We had the most wonderful stay at Hotel Chams in Chefchaouen! The location was perfect, right in the middle of the charming old city, which made exploring easy and fun. Room: Our room was cozy, clean, and had an incredible view of the old city and mountains. Waking up to the fresh air and breathtaking scenery outside our window was a treat. The private toilet was well-maintained and the room had a nice, fresh smell. Staff: The real star of our stay was the staff. Simo, Aziz, Paris, Omar and everyone else went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. They were all so friendly, welcoming, and just really cool people. They gave us great recommendations for things to do around the city, helped us with our luggage, and were always there with a smile and a kind word. We can't forget about Couscous, the adorable little kitten that the staff clearly dotes on! Food: We always looked forward to breakfast, which was delicious and served by the friendly Omar. We couldn't get enough of the Chefchaouni dish "Bissara/Payssar" and the handmade Jben cheese – it was seriously out of this world! The terrace where we enjoyed our breakfast was the perfect spot to start our day, with the sun rising over the mountains and the city slowly coming to life. Omar's warm hospitality and attention to detail made each breakfast a delightful experience. Terrasse: The view is absolutely stunning, you can see the old city and the mountains stretching out before you, and it's the perfect spot to relax and soak in the beauty of Chefchaouen. Overall, we would definitely recommend Hotel Chams to anyone visiting Chefchaouen. You won't find a better location, more delicious food, or cooler staff anywhere else in the city. Very central, authentic, beautiful rooftop, friendly workers, heating in Winter Could also leave out stuff there after check out, this is also awesome

Window was very small and high, so almost no light (but building is old, owner can’t do anything about it) Probably this wouldn’t be good for someone who likes fancy new hotels, but we were looking for a cool authentic typical maroccan hotel, so for us was perfect! Also good price, so I can’t say anything bad

Charming old hotel in the perfect location to explore. The staff were all super helpful and willing to offer advice whenever approached. Breakfast is a lovely Moroccan meal with bread, eggs and local condiments. Yummy. Terrace is a perfect place to while away time with a wonderful view of the town.

Our first room had no external windows and limited space to unpack. We made it work but glad it was only for 2 days. Our second room was on the top floor with windows on two walls. Fabulous view...but...the call to prayer WILL wake you up as the mosque is not far from the hotel.

Breakfast was wonderfull and delicious. Local products like bread, honey and famous Marocan mint tea - all really good and tasty. Not to mention fresh fruit juices - I am in love with the freshness of the oranges and other fruits. We unfortunatelly do not have this quality in Poland :( Marvelous view from the balcony at the top of hotel - all city visible, all blue houses were there <3

Sometimes it was a little cold, so if you like warmer temperatures, deffinitelly it is worth to take some warmer clothes - it was still like 4-6 degrees Celcius in the morning before sun rise, but it is better to watch out in my opinion - It is a city near mountains, so better be prepared for high differences in temperatures :)

Everything actually, the reception were so gentle and nice to us, and there is a boy and a girl who were definitely the best receptionists I've ever met, the cleaning ladies also were nice and cooperative with us.

Nothing, the hotel is really nice for a trip to the city, i highly recommend

Firstly the staff is amazing they helped me bring my luggage from the parking lot to the room Wich was a blessing, anything needed they provided instantly, the location is inside the medina so everything is right there, the breakfast is great ! The view if you get a top floor is great so overall they made us feel like home, plus not to mention the view from the terrace very beautiful, also mountain view next to you Wich was great.

we had a very warm welcome from Simo the owner of hotel. During the two nights that we’ve stayed, we found the staff from hotel are very friendly, helpful and treat every guest as families. Aziz recommended a very good local restaurant and he even led us way to the restaurant and talked to the restaurant staff to serve us well. Aziz and another hotel staff Omar are so professional and polite and willing to provide help to every guest.

Very cute hotel in perfectly located in the center of medina. The room was small (but enough) and had a beautiful view over the town. You need to park outside medina, which can be an issue if you have a lot of luggage (however this is something you need to accept if you want to stay in medina)

All was perfectly fine, however you should be aware the hotel is located very close to mosque. The prayer started around 5 am and continued for a long while, so it can be disturbing if you want a good sleep.

Received a welcome thee that we enjoyed on the terrace. Location is in the heart of the medina, but easy to get to from one of the main gates (easy walk, 2/3 minutes from drop-off). Staff is a young team, very friendly and helpful.

As read in the other comments, soundproofing isn't the best. And being in the medina and close to a mosque you might want to bring earplugs. But guess this counts for all the other places in the medina as well.

I think they have one of the greatest views of the city in their terrace, the staff is nice, the breakfast is great and they are very very close to the halltown (it's like a 2 minutes walk). Amazing!

The shower was not really hot, but to be honest my stay was short and I didn't ask for a fix or why it wasn't hot enough.
