Staying at Palazzo Buonaccorsi really took us to another era: we loved the charm of the old palace, its central location, the quaint vaults and rooms (where hospitality has been going on for quite some time) the charming courtyard and sparrows nesting in it ancient hallways. It takes you in slowly, but you love it more and more with each step. The true upside of this place is the kind owner and her colleague, who go out of their way to give you relevant information and adapt to your needs, recommend itineraries for exploring Tuscany ... I'd take such a stay, filled with local identity, quirks and authenticity, anytime over any modern hotel. We loved it.

A very good place for an authentic stay at San Giminano. The pictures promised a lovely place and it was delivered. The host and personal are very friendly and caring. Tips and hints were given for the city and all of Tuscany.

Old, clean rooms, living space very comfortable and friendly, Palazzo itself, personal support always being ready and willing to help, combination in between old and new objects, view from windows (2nd floor )

A common bathroom, but this has been known. Breakfast would have been a good option. Noisy room, especially in the morning, being located over an important street

Highly recommend this old Palazzo in superb location very close to the north end of San Gimignano at Porta San Matteo. We stayed in a spacious room with shared facilities at a good price. The furnishings are very grand & charming. We really appreciated the kind receptionists who went out of their way to help us. Their suggestion for dinner at Il Feudo was perfect 👌

Amazing location, amazing building and host! One of the best stays that you may have in San Gimigniano. The rooms are comfortable and aesthetically in accordance to the history of the place and it's character.

The rooms did not offer good ventilation but it is understandable due to the age of the building and its historical architecture.

Location was superb, right in the middle of San G. Parking instructions were very clear and the owner was passionate about her property and very helpful. We had six staying in the property and there were four bedrooms. We had a wonderful one night stay. Only one bathroom but that was fine for one night. Thank you

A beautiful building, thoughtfully restored and furnished. The staff were lovely and the host was very attentive, even offering us an upgrade. The room was charming, nothing fancy but very clean and well looked after. It is very centrally located, right in the thick on things.

The bathroom was compact and quite dated.

This beautiful accomodation has little pieces of history at ecery step on every wall. You get to stay in a historical palace, experience how people lived hundreds of years ago, wothout any of the downsides. It is nicely maintained, clean and comfy. In the heart of the cita, close to cafes and restaurants but not noisy at all. We algo got great recommandations for dinner from the owner. I totally recommend booking this place if available.

Rooms are on the upper floors and there are lots of stairs to climb. This didn't bother us particularly, but other residents may have difficulties.

The palace is a gorgeous and well maintained hotel/historic jewel located conveniently in the city center. The hotelier Marzia is professional and knowledgeable. Marzia provides 5 star hotel concierge services for her guests. Her knowledge of the town and the Tuscany region is helpful to tourists seeking additional help.
