An absolutely stunning location! Easy to find and park (although limited parking but we had no issues!), the lodge was so clean, so spacious and very well decorated. The bed was comfortable, there were amenities on arrival which were appreciated and the hosts were lovely! The view out to the pond is lovely also and there is a nice seating area which had the weather been better we probably would have used! Great location to get to Cherry Barn which we did for a wedding.

Nothing - everything was great!

Despite the place being on a main road, it was wonderfully quite. Beautiful gardens and pond right next to our accommodation. The lodge was immaculately clean and tidy, with perfect facilities for our short stay, and undoubtedly for even a long one. We felt very welcomed by the owners, who were happy to give us the grand tour and see to our needs. Even though we hadn't brought a car, it was handy to know that there was a space available for us if we needed. A a lovely stroll to too far from a wedding venue that we had plans for, perfect for great weather and walkers such as myself. We would definitely stay again.

John and Jane are excellent hosts. They are available if you need anything and happy to help. The lodge and gardens are superb. The only gripe is the noise from the road. We wanted to chill in the mornings and the noise from the cars was annoying. However the road was much quieter at night and was not an issue for sleeping even though we had the bedroom windows open

The owners were very welcoming and friendly whilst their property was spotless. With a comfortable double bed, quality Egyptian cotton towels and everything we needed in the kitchen, we were very impressed with the inventory. With 3 pubs and a good supermarket in the village, it was an ideal base for exploring East Sussex gardens, Great Dixter and Perch Hill.

Complete studio. Excellent releaxing chairs. good Bed, nice private small garden. Kitchen complete. welcome by host very friendly. Prepared welcome with welcome board in front of the studio. welcome with cookies and fresh milk in the fridge coffee provided.

Breakfast table a little small. suggested to install a fold away bigger one to the host.

Love it ,location was fabulous so comfortable ,bed was so comfortable,pillows so soft as were the towels,room very big ,bathroom fab top class,we had our own secluded garden so pretty,we took our chairs down to the beautiful pond ,full of fish so tranqil, just what we need, and the host were so charming and helpfull,left us goodies for us to enjoy, we said we would love to go back some time soon, to that little gem we found in peasmarsh.

It was just perfect.

very comfortable beautiful outlook onto the pond nice private garden area beautiful garden’s surrounding the pond wildlife and fish in abundance. everything you need in the property and beautifully decorated wonderful bathroom shower cosy sofas looking out with French doors onto garden. very friendly hosts and looked after us so well. John spent time telling us about all the flowers and local places of interest. Ten minutes drive to camber

Location was lovely as next to the pond ,away from the road,nice and quiet. Very impressed with rooms and styles ,its own uniqueness ,very impressed really nice .

The only thing was sussing out the oven and how to turn on ,but done it in the end ourself, just not used to such a modern one and the owners would if obliged I'm sure . Nothing to complain, really enjoyable visit will go again ,1st place and people.

We had the rear most "Pond View" unit. Recently refurbished. Everything was fitted to a high standard. A modern shower room and a fully equipped kitchen. Patio doors opened out onto the pond area. Very peaceful. The front of the property doesn't look that attractive but once you get down the narrow alley it opens up to a border garden and a well kept pond area. Very enjoyable on a sunny morning. This was our second visit.

Exceptional number of facilities - cooker, fridge, toaster, kettle, loads of utensils etc. They even had a cafetiere and provided tea, coffee, biscuits and milk upon arrival. Bed was quite low and had a memory foam mattress but was comfortable and perfect for watching TV. Bus stop to Rye very close and a lovely pond just 2 lodges away. There was even a small outdoor table and chairs to have your breakfast cuppa. And there was a pub The Oak next door We were expecting it to be colder (the temperature dropped during the night) but it seemed well insulated and there was no noise from the lodges next door, even though they were occupied. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Please note there are no street lamps so it is very dark at night. The stars are fantastic.

The 2 armchairs were not really needed and had to be moved out of the way to access the wardrobe. Either have just one or maybe provide some cushions and you could use the breakfast bar chairs. The sink in the bathroom was too high. Parking is limited to 1 space per lodge and it is very easy to drive straight past it (as we did), especially as it is a quite busy road outside with a 50mph speed limit. Maybe a larger sign could be erected?
