Everything. My second stay here and it didn't disappoint. Fantastic location, we stayed in a 'cave' room which are amazing. The food was also really good as were the staff who could not do enough to make our stay enjoyable.

There was nothing we didn't like, the place is fabulous. Perhaps, only a slight niggle is the pool is a plunge pool and not a pool for swimming. There is a large patio area which may have benefitted from some furniture and especially shade so it could be used for recreation but I'm being really picky. The place is great and we will be back again.

Our time at Auberge Todra Gorge was truly special! Located in one of the most stunning canyons with some of the most beautiful skies in Morocco, the setting was absolutely beautiful. The hotel itself perfectly blends rustic charm with sophistication, offering quality and comfort. The staff was incredibly polite and attentive, and we can’t forget to mention the adorable four-legged intern, who added such a lovely touch to our stay. It was the perfect place to recharge our energy before continuing our adventure to the desert. The shower was nice, the food was delicious, and the music added a wonderful ambiance. Auberge Todra Gorge is yet another unforgettable gem of Morocco. Thank you for everything!

A fabulous find in the Todra Gorge with amazing views. The room was quite big and comfortable. Bathroom clean and tidy with a separate toilet. We had a large terrace outside our room with table and chairs. The hotel is eco friendly with its own well and generates all its own electricity through solar power. It has a plunge pool and lots of places to relax around the property. The food was excellent and in the evening the staff played traditional berber music. The staff here are amazing, so friendly and very helpful and welcoming.

The bed was fairly comfortable but due to it been metal framed creaked every time you moved

Amazing view!!! It’s a magical location between two mountains just next to the river. To park your car you have to go through a little bit of water and cross to the other side. The place is totally silent at night and run only on solar energy or occasional generator. There is no mobile phone reception and WiFi is available only in the restaurant so everyone can just relax. We booked the cave and it was amazing. Hot water, comfy bed, might be hot in high summer but we had rain. I regret not staying for two nights and exploring the walking tracks better. It’s interesting how all the tourist busses and crowds accumulate just few kms down on that one asphalted spot where all the stalls and dirt is and so few manage to reach this spot which is you sand times better. Vegetarian options possible. Great breakfast.

Amazing location in the middle of the gorge. Beautiful surroundings and buildings. Spacious room with hot water at night. Dinner and breakfast were superb, and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Have stayed here before 11 years ago and it is still just as good as it was before, they keep the place up well! Had fun playing music with the staff at night: this was actually fun and not forced fun. Amin especially was super kind.

The shower is hot but could use a holder, now one of us held it while the other showered. Be mindful that because it is selfsustained you cannot use high voltage (e.g. hair dryers) - phone charging is fine - and will be charged for hot water useage. Heating is with a gas heater as well, but it worked.

Our stay at this place was absolutely perfect. From the moment we arrived, we felt like home. The hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming. The dinner was a delicious, authentic Moroccan meal, and the breakfast was equally fantastic. Sleeping in a cave was an unforgettable experience—everything was clean, warm, and incredibly comfortable. The atmosphere was truly magical, and I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a unique and memorable stay. Don’t miss it if you’re visiting the Gorges!

Amazing location in the middle of the Todra Gorges, beautifully designed and entirely built in rock to match the surrounding area. Everything went super smooth from the moment we checked in to the check out. Our stay was extremely relaxing, with friendly and competent staff, amazing good dinner with traditional music show and excellent, rich breakfast. We slept in the cave room and it was amazing, very clean and spacious with all the comforts you need. We stayed 10 days in Morocco, sleeping in a different place each night, but Auberge Le Festival was by far the best structure we stayed at, not even close!

Warm and genuinely friendly welcome on arrival with exceptional hospitality provided from the very start. Unique, clean, and comfortable accommodation. Breakfast, and dinner especially, were excellent with music, singing, and dancing as superb live entertainment in the evening. The location is incredible and we went on spectacular hikes through the gorge and then enjoyed the breathtaking view of the stars at night. The staff organised a taxi for us on departure with a friendly driver at a very reasonable price. We cannot thank the team enough for this experience and would recommend to anyone without hesitation. We initially planned to stay one night but added another and would have loved to have stayed longer. Cannot wait to stay again in the future!

Amazing location overlooking Todra Gorge; beautiful gardens & fortress like building. Quadruple room had extra space for bags. Meals were served at 8:00pm with vegetarian option each evening - vegetarian soup, salad, choice of 2 options for main course (vegetarian / meat). Staff were friendly and helpful. Terraces were beautiful.

Wifi was not available in rooms and minimal slow wifi in reception/ dining area. Ants in our tower room. Difficult access to property if the river rises.

Staff were very nice and accommodating. Really good hospitality. They provided dinner (150dh per person) and breakfast at a time of our choosing (with 1 hour notice). The dinner is truly amazing, 3 courses and topped off with a delicious mousse. The staff also played light drumming which perfectly matched the setting. The tables were all lit by candlelight, which truly made the evening something special within the gorge. The cave rooms are warm but we were very comfortable. The shower was very powerful and amazing for an off grid setup. Actually one of the best showers we had even in such isolation in a gorge. This is the best hotel we stayed at whilst in Morocco. The price is mid range but the value is above what you pay. Definitely the best place we stayed on our road trip to Merzouga and chefchaouen. Free private parking right at the doorstep.
