise, not noisy enough to be disturbed. Room was spacious and airy, the balcony was great for airing out wet items, which dried very quickly in the summer heat. Bed was firm but not hard, toilet was clean and well maintained. Hallway lights were also highlighted, so you wouldn't step out into a dark corridor and have to fumble for lights. Staff communicated information well, including payment and information of how to get to the room. Instructions given very clearly, including pin code for doors. Coffee machine and pods were provided, but not the best quality unless desperate, better to walk out to the bars for a handmade.

The location of the apartment was perfect, everything in the old town was a couple of picturesque minutes away. The room was specious and comfortable, and it was cleaned daily. We loved the little detail of available coffee pods which they also restocked every day. The whole staff was super friendly and helpful, if we had any questions they answered quickly. We came by car and there was a good parking garage only 4-5 walking minutes away. All in all, we had a perfect stay and would definitely come back again!

For us, this property was perfectly located at one end of Taormina's main pedestrian drag yet accessible by car, so we could drop our bags off and park the car at the nearest municipal parking lot. From our family room we could get a partial view of Etna's smoking crater and the double room (which our group also booked) had a spacious veranda where we could all hang out together. The whole experience is no-frills: you let yourself in and lug your bags upstairs. The rooms are very spacious, the beds are comfy, the bathrooms are new and the toiletries are good. As in other hotels we stayed in Sicily, we got a capsule espresso machine (and some tea bags) which were very good. You don't get breakfast as the property is not staffed but there are lots of pastry shops and cafes a stone's throw in central Taormina.

Nothing, really: you get what you pay for. 🙂

Fantastic location, overlooking Piazza Duomo and the fountain. We dropped off everyone and all our luggage just outside Porta Catania gate, then went to park the car in the Porta Catania multi-storey carpark. Couple minutes to walk to the apartment from there. Breakfast not provided but Deco supermarket very nearby or plenty of cafes open early. No complaints about the apartment and facilities. Easy check-in/check-out.

Was a bit noisy at night but not unbearable and did quieten down eventually (we were directly overlooking Piazza Duomo but other rooms in our group were quieter).

We stayed 2 nights in a double room with terrace and 2 nights in an apartment. Overall, great stay; great location. The apartment was a bit tired, decor-wise but very spacious and stunning outlook with balcony onto the Piazza. Shame no microwave in kitchen. The double room was fresher and brighter and very nice, with a useful large terrace space (although facing alleyway). Poor hairdryers in both accommodations.

The place was amazing. Coming back to our room after a long day exploring Taormina was such a nice thing. It was surprisingly quiet even though it's so close to everything. Nothing managed to disturb my sleep during our stay. I'm pretty picky about beds, but it was evident that the mattress here was of good quality. It was just right - not too hard, not too soft. Most people would be really happy with it. I might prefer it a bit softer, but I still slept great. I have to give a shoutout to the bed – it was that good! While it's true that there were some smells from the kitchen restaurant below on the balcony, it didn't really bother us. In fact, I'd be more than happy to book the exact same room again. Our communication with the hotel owners was great. We felt safe knowing that if we had any questions or needed anything, they'd get back to us within minutes. This added to our overall satisfaction with the stay. Thank you Al Duomo Rooms and flats for a great stay!

Everything! We arrived hours before check in and they were great in preparing the room a little earlier. Great location, spacious and spotless room (we booked the terrace room and loved people watching and enjoying a morning coffee/evening drink outdoors). We even stayed one night and cooked, kitchen is well equipped. Host is super responsive. We were there for 5 wonderful nights.

Location is perfect. You can reach by foot historic center in 2 minutes. Also parking is so near if you are by car. The room was cozy and clean with big balcony.

As the building is in the heart of city center, we could not use the balcony at the evening and night because of the noise and smell from the restaurants and food. But it was minor issue for us - when you are in the center of the city you should expect it.
