Rustic, but great! The owners are very friendly and helpful. It has a well-worn charm in the common areas, and our room was clean and warm. If you're just looking for a place to lay your head at night, and plan to spend most of your time skiing and then hanging out at a restaurant/ bar afterwards - this place is excellent value. It's close to everything, including the shuttle bus, and they also have their own onsen (albeit a VERY hot one).

Great, helpful, friendly staff, giving local recommendations. Dry Room for storage of snow gear, great location close to mountain shuttle bus. Great onsen to relax after big day on the slopes.

Very homely, amazing staff, so welcoming and helpful. We loved the traditional accomodation with its small but amazing onsen. Great value for money, spectacular views. Will definitely stay here on our next trip to Japan

Lots of stairs but that’s all part of it. No complaints really

We really enjoyed our stay at Seisenso. The host was kind and helpful. The room was beautiful and comfortable. There is a private onsen in the basement. It is just a short walk to the ski mountain and even shorter walk into town. We would stay again.

The breakfast was okay but not great.

Warm and comfortable ryokan. Onsen, massage chair and a cat are my favourites. Lady running this place is friendly and welcoming. We have stayed two years in a row here.

Absolute value.

Great, central location!

My sinuses would get stuffy every time I was in the room so maybe there is a mold issue in the tatami?
